GT500 Tire Issue at Virginia International Raceway

July 7th, 2019 - First session of Day 2 with my 2014 GT500 at the 2019 SVT Superfest with the SVT Cobra Mustang Club. This was to be my 4th day ever on track at VIR and I was ready to start pushing the car more. But a strange noise that started the prior day returned and got worse as I heated up the tires. I eventually determined my tires were shot. I was debating mounting a new set of tires before this event, but decided to take a chance and that ended up being a bad decision.
