Did you start your locs with braids and you want to interlock for maintenance? Or are you asking if you should start with interlocking the entire strand instead of doing braidlocs?

How soon can you use rose water or water on your locs after first establishment?
You can use it right away as long it's just Rose water and it doesn't include other ingredients like glycerin, oils, etc

I wouldn't recommend it. It's possible but difficult to me
I wanted to gift one to my loctician but the price is steep
