In The Forever Winter, players enter a maze of relentless PvEvE conflict, with various ever-present enemy factions fighting to achieve their own objectives. Squads of up to four players (or AI-driven squadmates) face off against (or sneak by) hordes of colossal enemies and loot the fallen in a desperate race to secure what’s left of Earth’s dwindling resources. Scavenge what you need, then be ready to run like hell or face an inevitably bloody demise. Building your arsenal over multiple play-throughs gives you a fighting chance against bigger and badder enemies… but you’ll never stop the war. You’ll never “win.” In The Forever Winter, winning is staying alive and returning home with supplies for your crew.

Pretty sure they intentionally made the animation at low frame rate to give a stop-motion feel, looks really cool, not sure about how it would play though.

To me it reminds me of a lot of games shown as „alpha“ or „pre alpha“ versions and then still releasing like this. Already a red flag. They didnt even wait for a proper version to show gameplay. 2010s flashbacks

Very sexy trailer. Everything about it reminded of dystopia mech games from the 90s. Truly horrific and that gameplay looks fun af.
This makes the Terminators and machines from The Matrix seem more humane... can't wait to experience this nightmare of a world when it comes out.

Gameplay might run like a toaster right now, but considering how it looks _and_ it's pre-alpha, I'm cautiously optimistic
Has that Division, Outsiders, Helldivers type gameplay
Its looks so sick and twisted in the best way!
The human character models look cartoony like Fortnite, really clashes against all the grit and gore.
Looks promising, performance can be fixed, will wishlist it for sure.
