- Such a cool, mysterious voice and song. Loved the bridge and that chorus is just so dang catchy! Also, I'm sick and tested positive for covid, so everything's great, bruh. But anyways, this song was beautiful.

Great song. Love the musical arrangement. That line, "...you pour yourself over me, like Sun through the blinds" is such a great lyric. The man definitely can write. And of course that voice.

I saw Peter Murphy in concert at a bar in 1989 or 1990 in New Orleans. NIN opened up for him. Great show. Other songs by Murphy I love include "The Line Between the Devil's Teeth", "All Night Long", "A Strange Kind of Love". Check out Love and Rockets soon.
I saw that same show at the 1235 club in Miami. One of my favorite concert memories : )

I only discovered this track just over a year ago when the video appeared in my YT feed - maybe because it wasn't a hit in the UK, unlike the USA where it charted in late 1989/early 1990.
I do remember another of his solo tracks from 4 years previously called Final Solution.

Near the end of the Meat Loaf song she says "Sooner or later you'll be screwing around" and he says "No I Wont Do That" so I always thought he meant he would do anything for love but he wouldn't be screwing around to get it. lol
