  • Eldan Recycling’s fully automated tire recycling plant ensures high productivity with a minimum of operators. This plant will process both truck and passenger car tires to a 99.99% pure rubber granules output - free from both steel and textile. The system is optimised with load control and automated feeding to achieve the best possible throughput. This ensures you get the most from your investment!
    All the machines are manufactured in Denmark, and the plant is assembled at our own factory in Faaborg - we even have our own electrical department to ensure you receive a high quality and tested plant where everything fits and works together. All out plants are customised according to your needs and wishes.
    This multi-size tire plant can produce a wide variety of output fractions depending on specific customer needs and market demands - everything from 100 x 100 mm tire shreds and TDF rubber chips to pure rubber granulate ranging from sizes 0.5-2.0 to 2.0-8.0 mm. And changing output size is as easy as changing the screen combination in the main machines. Furthermore, the plant turns the waste steel wire into high quality steel wire fraction 96-98% free of textile & rubber for added value.
    With this plant, you can process up to 10 metric tons (22.000 lbs.) input/hour if producing tire shreds, or 5 metric tons (11.000 lbs.) input/hour if producing high quality rubber granulate.

      I mean, it isn't "clean" because it still relies on an industrial process however it is far cleaner than using virgin materials
      We have to stop pretending that recycling is clean. It is cleaner, but it isn't clean. That's not to say you shouldn't recycle of course.
      It's to say that we should be reducing what we consume in the first place.

    This looks fantastic.
    Here in NZ like many parts of the world today there are unwanted unused and more often than not more illegally dumped tires all over the place.
    Why is there not more like this movie scattred about all over our planet or is this new technology still in it's trailing process.
    I'd sooner see one of these in all of our major cities making use of an unwanted product rather then finding them by the truck loads dumped someplace in our clean green environment.

    • @EldanRecycling
      @EldanRecycling  3 роки тому

      Hi Mohsen Abdollahi - we only manufacture the machines and don't have any specific numbers from our customers.
      What the granules are used for and hence who buys it and how much often depends, however, on the granule size, purity, and where in the world they are used. They can be used as recycled rubber in shoe soles, in asphalt, in vibration dampening and playground mattes, for pyrolysis, and much more, and sales then depends on which and how many different products they are used for in the area.

    Trying to figure out the intended audience for this piece. Most likely potential buyers of their machinery as well as end use rubber and steel customers. As a UA-cam viewer, all I know is ELDAN makes a lot of machines with letters and numbers as names. A piece for public consumption would have less than a third of the lower thirds, (that's a pun) and some voice over to explain what's going on and the benefits to us all. Epic Armageddon music though!

    • @EldanRecycling
      @EldanRecycling  5 років тому +1

      Dear K Joseph. Thank you for your constructive input as a "UA-cam viewer". It is correctly observed that voice over would help , and not only for someone that is not too familiar with the recycling industry, and we have thought about making videos with voice over. It will definitely be something to consider when we produce new videos in the future.

      @@EldanRecycling Wow There are very few companies which actually respond to comments made on UA-cam. Most weeks I litter pick a road which is about a mile long. Frequently there are tyres dumped in the countryside. It is very annoying as I then have to take them to my local council tip. I have no idea what happens to them after that. Sadly a lot of material collected by councils in the UK for recycling is not - it just ends up in landfill. I will take a longer look at your website. Citizens of the UK need to put more pressure on the Government and Councils to really recycle and not pay lip service to the subject. I am glad to learn that there is at least one company which cares.

      There are also companies using reclaimed rubber for rubberized asphalt and asphalt replacements, such as for bike and walking paths as they are more flexible to ground shifting as well as fatigue alleviating jogging/walking routes. Possibly also for various fill, construction products, etc. There's very few things which require virgin rubber. Even some vehicle tires can use reclaimed rubber.

    There is a missed production step right at the beginning. This process invests steps, electricity, and machine hours to separate the steel after the rubber had been chipped. A significant percentage of the steel in a conventional car or truck tire is isolated in the bead, why not cut it off first? The first step in the workflow could be a chute with opposing rollers which spin the tire against cutters that hook around the bead, cut it off and set each one aside. Then the carcass continues to be shredded and processed as the plant is designed. Whatever steel wires are under the tread must still be removed, but they become a smaller percentage of the weight, and therefore less effort. You can thank me later with a royalty cheque in CAD.

      @EldanRecycling  5 років тому +7

      Dear Terry Warner. Firstly, we would like to thank you for your input. However, in this case there is a well- thought out system behind our product design. ELDAN has great success in removing the steel wire from tires in our Multi Purpose Rasper (MPR). The MPR shreds the tires and the steel wire is automatically removed with a magnet. This plant solution has proven to be incredibly effective, and automatically produces both high-quality saleable rubber chips (TDF, Equestrian, input pyrolisys etc) and steel wire for the steel mills. It is our experience that De-beading of tyres, it is not an effective process Yes, it is possible to remove the steel wire in truck tires before they are recycled, but this requires additional investments, running costs, manpower and handling, which makes the process uneconomical.

      Dear One Up. Thank you for your interest. What do you mean when you ask if; "floating islands have been added to tyre recycling"? We design, produce and sell machinery and recycling plants. We do not process the material ourselves, nor do we decide how our customers put our machinery to use use when they have purchased a recycling plant from us. Thus we cannot influence them to build floating islands from the material.

    How many employees do you need?

    • @EldanRecycling
      @EldanRecycling  3 роки тому

      Hi - it is difficult to give you a figure for how many tires can be recycled in a specific time frame, since it depends on many factors - machine type/size, output type/size/purity, tire type/size. You can process more passenger car tires to 50-300 mm tyre shreds in a large shredder in a day, than if you make truck tyres into 30 mesh powder in a small scale line. It also makes a huge difference if you are operating your machinery in 1 shift, 2 or even 3 shifts a day. So you need to be more specific if you want a clear answer I'm afraid.

      Regarding area and operators needed as well as prices, it depends on a lot of different factors like needed capacity, level of automation, required output size and purity, and added upgrades like steel cleaning and powder production. We have plants needing as little as two-three operators for various tasks down the line, and plants where you pay less for the machinery but need more operators to ensure a smooth operation then. Customization is key to most of the plants we sell, since no recycler's needs and buildings/site are the same.

      Hello Faris. Thank you for your positive comments about our machine :) And yes, our quality cannot be compared. It is often more expensive in the long run to buy a cheaper version from e.g. China than to buy our robust machines that are durable and where you know that you will not have expensive down-time trying to find spare parts. We have produced machines since 1956, and we make strong, durable machines with strong and durable spare parts and we keep our technical manuals for our customers to be able to access them for decades. You are welcome to contact us at info@eldan-recycling.com and we will gladly try to help.

    Why wouldn't you show us what happens to the rubber stored? Because pyrolysis is bad for environment? And it may cause extensive damage to machinery that uses the fuel? Or because of all the aggressive greenhouse gasses emitted?

    • @EldanRecycling
      @EldanRecycling  5 років тому

      Dear Dileep Koppu, please be informed that the plant in the video shows production of high quality rubber granulates for the manufacturing rubber products, rubber tyres, rubber mats etc. The rubber granulate is stored in 1 ton big bags. This type of plant also produce high quality steel wire that can be sold to steel mills. It is important to stress that this type of plant is not being used to produce rubber for pyrolysis, nor do we produce fuel with it.

      In American English, spelt primarily refers to the hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe, and the verb spell makes spelled in the past tense and as a past participle.
      In all other main varieties of English, spelt and spelled both work as the past tense and past participle of spell, at least where spell means to form words letter by letter or (with out) to make clear. Outside the U.S., the two forms are interchangeable in these uses, and both are common.
      But when spell carries the sense to temporarily relieve (someone) from work, spelled is the preferred form throughout the English-speaking world. This is a minor point, though, as this sense of spell is rarely used outside the U.S., where it is most common.
      Spelled is not a recent Americanism as many people assume (including some who have commented on this post). Both spelled and spelt are old, and examples of each are easily found in historical Google Books searches covering the 17th and 18th centuries. It is true, however, that spelt was ascendant everywhere through most of the 19th century. This ended when Americans permanently settled on spelled around 1900.
