wow i thought i was the only one who swoons over this piece
No. This piece has inspired MANY. Even instrumentalists.
I cannot overstate the importance of this piece.
Just look at how many people upload a new O Magnum Mysterium on YT everyday. We’re a group.
Lauridsen's O Nata Lux remains for me a beloved song that I can listen to at any point in my life, and just feel that beauty that helps me transcend any earthly situation.
I LOVE that song too. The way it just changes a mood when it begins.
My favorite modern piece together with Whitacre’s ‘Alleluia’.
Love this.
Keep up the good work Eric!
The piece demonstrated at the beginning... does anyone know what it is?
It's the very end of O Magnum Mysterium performed by the professional choir Polyphony, cond. Stephen Layton.
By Lauridsen, not Victoria.
