I'm from Canada, snuck over & climbed it (took me much longer than 4 hours!). An incredible feat, some great cinematography in there as well. Nice the record holder is local!
Yeah, makes me wonder... my experience with wearing crampons on softer boots is that to get a good fit, they need to be strapped quite tight, which will hurt after a time. Would be interesting to hear if he just accepts that pain... All in all I prefer my ski mountaineering boots if I have to be on crampons in steeper territory for a longer time.
