I've been playing a different class each run on the quest to win 25 in a row and prove that this game is not lucked based and any run is winnable at 0 challenges.

Regarding Rat King, my strategy tend to first trigger Goo and lose aggro, then look around for rat king while possible. Saves you hunger. Also tend to map out some rooms first so I can (if possible) spot likely places for where he's hiding. And in some cases I just drink a mind vision potion just as I enter floor 6, I get to see where king is, and also some vital information for floor 6 as it can be really annoying to take on skeletons hands on.
At 20:52 you missed a good opportunity, could have done a bit more zapping in the room with your wand to find Rotberry.
At this point I'm convinced you'd be able to do an all challenge run somehow
yes 9 challenges are in the near future, getting a win with every class sounds like it'll take forever though.

is there a special way to use the crossbow. i keep getting it but it just ends up a melee weapon. am i missing something. lol
I think it is just a melee weapon, but it enhances the accuracy (& damage?) of thrown weapons. Someone here will no doubt give much better info.
It makes your darts do the crossbows damage instead of the usual dart damage which is 1 I think. So you throw the dart as usual but if you have the crossbow equipped it will do extra damage.
Awww that's poor. We should get a menu like the monk class or warrior class where if we have different types of darts or thrown weapons they can be broken down into bolts. Maybe in a future update. Alot of growth there.
@@theodorereid6129 yeah I agree it feels funny to throw the dart, I'd prefer to shoot the crossbow somehow.
@@runningfromcake yes a list with just 5 options would be great. And some type of recycling method for other thrown objects. Like break down a cube to turn into a few crossbow bolts with similar stats as a cube also can't use it unless the crossbow and player are at a certain lvl.
Haste+3 and bow=ez win.also no way you are not gonna use the noisemaker strat lmao
