Haha. They're from China. My friend Luna was promoting them. They played a sell out gig at a 1200 cap venue the previous night. They are pretty awesome. The crowd were culturally very different from the usual Windmill crowd. There were about five solid rows of Chinese fans in front of the stage from doors forming an impenetrable phalanx into which I had to insert myself to film. Luna had to chat to them to facilitate this, otherwise I couldn't have filmed it. Not a single one was drinking, or bothered the bar for soft drinks even, and everyone stayed put from start to finish. I've developed a strong stoicism and a camel like bladder in order that I can do this, as I need to get a prime spot whenever I film, so do the get there early and don't budge technique myself, bit am not used to the entire audience doing the same.
@@LouSmith Didn’t know you’d have this experience! Yeah the audience culture is different in China, we would queue from pretty early and not move for hours. Just like fans in the biggest festivals in the first row. And people don’t very like to drink as British. That’s the cultural difference I guess. I used to be like this as well. It’s very rare to see this band in such a close distance, so the front rows competition was severe, you have to stay at your position stably, otherwise others will take your place quickly. That’s why people didn’t move I guess, can’t blame it! But it’s very kind that they would like to leave the spot for you. :)

They are huge in China, like really really huge, headlining every music festival.
