    On a lighter note, I met Nathan two days ago at St Michael's Cornhill - what a person. Charming, modest to a fault, and bloody amazing at the organ too. What he'll be like in middle-aged maturity, with that much more teaching and general experience under his belt...

    Quite an instrument, that Marshall & Ogletree toaster... but a toaster nevertheless. There's something oddly artificial about its sound - same as with any toaster. It'll never match up to a good pipe organ. TCWS may think it has a wonderful musical instrument, and no further need of a pipe organ, but nothing could be further from the truth. It's still just a pile of computers that'll be obsolete and probably dead in 30 years. They still need a proper pipe organ.
