They are completely christian. Just because it's a different genre doesn't make it not christian music.
How does that bible excerpt even remotely relate to death metal? You do realize there are christian death metal bands. Impending Doom is one example. Secondly, like I care about your silly little book. For once, don't think that you need to "cleanse" the world and cleanse your own corrupt religion first. Hypocrisy and religion go hand in hand.

Hmmmm only carnifex is a shitcore band. Fear factory have strong death elements, Arsis are a melodic death band ( Their 2-3 first albums are landmarks in death metal...) Misery index are death/grind and fucking needs no one to show them what's death metal, revocation are an hybrid of too many genres, but not a single hint of deathcore. And they are far from shit, they are skilled musicians, look past their core looks and analyze the music. Chaos of forms is a superb album on all regards.

Melodic essentially means exactly that, with more catchy melodies. The "-core" would come from "Hardcore", a genre of Punk, meaning the "-core" bands derive their influence heavily from Punk bands.

except misery index, misery index is fucking awesome!
I remember not liking Arsis...but from the clips seen here they appeared the only band that played metal as I know it and love it, the rest appeared to be playing NWOAHM stuff...even misery index (Surprising considering they're made from ex Dying fetus members.)

The origin of the term is always a debate, though I believe you are indeed correct.

I know right, why lie? Because sooner or later your child is gonna one day grow up to be their own person and have their own children, so why not? I mean we're all gonna have sex when we might that some one, and it's not like the kid is gonna go and have sex so I don't see the problem with telling them. Besides kids and teens NEED to know about this stuff anyway, because of so many unwanted teenage pregnancies, they need to be taught sooner or later.

Have you read the book of Daniel from the bible, Daniel wrote thru the Holy spirit little known facts(!!!BEFORE THEY HAPPENED!!!) like the rise and fall of roman empire, greek empire, just little facts that prove that the bible was inspired by a being outside of time, nothing big. :) Jesus is your Judge :) , i cant wait until there is no more sin.
Burton C Bell got it completely right. And the kid is awesome - I didn't know bands that heavy existed when I was his age.
Regarding all this genre and subgenre, it is easier for the general public to see all screaming bands as 'death metal'. I'd rather they were called that than have some of them called thrash when thrash is a completely different genre. Though I do agree that Fear Factory are industrial.

Well... you see... after being fertilised (the specifics of which I won't mention) the female catches a mosquito to lay her eggs on. these eggs then hatch as the mosquito is feeding and the larvae enter the body at this bite area. the larvae then develop into mature specimens after about 8 weeks, and leave the body.
And that is where babies come from.

@Axegrinder90 okay i agree with you on almost everything here, except carnifex, i do not find them deathcore, they have a specific sounds that seperates them from every other deathcore band, they sure have some core influences but i'd call them Modern Death Metal

They aren't pussy band. Crankasuarus here is just not into this type of metal. Matter of opinion. I mean they are famous for a reason. If a band really sucks they wouldn't be famous. :p
Its fuckn sad everyone has to dispute what sort of metal etc who cares just enjoy the vid. Its like listening to high end speakers, listen to the music, don't dissect the sound.

somebody help me out, what makes stuff melodic or -core? I thought core was added if the band has a lot of breakdowns and clean vox but I don't think that's the case
