We really do enjoy the area - lots to do whether wineries or hiking. There are quite a few hikes we haven't done yet and look forward to visiting the area again soon. Thanks for watching!
We stayed there in June 2023 for 4 nights. Wonderful campground! The owners Rachael & Doug are terrific! They created the site form an open farm field, planting grass and trees. The back of our site, #3, had a beautiful view of the meadow that led to the Red Newt Winery.
It is! We didn't meet the owners but have heard such nice things from people who have. And you can't beat the location! We were very happy to see the park open in 2022 (I believe). Was the pavilion up in June? We were there in May and it was almost done.
@@WinesPinesandCanines Yes the pavilion was finished and they did a great job. Day trips to the Corning Glass Museum and to the Curtis Wright Museum were fun as well as hiking the gorge at Watkins Glen State Park. It was our first trip in our, new to us, 2020 Geo Pro G19FD.
It does lack trees but the park is only a few years old so the trees they planted are still small. Would be nice to have some shade/privacy but we really like how convenient it is too everything! Thanks for watching.
Loved Red Newt! That is on our list to Harvest Host one day. We visited the winery three times during our stay lol. The RV park is very convenient lol! Thanks for the watch!
I love that area and appreciate you showing more of the area

Watkins Glen was amazing! Not dog friendly on the main trail so Troy had to remain at the camper with Desi. He gets to do it next time!
Miss having you guys here. We’ve been to all those wineries; except Hector. Guess we will have to remedy this. Great video for the area.
Thank you - we miss you guys as well! Cant wait to visit again!
Sites are too out in the open.

We love to Harvest Host stay at Red Newt Winery and have watched that park grow from the view up the hill! Thanks for the thorough review.
