Bro i respect how you dont try to be some character of what people think an inmate should be. You just be yourself and i respect the hell out of it.
I was in prison in Tennessee, they had zero cameras in the units. It was a scary experience. Four people were murdered in a seven month period. One in my unit. An absolute nightmare, that I thank God every day for delivering me from there.
When I worked at Calhoun State prison in Georgia it was crazy. The shakedown would take most of the day. And yes we cut the water off.

I live in GA and it’s steadily on the news of CO’s getting arrested for bringing in contraband. They just got 3 or 4 female CO’s bringing in weed and phones.
I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love the videos. Having the insider knowledge along side prison docos is unique and fantastic.
Also, I know it’s probably not what you’re going for but you come across as a really sweet & funny guy. You don’t try to act tough like a lot of the others and it’s so refreshing.

Did bout year in county. Took me almost 2 to break habit walking with hamds behind back. If u see someone doing tht. Good chance theyve been locked down
I seen a guy get beat up by another guy, and then take a towel or shirt and start cleaning up the dudes cuts like he was a friend lol I didn’t realize he was cleaning him up so the guards didn’t see him all fucked up. Was just weird to see this guy take off on this other guy and then start putting pressure on the dudes eye and wiping the blood off his face lol
We got the worst prisons in the states here in Georgia.
A few here in West Virginia can compare unfortunately. One near Beckley Wv is horrible and is always on the news with deaths. South West Regional I think its called.

Female CO came up to the shower one time before you go to your cell block she saw me with a bunch of contraband like I would've been in serious trouble ,I knew her from past county bids thank God she didn't tell like I was caught red handed, she's a captain now THX FOR NOT SNITCHING

In Ga prison they have the option to give an additional charge carrying up to 5yrs for the first offense. For a cell phone.

Man. The FLORIDA prison system is soooooooo much different than the rest of the nation. I did 19 months in the FLDOC. We really just kicked it and everyone got long with the occasional ass whooping. Like ZERO gang activity and I was at FSP West Unit. FYI… Lots of ppl got lethal injection during my 19 month stay there, even though we were an annex. Doing time at FSP is terrible and I will never forget any of it. I am FREE today and doing good in life.

I just left this place in march crazy how accurate and inaccurate you are. GA prisons are a different level. Understaffed and overcrowded.

In about 09 to 2010 I lived and worked near here and my coworker knew of an inmate this facility whom had been locked up some time in the 1990s for killing someone while they were drunk driving. Judge only gave the intoxicated driver like 5 or 6 yrs to serve in the 90s but the family of the victim(s) live nearby to where the prison is at and since they never forget.....the relatives of the deceased make sure to show up to his prisoner parole board hearing every couple years when he comes up for parole after serving twice the time the courts handed down to him. Still continually petition the judge that he not be released/ long after scheduled out date.

I dont know this was 09 or 10. I haven't talked to them since then.
That doesn't even make sense. You don't get parole when you serve your full sentence. If you are sentenced to 5 you do 5 minus whatever goodtime you may have accrued and plus whatever charges you may have caught while in there. But you don't go before the parole board after your sentence has been served. Parole is to get out earlier than your original release date. The family can show up and do whatever song and dance they like, but if you sentence is up, it is up, nothing they can do about it.

My first night in was in open dorm bunks in middle and with 2 man cell outside walls. I waz in a cell with like 5 or 6 other people and somebody was tattooing. Cos stsrted comin dude said here you needa take this. I tokd him no ur problem he forced it into my stomache i took it from him. Threw it back at his face wally mopped him one hard time center face. Legs buckled he dropped. I walked out as co was few cells down. He went in there found dude busted.lip and nose and with machine. Only had one more violent issue after tht. But i didnt even have to handle it 😅

I’m waiting for that call from the DA sayin he ready for the smoke sesh, and my PD dropped me after 3 years. I’m lost and have no idea what to expect, I’m facing years on some BS charges hat are way more severe than it should be (the officer told me to my face he would find any and everything to charge me with to the “fullest extent” I’m sorry if this comment is kinda random and unorganized,

What they do is get straw broom and they put vaseline on the broom and just go around wiping the vaseline on all the cameras that they can't go back and look to see what happened because the vaseline makes the camera blurry..

If the shanks they find in the trash are evidence of a crime, why are they handling it without gloves and not fingerprinting them? It would seem that even if they find nothing the majority of times they dust for fingerprints, there would still be the advantages of deterrence and catching the occassional slip-ups. I'm not saying I know better than the prison staff, I'm actually just curious. Whatever the answer is, it would be really interesting.
I’m not 100% certain about this but I would say it’s because fingerprint lab work is very expensive and there not wasting all that money on something like that which is Pilsner prove much because they could say “I saw it in the trash so I picked it up and put it back.” It’s pretty wasted money and time. For prison at least.
