Hello, cool vid. I’m working on changing my 2000XL to this Gotek. Reading the comments and seeing as the thorough technical options offered do you care to comment is the Akai OS 1.7 not right? Or is it because Gotek changed the hardware recently? If you search here on UA-cam it’s not MPC install related but they seemed to have switched out a chip that disrupts the previous operations for this who use this emulator. Seems though a fair amount of people are upset about this reconfiguration, could this be why so many are having trouble with the install? Please help I need a solution to fix zip drive and this flip seems the easiest….
how to change floppy on windows when i put the stik in computer its only starts with 000 but want to drop files on 001 and other disks

Does installing this fix a disk read error? I replaced the floppy with another and still had the error. It also asks for a 1.0 os and my disk says 1.5
I never got my gotek to work with my MPC60, it lights up but the MPC does not see that it’s there. It came with my Mpc when I bought it. Is this because of the jumper removal/assignment?

,a Thanks for the installation video. When I installed my Gotek, I changed the jumper over to the first pins, and when I put it back together, formatted the usb, put the pertains system on, it did not recognise the floppy on SCSI 5. When I took it back apart and changed it to the second pins it worked. Can you explain the pins please and what hey do? Thanks
