That's the thing you're learning now. This motors are amazing! I'm so in love with my CJ! I have a 180F thermostat headed here for when I swap out the injection pump to the mechanical pump. I think it'll be fine since you're running 188F on yours. So glad you got it working. So happy for you.
That laugh was over 3 years in the making. So many struggles and so many times I had to just preserver through obstacles to get to this point, I know I sound like a madman but I feel nothing but pure joy right now at what I have built!
I actually forgot it put 2 low in the transfer case! I need to go check it and make sure I can get into 4 lo now that you mentioned it. I haven't used it much off road yet, and when I do it's just with 4 Hi.
Grant, I'm so glad you fix them transmission issue! Make sure you get your daughter a Mocha Latte (or whatever her drink of choice is). It's so cool to see the old Jeep running around, but the motor noise was strange, I kept expecting to hear a 4.0 not your little turbo diesel.
Thank you so much Forest! I need to get her a Latte your right. As for the noise, the diesel rattle doesn't get me, however the noise of the turbo still confuses me!
@@RustyAutoholicGuy you'll get used to the turbo quick! But now looking at video of a TJ, I keep expecting to hear the 4.0, it's like my brain is expecting a certain sound to a specific vehicle. I'm sure you're going to get fantastic fuel mileage out of that configuration.
I sure hope so and I'll figure out the fuel economy soon enough, there are a few things I still need to adjust and tune before I start doing some fuel economy tests with this TJ!

These motors really are amazing and thank you so much for all the help as well over the last couple of months as well!
Nice build! Have you calculated the MPG?
Success! Hard work finally pays off!
Thank you and yes it does! I'm just so relieved that I got that figured out and it's really thank you to my daughter was well.
Congrats. :) It's been a long time coming.
Awesome news! Call me when you want to make a bigger trip. Haven’t heard from you in a while
Will do! It's been a bit crazy but I'll call you this week!
That laugh of conquering a major pita!

How do you like the 2 low transfer case?
