@Todd Cory Thank you very much for ssshing me.Looking to delete all my negative comments.I do still believe this but my opinion doesn't really matter.I only said this because I grew up in 70's and saw many of the greats but how can I dispute Trey's popularity or success. Thanks again seriously
The Beacon Jams were a major turning point for Trey artistically, I feel like. He seemed so loose and relaxed exploring old treasures again. And the strings were off the charts; EXACTLY what those arrangements needed. A big "thank you" to everyone involved in making those performances a reality for fans like me. They make the future look bright indeed.
Trey is the kind of guy where, if you ask him to come over and jam, he'll sling his amp/guitar on his back with a beat up strap and ride his bike furiously over to your house, just to jam with you. . . I love this man.
Gold! Thank you Beacon Theater, Trey, and ALL for the special 8 weeks we had together. You were a beacon of light in a world of fright! a few notes on this video, who else said Jeff Tanski in Trey's voice every time Jeff appeared? Who else sobbed like baby when Trey talked about his love for Fish? 🙋🏻♀️ Eternally grateful for the Phish and extended Phish community. Wishing you all many blessings. Until we can be together again, stay safe! 💚
Phish has been a constant in my life since I was 18 in 1993. I'm now 45 and with all the ups and downs that life brings, Phish has always been there. It's no surprise that during this pandemic, Trey would be there to provide some much needed joy. Thank you Trey and thank you Phish!
I’m so sad the beacon jams are over 😞 it was SO wonderful to have something to look forward to for 8 weeks after a horrible year of no music. Hearing Trey talk about his relationship with Fishman made me tear up 😔
I seem to remember Trey suggesting that Phish is being saved for in-person audiences. Maybe NYE 2021?.. We've been blessed with many years of their activity, let's try to be patient lol
Thank you Beacon Theatre, and everyone at MSG for letting Trey shine as he does so well. Those shows were an absolute treat for all of us craving live music and missing his performances. Next time I see him live after all of this, I will cry every tear of joy inside of me. ✌️❤️
Cryin Cryin Cryin here in my room in Brazil. I miss NEW YORK CITY! Thank you Trey for once again reminding me what love is -- so glad I don't have to wait until it's gone to know....
I've seen a lot of live shows by a lot of people over the years, and i never would have thought that a streamed live concert could be as good as at the "real" live experience. Turns out it can and these beacon shows are among the best i have seen in my life.
i would like to thank every one who made that possible from the deepest of my heart! it allow me and family and friends to connect while beeing isolate and away... to have a beacon light up every week... its easy to loss track of time when everything is quarantine and there is no special event that remind which time of the week we are it have beeing a blessing for my mental health and my family as well a breath of fresh air THANK YOU PS: a special thank to Trey for beeing my inspiration to play electric guitar when my friends made me discover PHISH when i was 15 (in 2005) it was the time you went tru your struggles and iam so glad of all the work you did on yourself
Absolute legend Trey is. The rescue Squad stuff and Jeff Tanski contributions where incredible. Also the Beacon jams were an illustration of what a great song writer trey is. He doesn't get close to enough credit for how good his songs are - new and old.
Those 8 weeks were the bright lining in this horrible year. Seeing that UA-cam notification pop up then coming home after working every Friday and knowing a new incredible jam was awaiting brought hope. The jams were just sublime. Hopeful for an album release with proceeds going to DividedSky fund. Great idea and cause!
I've been to multiple rehab centers since I was in my late teens. Good ones, bad ones and they all don't do it right. This is an incredible idea and hope it's unique to all the rest of them. 🙏🤘
Great video. Wished we got a bit of insight into the "28 Days Later" bit. One of my favorite moments from the series. Awesome piece, thanks for sharing.
Thank you to all those involved with making the Beacon Jams happen. It was an absolute highlight to an otherwise dismal 2020 for so many of us. The residual effects of the funds raised will be felt for generations as people will be able to reclaim their lives through the treatment facility that was funded though this event. Trey Anastasio is truly the best.
Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU. Once again, our lives were saved by rock and roll. Could not be more eternally grateful than I am now for Trey, The Beacon Jams, Phish, the whole thing. Stay safe and healthy everybody and see you back on lot some day.
Huge fan of Trey here. I've been an admirer of his for almost 25 years. Man, it's depressing seeing him in the full grip of covid hysteria, masked and not questioning anything.
I can’t say enough about how much these shows helped me mentally. I live for live music, especially Phish. And this last musicless year has been the worst. Thank you Trey and everyone else involved.
Wow, Trey. It was really cool of you to open up in this video, especially about you getting through the tough times with help from others. Now, you are paying it forward in a BIG way. You should come play that one-Alaska-song up here for your friends in ALASKA sometime....maybe even in the winter??? You could invite your friends to play up here, too.
There are not many humans better than Trey. A thousand thank yous
He’s really grown up into something special
WWTD?
Yeah he has clothed and fed so many needy people.

I love this man.
Tough to find another human who has brought more joy to my life.
They definitely have brought a ton of joy to so many peoples lives over the years.
I’ve had the same thought.
I'll always feel bad for people that don't get it...my life is so enriched by this
I started crying at the prospect of Trey wanting to die before Fish because musically he could never have someone he is so in sync with.
That was rough to listen to/think about.
These guys...just SO much talent and giving.
Samsies
Really tearing up here
My eyes welled up at that, too.
Tens of thousands of years and we're lucky enough to share this sliver of time with Trey, and Trey with Fish, Page, Mike. Praise be! 🙌🙏

A beacon of light, in a world of fright. Nice!
Gotta admit, when he talked about his relationship with Fish, I got misty. I hope I go before THEY go.....
When I go I hope I'm listening to GOTF from Beacon Jams
@@thomassnow6383Sand>QT from Cypress for me.

When Trey talks about his connection to Fishman. Amazing!

@@gophishn I’m not crying, you’re crying!
I cried. 100 %
@@Possum_J same, he basically said he wanted to die instead of never being able to play with fishman again. Wow.
YOU ARE A BEACON TREY. PLEASE DONT EVER STOP SHINING YOUR LIGHT UPON US!!!
This run was absolutely incredible. I'm being greedy - but can we get Phish next???
I seem to remember Trey suggesting that Phish is being saved for in-person audiences. Maybe NYE 2021?.. We've been blessed with many years of their activity, let's try to be patient lol
The man is a national treasure.
Unreal how blessed we are to have, of allll the musicians in the country, Trey do something like this for us! Dancing in a dream together ✌🏼
Trey Anastasio has been my beacon since 1992. I am so grateful to be on this earth at the same time as the Phish from Vermont!💙✨🙌
Amazing how Trey turned this pandemic situation into an opportunity to spread the LOVE needed in theses times, THANK YOU!
Beacon jams saved my life . Been sober since October 30 2020. This music is very special to me .
Tanski hits the nail on the head in that first interview with him.
Thank you Beacon Theatre, and everyone at MSG for letting Trey shine as he does so well. Those shows were an absolute treat for all of us craving live music and missing his performances. Next time I see him live after all of this, I will cry every tear of joy inside of me. ✌️❤️
Thank you Beacon Theater and thank you Trey. Those 8 weeks were very helpful during these unprecedented times.
Love this dude so much he feels like family.

Great coda for an incredible 8 week event. Trey is a hero in so many ways.
I don't like hearing Trey talk about his mortality. His love for Fishman is great to see though. Great moment.
I love seeing Fish with long hair and a shaggy beard again.
Stop making me cry Trey !
