16000 Hz 16 kHz Sine Wave Sound Frequency Tone

- UA-cam's stupid compression takes out anything above 16 kHz, so if you are hearing nothing at all, change the video quality to 720p.
===PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION===

If you want the video to be of a different length (default is 30 seconds) or any other things, then include that in the personal message. A high quality 30 second clip (or what length that you specified) should be on this channel within one day!

UA-cam not suported 16 khz, codec is dead up 15 khz ;)!
So this is really 15khz?
Anything under 1080, supports only to 15khz
this is what my tinnitus sounds like
it's so loud it's hurting my ears
I'm 39 and I can hear it irritatingly loud. Thanks to being an anti-social shut-in who never attended loud concerts or parties growing up, I have exceptionally good hearing for my age.
Any time you go to concerts or use power tools, always wear hearing protection!
You don't have to be anti-social to not ruin your hearing either
- just use hearing protection when needed. I can't get the people, who talk about having tinnitus after a concert or night club as a normal thing. If it's that loud, use earplugs ffs.
I also hear this frequency well at age 37.
As opposed to many others, I don't think these high frequencies is very annoying either (not worse than for example 2 kHz - something like for example a crying baby, is way more annoying than this). That has also lead to having some fun thru the years, by playing a high pitched tone or a "siren" from a portable speaker somewhere where there are many people around, like a workplace.
The sound drives some people nuts, while others ask them "what the hell are you talking about? I don't hear anything etc. What sound?" etc.
Happy 45th birthday 🎉
i only hear it at the beginning
ثاني
I can't hear it..
Me too
I can
I can't hear it but im only 20... Wtf
I experience the same thing, that it is loud at the beginning but weak later. I think it is because my ear and brain get used to it after 5 seconds or so. If I remove my headphone and put it back on while the audio is playing, I can hear it clearly again but just for another couple of seconds.
Edit: after I crank up the volume to 50% in windows, I can hear it all the time. Giving me a headache. This is real 16kHz audio.
I got Tinnitus in both ears so constant ringing non stop 24/7/365 for the past 20 years, I'm almost 43 now. I can hear this no problem over the Tinnitus ringing. It's kinda weird but my Tinnitus is just a higher pitch. I still don't understand why I haven't gone full crazy yet with Tinnitus but holy shit, it drives me crazy.
Every fucking tinnitus ever
Some people say that they can hear 19000 Hz on UA-cam... Yeah, no
Considering youtube only allows up to 17k feel free to call them f***ing liars.
I do
@@Twisted86 16 I think
What they hear is most likely distortion caused by the compression (even if the compression filters out the "real" sound, it can also cause "trash" to be generated at lower frequencies) or sample rate conversion using bad filters (if the original file has a different sample rate, than what UA-cam uses).
Exactly what my tinnitus sounds like
I just hear it at the beginning and then it's gone after less than a second
same
That isn't the noise. That is the speaker crackle as it tries to process the noise. It does that with almost all the high frequency sound things unless you have really good speakers. You are hearing the "pop" before it starts, not the actual noise.
THIS IS NOT 1600Hz. Closer to 17.8Khz ..! Which explains why I can't hear it. THIS IS NOT 16kHz
Well my headphones appear to not be able to play this frequency...
Or you’re old as fuck
how the fuck can people handle this
Hear it but weak. kinda like old tube tv that had that whine.
tastes like chicken, sort of.
I can hear it some what.
But i can also feel the vibration in my ear
The compression is cutting off all the frequencies above 15734 Hz...
I can hear it (:
liar liar, youre on fire!
16000 hz is more like G 9 because 16384 is C 10, and I hear it too.
@@noelbaars your ears are just damaged
UA-cam blocks certain frequencies, so around 16000 hertz and higher, UA-cam blocks it, unless someone can prove me wrong.
my head is about to explode
I hear buzzing
I turned my computer up to full volume and was able to hear it.
Ow.
It has nothing to do with the headphones you use. I can't even hear it on high quality studio headphones. Most people under 30 should be able to hear 16 kHz. You just can't hear it because of the way that UA-cam compresses sound.
It's for teens for age 12-15
BTW I can hear it clearly
UA-cam compressess all sounds above 13kHz and above 16kHz are barely unhearable. Its because youtube videos all are mp4 packaged.
I can hear it in my phone at 720p
YEAH
I can hear it and I'm 16.
My speakers are still good.
And so are my ears.
.... Though, my volume isn't set to be very loud, so it only sounds like an annoyance.
I can hear the burst at the beginning then its non existent. I blame my crappy earpods.
im using this sound for fly trap. Ty :)
I can hear 20khz but this video i dont hear
I couldn't hear it! ! ! ! ! ! !
HELP ME! ! ! !
I can't hear it (old 16)
Yeah put it on youtube. I think this really makes it really worth. Plus this isn't a siomple sine wave.
what? kill who?
Holy shit that hurts my ears
I hear it and I'm 35,
I must be a freak
I will be 60 in June, and I can hear it just fine.
Muy chillón wua
I have to turn it up to hear it, but I can.
DONT EVER PLAY THIS ON 720P!
Oh my ears!!!!!!
I CAN'T HEAR HELP ME
I can hear it..
i can hear it yeaahh
I can hear it
por favor puedes subir 16000 hz en onda cuadrada, gracias
Dizziness
15 can hear
tengo 18 y no lo escucho :'(
I hear it
I hear it when I put the volume high enough.
only 13-14 year olds and below are able to hear 16 kHz
no? it just depends on how damaged your hearing is
I hear high pitched sound on all video quality settings, although it might seem "dirtier" at lower quality setting.
That's indeed because at the lower quality setting, you don't hear the real tone, but just distortion caused by the compression. The real tone is filtered out, but the compression has also generated garbage at lower frequencies, which is still there even in the low quality setting.
I hear it the whole way through...
that’s the point? It’s not like it changes frequency..
I can not hear this, i am 17. but i can hear 15khz excellently. Weird.
My headphones can't play this. They make only a deep voice.
You can only hear it with headphones
Omg i put my headphone on the loudies and my ear like exploded
By the way you can only hear this if your less than 17 years old
LegendGaming__YT X 24 and I can hear it.
#MagiacalEarDrums
LegendGaming__YT X 😂
lol
I can hear 16 kHz, but I couldn't hear this. Then I confirmed with an SPL meter that there's nothing there. Either it was filtered out by UA-cam's transcoding (even at the 720p rendition) or this is a troll post.
I can hear it. Maybe your device was not good enough.
Definitely there. I hear a faint buzz.
It's there, all right. Makes the whole side of my face tense up.
it's really loud I can hear it clearly
I can hear it with headphones if I turn volume really up. Age 43.
theres no audio
+alexandersemen -_-....are you serious? There is audio, you just can't here it man...
+hardminder I don't hear anything. is this a troll?
How could it be a troll? Humans can't hear all frequencies, if you have damaged hearing or hearing problems, you might not be able to ear 16 000Hz
it sucks being old, sigh.
+alexandersemen it might be a relief for you UA-cam audio format compress frequencies above 16kHz making them barely audible. Try this instead:
onlinetonegenerator.com/
I can't hear anything in this video but can hear 18500hz with a real generetor and ''feel'' something up to 19000hz. I'm 26 and I've been hard on my ears!
All I can hear is man telling me in a deep tenevrous voice to vote for Donald Trump.
Just Say, "Hell no, fuck it", LOL
I can hear this perfectly clearly, yet when I take one of those graduated tests on UA-cam I can't hear anything above 7000khz. On one I can hear the highest possible frequency (bats, etc.) and then nothing until 'very poor'. I now can't tell whether I'm extremely defective or that these tests are rubbish.
Yeah these are real I use them as a actual test and people who are older normaly cant hear them and yeah those teats are proabaly just trying to make you feel old or are using something other then a sine wave frequencies
@@AHhfnovnkfn je lentend avec un volume assez elever est ce grave ou dangereux
i suddenly feel the need to howl in pain lol, but seriously that fucking hurts holy shit x__X
