Hii .. I Was Using pads on glass to remove water spots.. what is the best methods to remove water spots .. Pads ya Clothes .. if pads which one is best for it in pads
This is my first chemical guys product and I have to say that it works wonders. I thought my glass was done for I’d tried every product on the market. This was the only one that did the trick. Thanks guys!
Real deal. Just bought a 2022 charger covered in Hawaii water spots. I’m not an experienced retailer at all. Tried it once - so so. Tried it again, this time properly working it into the paint and yrs - wow really does the job. Recommended
I just used the product on my 2023 Toyota Camry. My whole car was covered with water spots from not using soft water. This product is amazing. I was skeptical about being able to remove the water spots. AMAZING PRODUCT! WORKS PERFECT.
It's a good product, however you should always prefoam, rinse, refoam, gently rub with microfiber mits, rinse, dry, and then use this product to remove any water spots. Using the washless wash directly on the dirty car and then wiping/scrubbing, especially on a black car WILL cause scratches.
Just bought a used Lexus and when I got home I found those water spots glaring at me since the car wash on the way home apparently did nothing. Picked this up today and to my surprise it worked. There still some feint ones if you look really close but for now I'm happy with the results.
Just used it on the car bonnet. Wonderful product. Tried applying on my night package trim on the window seals...but unfortunately doesn't seems to work.
The heavy duty orange works very well. DO NOT leave it on paint or glass longer than a minute. (It will streak glass or stain light color paint.) Always test small areas first.
If I have water spots underneath a wax, can I simply use this product directly on the effected area, then reapply the wax after the water spots have been removed?
will this product work on 10 years of water spots from a sprinkler system hitting a glass door? The spot are etched in and I have tried buffing them out but you can still some of the areas.
Hello I used this product and I'm not sure if I used it properly. It has left faint white streaks or streak lines. What would you recommend to remove the spots?
Hey! Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover has a shelf-life of several years when stored in a cool, dry area that is out of direct sunlight. Periodically shake and inspect the product.
i bought a used truck that was neglected with water spots and baked on in the Texas sun for who knows how many years. I tried everything on the glass and on the paint. This was the only product that removed it immediately and effortlessly. My only question is if I can use it on the black plastic trim parts. I haven't attempted to do so yet.
Yes it is. Think of the paint/protection as layers. The ceramic coat is on the paint, and then the water spots are on the ceramic coat. As long as the ceramic coat is a decent quality, and was applied correctly, then this product won't damage it. Also, remember that ceramic coating is not the end all be all protection for your paint. It it one of many options. I highly recommend layering your protection. Even with ceramic it is good to top coat with another wax, such as carnuba wax.
So I purchased this before I saw the video I have stubborn water spots on my black plastic foot steps for the truck what do you recommend to remove those spots if I can’t use this product?
OK got a "?" for the experts.... Just used this stuff... And IT WORKS !!!!!! I also use the Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer spray to clean off the Water Spot remover Here is the problem.... I'm killing my arms trying to get this stuff off... granted when it comes off the car looks perfect But is the Waterless Wash better to use than the Synthetic Detailer ? T.Y.I.A.
This product had no effect on the black roof of my Mazda MX5. I tried multiple applications with zero effect. In the end I had to polish the water spots out with buffing compound and a polishing pad mounted in a cordless drill. They were stubborn spots!
It’s a good product, especially on glass, but it is very acidic. It’s aggressive, if you use it on a vehicle with a coating it will lessen the life if not remove the protective coat.
Is there any way you could make this a clear product or just less-orange? I used this on a white car the other week and the orange gel stained the car, even alcohol wouldn't remove it, I had to polish it out which was disappointing Edit: It does seem effective on water spots though I will give it credit for that

Not a huge fan of any waterless wash. Just saying. I’d rather rid the vehicle of dirt, dust and debris beforehand.

i was a bit skeptical but it actually surpassed my satisfaction level on the first try! amazing in performance!
Just used it on the car bonnet. Wonderful product. Tried applying on my night package trim on the window seals...but unfortunately doesn't seems to work.
I tried the product on my car but it didn’t work. I followed the instructions as you show. Only thing is, I can’t feel the water spots. What do I do?
This stuff is great but my god is it hard to work with. Getting off glass is a nightmare
Use a buffer
Yup I can attest that this product actually works. I'll probably use it once a year just to maintain the upkeep of my glass.
Wow .. Thanks for the demo. I will be trying this out on my car and hope it works as well as it did on that car.
Happy detailing!

@@mojojoji5493 thanks for the heads up!

Clay bar it first
Anything for water spots on glass
They did a video in the past to use same product to cleanup water spots on glass as well
Hey! The same process can be used for removing water spots from glass.
Plastic too ?
@@JohnnyReno71did you even listen to the video? 😂
@@smcarmel I heard tape off plastic but I’m wanting to know how to get them off of plastic.

Thanks so much for the awesome feedback!!
Can i neutralize it with just normal water?
Absolutely!
This product had no effect on the black roof of my Mazda MX5. I tried multiple applications with zero effect. In the end I had to polish the water spots out with buffing compound and a polishing pad mounted in a cordless drill. They were stubborn spots!
Hey! For etched water spots and stains, machine polishing is required.
Can i just wash my entire roof with this product then just pressure wash it off?
Hey! Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is designed to be worked into the paint before being neutralized and rinsed away.
It’s a good product, especially on glass, but it is very acidic. It’s aggressive, if you use it on a vehicle with a coating it will lessen the life if not remove the protective coat.
It work well with my Tesla Model Y (White) it remove other stuff. Since i parked my car near trees.

Can I use this on matte PPF like xpel stealth or will it leave a shiny appearance?
Hey! Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is not intended for use on matte finishes.
