Gypsum Recycling by RIGIPS - More Sustainability with RiCycling

The raw material supply of RIGIPS is based on three pillars: natural gypsum, FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) gypsum and recycled gypsum.
Several years ago, RIGIPS launched with RiCycling an own concept for recycled gypsum, a valuable construction material.
The video shows this concept: RIGIPS can return recyclable materials to the production process, e.g. from the demolition of buildings or as offcuts from plasterboard.
We work together with an internationally experienced processing company that processes the recyclable materials according to our high requirements for a raw material and thus ensures the high quality of Rigips products.
The environment and resources are protected in several ways through this recycling: on the one hand, resource efficiency increases significantly because instead of alternative natural or industrial gypsum resources, materials can be used that have already been used in the cycle before and will be used again in the future as a new raw material base.
On the other hand, residual materials are reduced and the limited landfill space is noticeably relieved.
The RiCycling concept thus represents a "real" recycling process, at the end of which pure gypsum of consistently high quality always passes through the production cycle again.
