I don't know if this is true but apparently at one moment during their break, Elaine burst into tears and rushed to the restroom and one of her team members had to calm her down. I have a feeling that AH's attorneys actually believed her when she approached them but as the trial went on, they probably realized that they were all lies and had to defend her for the sake of it.

The messed up thing is, the reading of the verdict was the only time this entire trial that she showed a semblance of real emotion. Even then, that emotion was more than likely the sinking realization that her life and career is over in every sense of the word. Even if somehow she was telling the truth the entire time, the way her "facts" were presented and the way she carried herself on the stand, ruined any sympathy or belief anyone had in her favor.

In all honesty, I feel like both of them need help, but the differences in them are that Johnny will readily admit to that and his issues generally impact him alone, whereas Amber refuses to do so, even after the verdict, and what she did impacted everyone around her, including her legal team, who struggled to present any substantial counters to the evidence and testimonies of Depp's team.

1. When the jury comes in, the attorneys flanking her, both turn to the jury, acknowledging them.
Heard doesn't. She keeps her head pointed in a different direction and her eyes looking away too.
My guess is she knew that they didn't believe her, and she is angry with them, and tries to show her distain by not acknowledging them -or their weeks and weeks of work.
2. Watch her chest heave with emotion while the answers to the questions are read out.
Focus on the chain where it comes together in a bunch - you can see her chest heavily rising and falling, and it getting stronger.
There's a first heaving when she sits down and hears the verdict is unanimous.
Then is reduces a bit as she "gets used" to that. But when each question is read out....she wrote it...malice intended...etc...her chest is really heaving wildly.
Apart from when she lost her temper at (the amazing) Ms Vasquez (and damaged her case even further), this is one of the few instances of real emotion she showed.
Heard's performance on the stand was ludicrous. And I say that as a left wing woman, who generally supports the ACLU, and who had an abusive marriage.

The jurors are normal people just like you & I. They probably saw how her constant stare at them was uncomfortable and annoying, her attorney, Elaine took up way too much unnecessary time from them, and the fact that AH didn’t have true pics of her injuries as she claimed happened, really did not sit well with these jurors…. Forget all rhetoric and legal bs, they are normal people just like us and they were tired of all the non sense !!
