thanks mate, outer tubes point perpendicular is where i fished in this video can be very good fishing in the right conditions and currarong can be good off a few of the rocks around there
Unfortunately I do feel like you need to fish the tubes at the right times of year summer especially as the other seasons I’ve never really had much success there. There are big fish but nearly everyone goes there to the outer tubes so therefore the spot is a lucky dip you can get something big or your gonna get nothing at all .
It all depends on what you would like to catch I was running a mix of light to heavy to see what I could catch I had reels from 4500 up to 14000 this weekend but if I went back there I think I’d just take heavier gear, there would probably be guys there atm doing a bit of game fishing

How do you get to the point where you guys are fishing at?
You go up to the lighthouse car park follow the trail there right down to the end an walk down the stairs an you’ll be there mate, hope this helps

Nahh it’s not very dangerous an if the conditions are good on the day you will be fine
