Just bought a simular one, 94 racing green coupe same interior, i’m 36 now and always admired them, now it was the right time, they are so under appreciated/ undervalued
Congrats man. Yes, the XJS is an absolutely gorgeous car. Not only is it a beautiful design, it's a very unique one. I can't think of another car that looks anything like it. Its long, low, sleek design is striking yet subtle. It looks so much more interesting and less predictable than many other more conventionally beautiful cars.
Thanks for your comment. You described it just perfectly 👌 Thanks for watching.
Congratulations!!!
I also dared to do the same with a beautiful XJS, but I waited 22 years to do it. Best regards.
Congratulations, these have been a favorite of mine since i was a little boy growing up in Ireland in the 70/80s. Big coupes always have such incredible presence.
Same exact thing happened to me also in ft laud! Only it took me about 25 years.
I saw a facelifted xjs coupe at Bayview Cadillac and was enamored by it's lines as I'd never seen one where the rear window was rounded off before.
Got my 93 coupe just a few months ago after many years of searching.
I use to own a store in ft.laud until 06 if you were there then. Was in Gateway shopping ctr Consign Design maybe you knew of it.
Thank you for your nice comment. I'm glad to hear you finally bought your dream xjs coupe. It's a masterpiece. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Fort Lauderdale area because I went there just for a short vacation for a few days, and I'm glad I did :) Most of the time I lived in NYC. Thanks for watching.
Congratulations
Thank you.
I own a 1995 XJS Convertible white in color I use it daily I named her Tara if you keep on top of the mechanical and service on time it will last you forever mine as done 147,000 miles I had new suspension and Subframe mounts and as you say they glide along in silence mine as the straight 6 4.0 Litre engine I have a superb mechanic who as worked on Jags for 40 years so my car is in good hands one thing mine needs is to have the front seats refurbished anyway enjoy your XJS I wish you many happy miles of driving best regards Andy Allen.
Thanks for your comment Mr.Andy. This is an awesome car indeed. I love the sleek design of the convertible as well. I get a lot of compliments all the time from people whenever I'm driving it around the city. It's a real conversation starter and I enjoy every second of it. Have a good day.
@@VVLOGSCH Thank you for your reply I get many compliments as well I think our XJS Cars are bettter than most American sports cars and it lives up to William Lyons slogan for his Jaguar Cars Grace Pace and Space I wish you well Andy Allen.
I disagree with @mplewp ! I had one myself (same color and motor) but those 4.0 motors are bulletproof! I only think this is a 1993 model, if I'm not wrong the interior of the 1994 is with different seats
It had this interior with the aj6 engine up to 10/1994 from then it has the aj16 and different style seats
👍🏴👍
Hi dude…… I believe that you are in the USA…..
It’s my understanding that all Jaguar XJS in the USA came with dual headlights????
Your car has the European version of the headlights…..
Is the car a European import???
Regards Ian 👨🎤🇳🇿👍🍸🍸
Hello Ian. Thanks for your comment. Yes, the car is currently located in Chicago, Illinois. This is a good question that I don't have an answer to. Or at least for now :) I don't really know if it's a European import or not. I wish I could give you a proper answer. A mechanic I gave my XJS to change the oil a few months ago, said, he feels like this car was imported from Canada to US. Maybe he noticed something I dont know about. But to be honest, It doesn't really matter to me if it's European of American version, I simply fell in love specifically with this Facelift generation and I enjoy every single moment driving it around whenever I have a chance. Lots of compliments from people all the time. I still can't believe how strong they were made. Nothing broke since I bought it, except the AC. It's like a vault on the road. Thanks for watching and Have a good day.
Most cars are moneypits , you just bought a money ravine 🤣
😆 Thanks for watching.
