Super honest review brother. Agree about them not being as bright as I was hoping. Put some on my edc 42 and to be honest was a bit underwhelmed. The reviews will lead you to believe these are miracle sights, best of fiber optic and best of night sights... when in reality theyre kinda just mediocre in each of these categories. Bright light and no light they’ll do just fine, but every kind of lighting in between (indoors/office buildings, dawn/dusk, poorly lit places...) theyre pretty darn dim. Will keep them for a while but will probably just switch them back to tfo’s as the fiber optic is so much brighter
I just picked up a slightly used gen 5 G19 for $350.00 with these TFX sights already installed. I'm thrilled with my purchase.
sgtcote1 fucking deal
What a deal bro
There's just something inherently wrong with a guy wearing 90% density sunglasses reviewing any sort of night/low-light sights.
Bro it’s daytime
So true
Hey, Thanks for your the great review on the Truglo TFX Pro sights! Really really helpful, as I am considering these for one of my Glocks. I have typically just installed 3-Dot 'Bright & Tough' Trijicons on my Glocks to replace the standard polymer sights!
Definitely appreciated your honesty about the actual visibility in various light conditions since I have no experience with using these sights! Take care, CBP!
I bought these for my Kimber Ultra Carry ll. Knowing that overall they're probably the best sights on the market. Are the best true night sight, no. Are they the best and brightest fiber optic, no. But combined they work better than the others overall. And at $105 on Amazon prime, they're a very good bargain.
They are damn good for the money I just don't see the point of trijicons price on their sights especially when these sights last 10 to 12 years and are just as good in my opinion.
How do they compare to trijicon tritium, please? Does it really make a diff?
I have these sights on my Glock 34. They are super accurate, man. Worth every penny
Great review! I tried the original TFO's when they were introduced back in 2005 or so, and was ok with them, but not that impressed. I preferred black rear and thin as I could get tritium or fiber optic front depending on intended use. Tried them again ten years later and LOVED them. Now nearly every Glock I own wears TFOs. I don't think it was change of taste so much, as the difference between 35 year old eyes, and 45 year old eyes. When you hit reading glasses stage, I think these really shine. TFX PRO's look nice, like the ledge, but they don't seem to come in orange rear green front, my favorite combo.
I like the bloopers at the end of the video keeping it 100% real .much respect
I recently purchased these for my firearm. Currently TRUGLO has a $20 mail in rebate for all TFX and TFX PRO sight models. Purchase between 08/01/2017 to 12/31/2017.
Eric Garcia even if you buy them on Amazon? Where do you get the rebate form? Webpage? Thanks
thanks for the review i was trying to decide what sights i wanted for my g17 gen 3 for sure gonna order a pair next pay check
Bro the bloopers at the end😂😂😂 made my day! Thanks for the review, God bless 🤙🏼🙏🏼
Still liking these sights? Looking for a set for a PDP......these seem to be the ticket 👍
Thanks for the good review, I have these installed on my S&W Shield and really like them. Going to install them on my FNX 45
Best sights I've ever used on a pistol.
I recently bought new Tru Glo TFX Pro orange series; 02/2023. I added to my used Glock 41 .45acp gen 4. I like the design but have read online reviews saying the orange front is NOT super bright. I also use Trijicon HD night sights, orange. Glocks, M&Ps. Some like the newer HD xr series but HDs 3 dot work great.
Very good video . Clean language too. Thanks a lot.
Great video man! I was looking for some new sights for my Glock and you got me sold and you a new subcriber
Thanks for this review. it was very helpful. I'm off to place an order!
hey CountryBoyPrepper! !! yea I'll take the durability over the really bright fiber optic. .. that's always been the turn off for me is the exposed fiber optic. .. that sounds like a can do optic now! I have the meprolight from the team glock store. has glock logo on it. I like them alot.... self defense is serious! I like this new option you are showing us! I also love Optics Planet! thanks again! !!
Great sights! Agreed, night and day from the TFOs. Really like the improvements. Take care brotha!
Any other sight recommendations after 4 years has passed since this comment :D? You still using the TFX Pros'? From my research I landed on the Wilson Combat Vickers Elite w/ Fiber Optic front - awesome for the price point ($85). The TFX Pro's are coming in at $125-$135. The Trijicon HD XR's look awesome with the thin front post, but again higher price point ($190). HiViz look pretty cool.
@@davehoffmire3747 every one you listed I own and all are great. Just depends what sight picture you prefer. TFX pros still bright and great sights.. but I’ve started to like the blackout rear and tritium front. Wilson combat is what I’m using for most now.
@@spec2057 Wilson Combat doesn't have a Fiber/Tritium combo front sight do they? I haven't seen one... Are you using like a TruGlo front sight with the Wilson Combat rear?
@@davehoffmire3747 no bud.. they’re Wilson Combat with front tritium(not fiber) night sight and blacked out rear. Found that when I have the rear night sights glowing they distract me from the front sight picture. I’ll see if I can find a link. Many companies have them, just prefer Wilson.
@@davehoffmire3747 Vickers are great as well....but here are some of the options for Glock. They make them for others as well. shopwilsoncombat.com/Sights/products/933/
just bought them on amazon for $116, compared to Brownell's for $179 ... for Glock
4/ 02/17:Amazon's price dropped to $114
i just got them on my 33 for $99
How have they held up?
@@ArmedChicano excellent, super bright at night and twice as bright in the day. I had Trijicon on from 2003- 2017, they lost a lil luster but are only good for 10 years.
@@rocdarjargm thanks
Good review, ordered them with your discount. Thanx dude!
Great Review CBP ! You helped me better see how long these sights are, on the 19 slide.
great video man... thanks. I have an fns 9, & those are the sights I'm changing to. Again, great video... keep them coming
love it.... hoping to get some! Thanks for the video!
Thx for the vids CP. I am deciding between the Tritium HD's and the TRX pro, hmmmmm.
Thank you very much😊
What lb spring or guide rod are you shouting with??? 😍 man that recoil is minimum to none!!!
C&G holsters are great
Next time maybe I don't know, SHOW WHAT THE SIGHTS LOOK LIKE AT NIGHT TIME?
Put em on my Taurus G3Cs and their excellent.....I'd carry a G19 but the grip angle or something unknown makes me a horrible aim, gotta go with what works for ya in life!!
Line up the dots, not the tops of the sights. The top of the front blade should be a little lower than the top of the rear notch to line up the dots properly. 👍✌
Do you find that these sights (specifically the rear) are too distracting from the front sight in the day time?
So should I buy the high sights or the low sights ? I’m confused ?
Nice hat, CBP.
Great video, as always.
Have these on my SP2022 love them
I have that exact same gun and color!
i got it in my taurus g2c and love it the only problem i got is the front sight is tight but when i go to use it shot the first round and it get lose not much i tight it but i go shot it it get lose how can i fix that
Good job.
I just had tfx pros installed on my glock 43x...front side wobbles alittle side to side..is this normal? Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Mr Guns & Gear suggests a dab or 2 of Loctite blue. You might need a Glock armorer or trained gunsmith.
I put them on a month ago and the gun seems to shoot high. I had several people try and they had the same results. It’s about 6” high.
The sight is not "IRON"
TruGlo tritium is made
of STEEL not Iron
I purchased Truglo TFX Pro Sights about 3-4 years ago and the Rear sights seem to work as well as when I got them but the Front sights not so much. Anyone else having issues with the Tritium losing it's charge? Can the Front sight be purchased by itself? I have a FNS-9 and have only found the Front sight sold by itself for the Beretta PX4 Storm. Anyone know if that sight will fit the FNS-9 or if it can be modified to fit?
During the day they are very bright, but in low light or at night they are not functional, they do not glow.
Will this fit for a polymer 80 glock 17
can you recommend a Glock 23 as a first gun
I'd choose a Glock 19 gen 5 MOS 9mm as a first semi auto. They are very popular & have many holsters, parts. You can add a rear optic too.
I've got the front sight on my px4 and the rears are blacked out
Best part was the out takes lol
Just this week I was contemplating if anyone made a tritium F.O. combo sight, but I doubt they make an option for the CZ P series. Off to research!
On the off chance, how many rounds have you got through that Glock? My observation, but the extractor looks like its on the worn side.
A lot lol! I really don't have any idea but if I had to guess I'd say somewhere between 5,000-10,000ish. I've had it about three years and I bought it new.
CountryBoyPrepper =D Yep, that's on the tired side! Extractors tend to last a long time, but a new spring does wonders. Course in your case, it makes finding the brass easier! Very nice that you still have contact with your audience. There may come a time when there's just too many voices. Enjoy it while you have it!
CMDR Boom o recently just bought some truglo TFX pros for my CZ 75 P01 what P series do you have probably the P07 if I'm guessing.
Killabee-23 P09 SR =) I didn't have much luck outside of CGW. Had I a CNC, I'd be cranking these out all day
CMDR Boom they have tfx pro for cz. I love these sights for my cz p01
nice upgrade bro!!! I have the same ones on my Glock 23. I do prefer the Truglo TFX with the white ring, but wish they came with the new rear sight design. I am getting use to the orange ring on the Pros they just don't stand out as much as the Trijicon orange HD. check out my vids...I subbed... take care.
Glad to hear not as bright. Went back to older version. Under overhang at range older is better. Now just buy their cheaper FIBER OPTIC NO Tritium. Can’t see the tritium at night well enough to be useful
Jum ellas tienen un problema de día funciona muy bien pero si esta en un sitio donde no hay luz del Sol ☀ no funciona las miras
Good video. Too much selling thouh
October 11...sad now...
Were are u atttttt
Looks like he gets hit in the stomach with a ricochet around 1:32
Sure did
what you prepping for chunky?
Hello, I would like to be your friend.
Nobody cares get to the point read through the video
Those look great! I'll have to see if they make them for the shield, it would be nice to have on my concealed carry pistol.
