So many beautiful things, you have been busy! I really loved the Primrose Cottage charts, looking forward to stitching those as well, their bee designs are some of my favorites!
Your houses from Cottage Garden Samplings are wonderful. I don't know how you keep,up with all your monthly goals. I can't even stay committed to a 30 minutes a day goal. I don't like switching projects much in one single day.😊 Congratulations on your retirement!!!❤ I hope you have a blast on your Alaska tour, also. May the Lord bless your retirement years with good health, happy family time, and many hours of stitching. 😊
Congratulations on your retirement! That is exciting and it hopefully means a bit more time to stitch! It is so much fun to watch your videos! The amount and variety of projects that you work on is truly amazing and such a joy to watch! 😊.
What a fun dive into your projects! I was so excited to see your "Summer" by Sara as I JUST bought my first two charts of hers! I have admired them for years and am so excited to start one- SOON! Thanks for the inspiration. I always enjoy your visits. 🤗🪡
You stitch so many lovely patterns. I love your variety of patterns, materials, threads, etc. You stitch so many things now I can only imagine how many you will do once you retire. Love watching your floss tube.
Love the variety of your projects! And I´m so happy I found the Olympic Gnomes through you! I have planned my own challenges for every day of the Olympics already and the Gnomes will be the official Olympic project on top. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Congrats on retirement, and have a fantastic trip! I had a knee replacement right after my retirement, then 4 more different surgeries every 4 months thereafter. Yours is a much better plan! (Arthritis is no joke.) Love to see your stitching.
@@Handworkmaniac all recovered from those 2-3 years ago, but just had a knuckle replacement on my right hand almost 3 weeks ago. Another few weeks of rehab. I’m living vicariously thru Flosstube and purchasing way too much! 😉
Love all your projects and WIPS! It is a pleasure to view every one of your videos. That light blue fabric is perfect as you say with the pale greens on The Snow Day ! I love the Jardin Prive Olympic Gnomes pattern is so cute. Nice find getting those 2 Living Ocean charts and charms!! The Faery Square is looking great. Looks like a fun stitch! Have a great stitchy week or two ahead! Cheers! 🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦👋
Awesome video! Your finishes and WIPS are gorgeous!!! Congratulations on your retirement and have a wonderful safe trip to Alaska. I was there about 32 yrs ago for 2 1/2 weeks and the scenery was breathtaking. Happy stitching, Lynn

I loved Elsa Williams. I have her crewel designs. I went to her needlework school in Massachusetts. Winslow Homer’s home. She bought it and made a Needlework School out of it. It was gorgeous.
It was so wonderful to see you again!! Stayed up waaay past my bedtime just to visit with you! So happy to hear About your retirement plans. The Olympic gnomes are really cute! All of your goodies from the retreats are so fun. Stitching IS my full-time job since I have retired and I love it. Enjoy!!
Thank You Desiree! So sorry to keep you up so late, lol!!! So happy to hear that someone else is stitching as their full-time retirement job, I want to do the same thing! Love it!
Oh my, what a blessed weekend. Both my favourite flosstubers have posted - that would be you and LaLaD (who has just moved to Utah) - I am truly spoilt. 😊 You have done a prodigious amount of gorgeous stitching. I'm also somewhat distracted by your previous finishes behind you, especially the Angel of Love and the mandala. 😊 PS I'm totally obsessed with Primrose Cottage's bees so now I will have to hurry up and wait for those new patterns.
Just beautiful progress on both finished pieces and wips. Retreats looked so fun. New starts are really pretty. I hope you enjoy retirement as much as I do. It's great to wake up every day and stitch away for as long as I can. Alaska in Aug is a beautiful time to cruise. Happy stitching! ❤
I just found your channel and loved it. I have been wanting to do that Jeannette Douglas Matter in Hand piece and I am going to Stitch West for the first time! So I plan to join your Sal. Also I am going to my first StitchCon, weekend B, as well, so hope to meet you! Congratulations on retirement!
I just love the diversity of the projects you stitch, Brenda. They’re all so beautiful. I was so happy to meet you at Stitch West Spring. Thank you for indulging a fan girl moment and taking a photo with me. 😊❤
Love your stitching & love your videos. I especially like that you show the pattern for a length of time I can really see it. So many show the pattern piece picture for barely a few seconds & then show their stitching which is sometimes only a few square inches, always hoping they will show the pattern again. So, thank you. BTW, my last day of work was Aug 1, 2012. Have been stitching sometimes 6, 8, 10 & even more than 12 hours a day. Some days I don't stitch at all. It is wonderful to really want to stitch & have the time to do it. Many thanks for showing me your stitching. 👀👀
Brenda your portrait of Christ piece is just Stunning.Wow the face!Congrats on retirement that will be so fun for you.I saw you at the retreat in Ogden from afar but it’s so crazy to talk with people. Wish there was ways we could intermingle more 😅Fun crazy couple days. you will Love Alaska each place you come to is more gorgeous than the last. It’s a stunning cruise.Take care 💚
Hi Brenda! It’s always great to watch your videos! Love seeing all your projects! Having recently attended my first cross stitch retreat, I get it now! All the goodies, the swag, the haul, the fun!
I'm glad I found your channel. I've so enjoyed your stitching. I live in Utah also, 20 mins south of salt lake. Thank you for sharing about stitching express, I miss craft center and will have to give it a try. You mentioned you were doing a pattern by Sara Guermani I am looking for one of hers I saw Sorpresai 1/Surprise 1 I was just wondering where you found it. Thank you Keep stitching Kim
Thank You Kim! Happy to hear from another Utah stitcher :) I found that Sara G pattern at the Stitcher's Paradise store in Las Vegas, Nevada. I know 123stitch.com has some of her patterns as well :)
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RETIREMENT! Me too, I retired March 2023. When I told all my friends I was retiring, they all said "oh you'll be bored!". Well, it's been a year. I'm still waiting to be bored. Got lots of stitching done. Started many new hobbies. Happy stitching!
Lovely to see you Brenda, glad you’ve been having some great stitching adventures. Can’t wait to see what you get up to and how much more stitching (you already do so much) you get done when you are retired.🎉
So many gorgeous projects - your video is a feast for my creative soul! I loved hearing about your retreats! I was sad when the episode was over and can't wait for the next one!
Love your video, Brenda. You stitch such a variety of projects and designers. Jardin Prive sure has come out with some great projects. I would love someday to stitch the birdhouses.
Wow your hair looks awesome same as your work on books. Just love it. I would love to get the kit. Thinking about it. I am still loving Lost no more. Really just want the pattern but no luck. Take care. Did miss your video glad your back

So great to see you Kim & what you have been stitching on! So excited for you & your retirement! It is great. I am doing just what you are planning!❤ Thank you for sharing all your adventures.
Hello Brenda, so glad to visit with you again it was soooo long since your last video. Lots of lovely WIPs. You do such lovely work. Time will fly to retirement. All that lovely extra stitching time... delicious! Have a great stitchy week.
I so look forward to your videos. I love the books pattern. You're moving along on that! And, I think I have to do the Olympic Gnomes!! It so cute! I love the Olympics too!
Always love your videos. Thank you. I did check a couple of times in the past month to see if there was a new one. I assumed you'd be very busy getting ready for retirement. Wishing you the very best.
You must be a fast stitcher!!! The work that you do is wonderful. It it inspires me to do bigger projects. Took some notes on patterns. Thank you for the awesome video.
Yay, Brenda's got a new Flosstube! Always love it when your new videos pop up❤❤ i have Matter in Hand started and I'll stitch along with you. congrats on your upcoming retirement. So will there be more flosstubes?😉 I need to get my Spring Montage back out after Stitch Maynia. Happy Stitching!!❤
Hi Beth!!!!! Yay, so glad you will join us on Matter in Hand :) LOL, I am really hoping it will mean more flosstubes, and more stitching! :) Love you videos! Thank You!
such a wonderful video. Just made my Saturday shine. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful stitchings. Your finishes & WIPs are lovely. I simply love Rika’s bags. I have too many! Like you said, so wonderful to fit all you need for your project. Thank you so very much for sharing. Happy stitching. ❤️🌻👍🏼
Always enjoy seeing your projects. When you are doing a project with 1 thread full cross, but have the blended threads that you are doing 2 threads half cross, do you do your half cross in the direction of your 1st or 2nd leg of a full cross? Hope that makes sense.
Thank You!! Well, I know that you are supposed to do them in the direction that matches the top leg of all the other full crosses around them. Then they all match. And I do that on some projects. But then on other projects I just do them the same way that I usually do my first leg of my full crosses, because that is what I do when I am not thinking about it, lol. My brain just goes on automatic, lol!!
Brenda, I admire your beautiful stitching, all the different patterns and fabrics are just wonderful. I'm excited about a couple of your new projects. Congratulations, too, on your retirement; you will love being retired!
I enjoy your videos very much. Lots of stitching inspiration, which I love.I know you will enjoy your retirement as much as I do: stitching as much as you want ,whenever you want:) Take care and continued happy stitching.
Welcome back! I thought I had missed a floss tube but I didn’t! Thank goodness! I love all your WIPs! Question - are you using silk threads on Kingdom of Book? They are so shiny and beautiful! The retreat sound wonderful! So glad you were able to go!
Thank You Dee!! No, Kingdom of Books is just cotton kit thread. It is the detailed shading that makes it look shiny :) Fabulous charting by the company :)
Do you grid your fabric on the big projects? And do you hand dye your fabric to get the desired effect? Any suggestions on how to dye fabric to look like blue sky and white puffy clouds? And thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them. 😊
Hi Donna! I only grid my fabric on large HAED-type full-coverage designs (with a disappearing marker). But I do always make a working copy of the chart and I use a highlighter to mark what I have stitched so I can keep my place. I have dyed a few pieces of fabric, but I don't know how to make those white puffy clouds on blue, I have wondered how they do that myself :)
I'm so happy you are back❤ with your beautiful cross stitch. And I have Matter of hand pattern and the floss so I will be happy if could join to the SAL. Grettings from Poland.
How many hours a day do you stitch? Do you work or have a family at home? When/how do you find the time to do all this work? What method do you stitch in?
Hi Cynthia! I do work full time as an admin secretary at a public Jr High. But my children are all grown and gone and my husband has a day job as well as his own business that he runs on nights and weekends. So once I get home from work I can pretty much choose how to spend my time. I stitch 4-5 hours after work on week days. 8-10 hours on Saturdays after I do my chores in the morning. And 6-8 hours on Sunday in between Church and time with extended family. Stitching truly is my happy place :) I am a one-handed stitched (poke and stab), but I do keep my left hand under the stitching all the time to help guide the needle a little.
Hello from a new subscriber in Canada. WOW, that bookshelf is looking great! Love the Halloween piece also....oh, and I can go on and on about them all! Your taste is very similar to mine. I bought a few Vivsters patterns, but havent' started one yet. Same goes for Carolyn Manning. I really love the one you started
Hi Vicki! Yes, I am, just don't get it out very often, lol. 1 strand of DMC on 40 ct linen sometimes feels too light to me as well. I much prefer 46ct. But I bet yours is gorgeous!!!!!
Just discovered you ❤️. I’m also stitching the “book” 3 year kit (😂). Are you willing to share the English translation on the books? Is really appreciate it. Thanks to you and to Mary.
Thank You Marilyn, and welcome! We should just start calling it the 3 year kit, lol!! I bet yours is gorgeous :) I am happy to share the translation! Just email me at AdnerbYakJ@gmail.com.
Brenda, I always sooo enjoy your videos. I've already piggybacked on several on your pieces :D I just had to have the Faery Square right away :) I'm really interested in your color conversion on that. Would it be possible for you to share yours? Could I maybe write you an email?

Thank You Jacqueline!
So many great projects!
Thank You Diane!
Love all of your Finishes and WIPS - Beautiful Stitching. You stitched on a lot of them.

Thank You Geri!! Sounds like we have both have good taste, lol!! And welcome!!!
❤❤❤
Thank You Milka!

Thank You Amy!
Retirement is the best. Enjoy.
Thank You Jacqueline! I can't wait! :)
Are you still working on Zimmerman Coverlet. I am working it on 40 count 1 over 2 but feels too light coverage.
Hi Vicki! Yes, I am, just don't get it out very often, lol. 1 strand of DMC on 40 ct linen sometimes feels too light to me as well. I much prefer 46ct. But I bet yours is gorgeous!!!!!
YOUR BOOKS 📚 ARE A WOW WE !!!!!❤🎉 BEAUTIFUL
Thank You Genevieve!
Behind your left shoulder er. Is the lady a Mirabelia.
Hi Sharon! It is "Angel of Love" by Lavender and Lace. But very similar to a Mirabilia :)
Good morning, I am going to stitch the Kingdom of Books and was wondering if you would share the English translation?
Hi Megan! So glad you will be stitching it as well! Just email me at AdnerbYakJ@gmail.com and I will send you the translation I have.
"over the nestboxes' en englais.
Thank You Janice!
Hi Marianne!! Yes, I would totally be happy to share my conversion. Email me at AdnerbYakJ@gmail.com and I will send you a picture of my floss page :)
Thank You!
Can you please do a stitch with me
As soon as I retire I will work on a set up for that :)
So many fabulous projects!
Thank You Leslie!
