Thx, these combo moves are exactly what I needed to learn on my own 💪💪 please do more of simple combos to help us beginners get some flow going. Thx again
My favorite combo is "role" or "giro" to bencao, and then dive into a "queda de rins au batido do chao." (This is a kidney fall with legs in half split or quarter split, with the open legs making a bit of an "L" shape.)
"Bencao" means "blessing", and it borrows from the push-away defensive kicks seen in several other martial arts. Bencao is like the Muay Thai teep kick.

Call this question random if you must, but please don't let that distract you from the point. UA-cam "Pokemon Stadium 2 RARE SHINY GRAVELER" and "GRAVELER IS OP." Based on the way it flips in the videos, do you guys think Graveler has potential in capoeira? The reason I'm asking is I'm making a video about why Graveler should be a Rock/FIGHTING type Pokemon.
Taking a shot at this question as a non-caopeira expert and learning bits and pieces about this I can see a few points of interest that stand out right away. 1. Difficulty to use in narrow and tight spaces like hallways or cluttered rooms because of needing space to generate centrifugal force and power. It would be very easy to trip or get jammed especially if there are objects like chairs, rocks, etc. blocking your way. 2. Higher level of stamina to train and build the endurance to maintain the fluid motions versus fighting on your toes or feet. 3. Kicking essentially takes one or both feet off the ground and makes you more susceptible to being caught, thrown, slammed, etc. with training you can speed up your kicks but generally kicks are slower than punches so it is possible to be caught or jammed; the caveat with this style is the footwork and attack is very hard to predict, especially for an untrained eye so it may matter less. 4. Striking surface, probably not something you'll hear often but it may not be evident or clear for a beginner what part of the foot you should be striking with so you can create proper impact instead of breaks your toes. 5. Accuracy which if you miss your strike with your first kick/feint and second kick it seems you're quite exposed to being tackled. You have to really know your distance quite well which will take some time. 6. Surface- it's unlikely you would want to do this on slick surfaces or in the rain as it would greatly increase the difficulty of maintaining fluid footwork and kicking. Obviously I'm not here to bash the style as I believe it is great for developing your fast twitch muscles, agility, and coordination and other benefits I have yet to learn but it would likely take longer to weaponize this martial art than something like boxing or muay thai.
thanks for the slow-mo. it really helps to see every small detail like that
I just joined a kickboxing class and i intend to use elements of taekwondo, capoeira, and boxing, as my fighting style. thanks for the combos.

yo what are those ankle wraps you use?
Just to keep my pants off my feet, and the sweat
@@OfficialRAWTRICKS do they help reduce friction with the floor as well?
and ankle support?
Can you actually use Capoeira as a method of self defense?
I mean if you are REALLY good at it sure, but I think almost everyone would highly recommend something other than capoeira for self defense.
