When cabling alone is done with such sophistication you can guess the kind of hard work all of them have done, these are the people who really understand the technologies, appreciate and love being a part of what they do. Keep up the good work!!
Very impressive, goes to show how serious the college is taking the program. I work at a data center and helped organized a donation of Dell 2950 gen iii servers from our decommissioned Colo for student lab environment at my college but it would be nice if they could fund a project like shown in this video. Looking forward to new content on your channel, thanks Dan.
Congratulations on your upgrade. I have been a fan for a couple of years. I took my 1st Cisco classes at College of DuPage in 2000 so I know how important the Community Colleges are to learning. :)
Nice lab, I would love to get my hands on it! ¿Any chance to see some SDN and NFV vids in the future? Video tip: try to use VirtualDub deshaker plugin while editing, then upload the final vid to UA-cam, stay away from UA-cam's editing tools. Again: congrats, nice lab!
Great setup Dan and looks really great. For the Custom PC running as a Firewall are you using pfSense?. On each workstation that has 2 PC's you only have one keyboard and mouse and I guess you are using a KVM or something like Synergy? Great video and keep them coming!

Fyang Thanks. That is great, a lot can be done with donated equipment but grants are nice too. It just takes some dedicated time as you know.
Dan's a cool guy, I've been following his videos for a long time. Great instructor.

Fantastic installation, I like the way its visual to the students in the classroom.
Good luck.
peter carey The window to the classroom was a really smart idea by the ITS department who planned the construction. :)
very good setup for your computer lab sir. very convenient. thanks for sharing it with us.
Fantastic setup
Nice! Seems like a small setup for how large the class could get... That cabling is amazing though!
ToxicRa1n4 I can up it very easily to four Cisco pods and then a ton of other labs can be run through the virtualization servers. Hoping for growth

danscourses You're welcome Dans
Great to see the progress of the lab and classroom!
What on earth is up with the DansCourses logo in the bottom right, though? hahaha
Cameronol Looked like the logo was placed before it was deshaken.
Cameronol Wow, I had not seen the result till now. I should have anticipated that.
Mentorcase Exactly!
Mentorcase Ahh, that makes more sense.
danscourses No complaints, just a funny observation that I thought I might make you aware of. :-)

Never used Endian Firewall.
Have you ever used pfSense?.
Synergy is also awesome.

Hi
Q. Can i configure a network with bgp and make the router work as dhcp server?
It's 2019 now. I wonder how things have changed?
Maybe the students unplugged a couple of cables and forgot to plug them back in 😁
This video is a prime example of why not to use the anti-shake feature on youtube
Ben Gibbons No kidding!
Fabulous _ now how can I remote IN, I'm studying for CCNA
