Glad you are the type of content creator that listens to his fans. I requested the comparison between big brother and little brother! I ended up getting something else since Sony took almost a year to finally release the phone they announced in April 2021. They're selling at prices to compete with the leader brands of smartphones but they cannot keep up with demand!
Love the 5 lineup from Sony!! Xperia really improved over the last few years

I totally agree with your main points, I rock the 5 II and I am very happy with it but marketing, pricing and especially the speed of the phone's release must be fixed by Sony 💯
Sony maybe need to fix their issues with Heat/Thermal and maybe their Marketing Strategy

This is like S21 FE. Way too late in the game. Especially we already see phones with the Snapdragon Gen 1. As much as I love Sony, they really need to step up with software upgrades and release dates (specific dates not spring or summer of whatever year). There's no transparency.

I liked watching your review and not only because i am a sony fan haha you do show us a lot and also a nice comparison at the end. just some feedback on your presentation skills your sentences and sound sound a bit boring haha. try to talk with more enthusiasm and play a bit with sound pitches etc etc. i think you can win a lot from this. For the rest thanks for your review and keep it up ✌❤
Thanks for the feedback- yeah my voice is very monotone and I already cranked up the enthusiasm and pitch changes for this video (trust me if I didn't you'd fall asleep), but there is definitely still room for improvement. At the same time though I don't want to overdo it as that'd come across as annoying and fake, but it's good to get some feedback for next time.

Right now in Denmark you can get the this Sony 5 iii for around 670 euros (725 USD), that also includes the Sony WH-1000XM3. I'm really tempted to get it, now that my Oneplus 6T is slowly dying (mainly the battery life is going down). For that price, would people recommend this phone?

@@xRedEagleHD Gotta say, it's by far the best phone i have ever had. Love the camera so much, the battery life is amazing with a screen on time around 6-9 hours per day. There are some small problems with the software of the fingerprint scanner, but gotta say, love this phone. And have seen it for 470 euros some times. I would rather get the 5 iii than 5 IV, simply because of the camera system. I use the telephoto camera a lot, makes it so much fun to take photos 😁
@@martingodske3301 thats really good to hear, I could have gotten a sh 5 II for about 300e but instead i went for an almost new iphone 13 256gb for 700e and its truly amazing, still the 5 II rocks aswell

How can that be that your Xperia 5 III is on android 12 i far i know that android 12 update is curently only release in russia for both 1III and the 5III did you flash the russian version or did sony send you the phone for reviewing it beside that i have the 5 III since 3 month now .

@@PhoneBattles Hey today i got the android 12 update it is very stable update i did nt experience any bugs my 5 III is also updatet to android 12 you in the us will also get very soone the size of the update is about 1.2 gigabytes .

The main problem I had with the Xperia 1 II phone is when pushed, the main camera(s) overheated and needed to cool off before it can be used again.
Loved the form factor though.
Is that the same with the Xperia 5 iii?

Lol it does warm up some but it's never gotten that hot for me where I felt it was an issue.
The issue isn't with Sony when it comes to releasing phones, the issue is americas fixation with carriers that makes the it all more complicated compared to the rest of the world. So blame the carriers in the US instead for making it harder then it needs to be.
This is true, however all of the other major brands come out on time here (Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus). It is still up to Sony to work things out as far as consumers are concerned
