Years ago I used to clean for a friend of a friend. Very cluttered house. One morning I got there and she was running late. Her two kids were playing up. She was a single full time working mom. She was crying and just overwhelmed. I sorted the kids and got them to the car. She went off to work and dropped them off at school. That day I stayed for three hours extra. Did jobs that I wasn’t meant to do. She’d left ingredients out for her to make shepherds pie for when she got home. Frozen meat etc. I made the pie and stayed late. Told her I was running late and asked her to message when she was leaving work. I knew I had 30 minutes then. I put the pie in the oven. Nipped the shop and bought her fresh flowers for the table and set it. I have never seen anyone more grateful for a tiny act of kindness. She really needed it that day. I’d left when she got home. My phone rang and she was just sobbing. My friend said it gave her a massive boost she needed. I’d left her house clean and tidy. Something she hadn’t had for years. I think I felt better than she did.😂 I loved doing it! I think we all sometimes need that little extra help. I certainly have and have been blessed with my own angels who’ve helped me too.❤

Thank you doing this for her. And for being so respectful of her things. Most people just see it as junk and trash. It isnt. It's all standard household/personal items, just piled everywhere, because it's too overwhelming to organize. You made a world of difference to this person. Thank you. I'm very proud of you.
They usually throw almost everything in some other shows where it’s almost impossible to sort everything and make decisions rtc. I also feel bad about it but due to time constraints and maybe the fear of owner’s refusal to let them go if asked , they take full control. However, this house is not as piled up as shown in extremely hoarded houses so maybe he could manage. I feel grateful to the person for his help. Amazing absolutely

“Blend into my bed” is about the most accurate description of what depression and/or a long recovery period from injury or surgery does to a person. You just want to stay in that comfy cocoon and ignore the rest of the world and everything around you. I’ve suffered from depression and it is physically debilitating and I don’t think anyone who hasn’t experienced it can truly understand the mind hijacking the body with depression.
My mom, RIP, suffered from depression after my father died. I used to go to her house and clean it, to keep her house from getting to this level. I think of her often. Ms. B. Churchill
That was very kind of you to do this. People don’t understand that it’s so easy to get overwhelmed and exhausted from illness (physical and mental), and it’s more difficult when the person cannot afford a housekeeper to come in to help keep up the house. Insurances will cover home health care, but they often don’t consider housekeeping as part of home health care, so they won’t cover that portion. I would love to see this service covered by insurance for people because a dirty house is a health hazard for both the person who is ill AND for the neighborhood.
Thank you for helping her. I went thru cancer treatments and effects from the damage. My house got this way. I tried calling professional businesses for help but I guess my money wasn't green enough. I'm slowly getting bits organized and cleaned. I want this last of the illness put behind me!
I know a key feature of what you do is privacy, respect and discretion - but I would really love to hear people’s reactions if they would allow it when they see the results - it would be so amazing to get their reactions if they were happy to share at that stage
Why I love your channel: 1) these people actually own stuff 2) everything isn't white, grey and whicker 3) you're not actually showing off your butt the whole time.
I enjoyed this. It isn’t hoarding or filth-just someone who is overwhelmed at this point in their life. I hope this gives them the time to catch a breath and start a new path in their life.
What a generous way to help someone, and I love that you said they are overwhelmed. What a respectful and thoughtful way of looking at their home and understanding them as an individual ❤️
I suffer depression and have done on and off for my lifetime. I’m 67. I’ve never had counselling but have learned to spot the signs and reasons. It helps to keep track of the triggers. I used to paralyse me and sometimes still does. However if I get up and do one little thing I find I will do another little thing and gradually begin to feel better. Doing that first little thing is the hardest and most challenging but is also the one that is empowering. What you do for others without judgement is so lovely. I wish you and yours wellness and peace. 🇮🇪
Sometimes all we need is a little bit of help to get going again. Thank you for helping this lady. She was obviously not a dirty person, just a swamped one. I hope she is better now.
Great job! This lady should get someone to help her declutter. Fewer things around reduces anxiety. Too many meds! Someone should go through and see if any are expired. Her pharmacy can put her current meds in pill packs so she is only taking what is required for the day. If you are depressed, it is easy to forget you have already taken a pill. Thank you for doing this kindness for this lady. I hope she starts to feel better soon🌹
I used to be a homecare aide and you are absolutely right about the pharmacy pill packs! They are so helpful! Also having a notepad to jot down dates and times when you've taken pills so if at any point you are unsure if you've taken a certain pill, you can check your notepad
I was mesmerized by this video. You may have given this woman her life back. At the end I nearly cried . . . something about something so broken and beyond redemption turned around into a bright place to sustain life. Thanks for this. If only we could fix other things broken or destroyed with life energy such as yours.
Not dirty , just clutter. Aside from not leaving dishes to wash ( good old dishwasher). I could easily clutter counter tops ( think they should be on as slant , then things just fall off ha! I spend my life throwing excess out to prevent me doing this. So glad this lady will find her dishes done & joy of walking into lovely tidy kitchen. U are an amazing mam👏👏👏
It’s interesting how we are all so different; things on my kitchen bench give me anxiety- I only allow my jug and heavy coffee machine on the bench. In fact I regularly go into my kitchen to check no sneaky things have crept up onto my benches.
Holy cow, that was an amazing transformation!!!! I’m blown away that you have such patience, willingness and happiness to help, generosity, and skill!! You do an awesome job and I love your videos!!!!!!! Thank you!!! 👏🏻👏🏻💖😎😎😎🤩🤩🤩
That looks so nice. Great job cleaning off counters for her. I feel like i understand I have areas in my home that need to get organized and decluttered. I've been doing a little bit at a time.
You are such a good soul❣️ So glad to discover you this past weekend because I’ve just about given up any hope of my ever de-hoarding my large home. Even with health issues and old age-I’m going to push through this and start today: 5/15/23!
Depression is a monster!!! I'm lucky I try my best to stay active no matter how I feel mentally, I also got a chronic illness that stops me, but if I can get out of bed, I function, this will power is a blessing!!! not all have it.. I never had depression until a few years ago and it really opened my eyes on how hard it is!! I used to take care of mentally ill teens and they would be a mess and never know I was struggling too.. it gave me empathy to know what they where facing! I put on a happy face and they all thought I was never moody nor life was hard and always happy.. it was my super power helping others!!
Holy hell that’s a lot of prescriptions and OTC’s in that cabinet. It’s no wonder she fell behind in the housekeeping, she’s obviously dealing with many physical ailments along with the depression. I hope this gives her a boost in her mental state.
Thank you so much not only for your inspiration, awesome work but your compassion toward helping others without judgement. I consider myself to be clean and organized but always learn something new, you’re awesome!
Such a generous gift of your time and effort. I'm sure she appreciated more than she can even express. Thank you for being a positive, caring person in the world.
Recently, a friend was getting married and asked if i could help clean her old apt as she would be moving in with her husband. I got there and it was rough. She asked me not to judge her, i said i wouldn't. She's my friend and i told her i would help. She had a roommate who admitted she hadn't cleaned the apt. In 13yrs. I honestly don't know how the landlord let them stay. My friend also suffers from anxiety, has a bad back and legs. I was glad i could help her.
Having a friend come over and set while you clean is a big help. Not cleaning for you but just to show they care and conversation, Because some people never get out except first of month to pay bills then no money left for outings.
Isn't it lovely to see that there are some wonderfully kind people who help instead of hating out there? I have suffered from depression & other physical health conditions for many years, I am in constant pain. My house looks like a landfill site because I can hardly move due to pain. I'm afraid to ask for help because I don't know anyone who can help. I fear people will be judging & talking about the awful state of my home behind my back. I cry every day because of it.
Im sorry to hear that.. if you cannot move at all.. then its alright to ask for help.. you are not alone.. and there is many people that are happy to help with your condition.. just reach out for help dont be afraid people are going to talk and judge about you, we cant shut peoples mouth for what they are going to say.. they talk because they never have to experience the problems that you are dealing with.. this is life.. im sure someone or somebody would be gladly to give you a helping hand.. go for it man you've got nothing to lose, brave your heart and i wish you all the best...
Is there anything like a Crisis Centre where you live? Somewhere you could call and ask for help? Is there a church nearby you? I know it’s hard but you just have to swallow your pride and reach out. There are definitely people who care!
I had to have friends, neighbors, and relatives in to help following an illness and then severe depression. Some knew how my house was, some didn't. Only a couple of people made a negative comment but were of great help anyway. See if someone can help. Perhaps some volunteers. Youth groups sometimes need volunteer hours. Someone to clean and take out the garbage, help with dishes and maybe laundry. It feels good to help someone. MANY people have a house in a similar condition. MANY people actually LiIKE to clean. Make sure they respect you and your stuff and go at your pace of what you can tolerate others to do for you. Your tolerance for help may increase as things improve. If your house is a tripping or other hazard, please ask for help. A professional organizer once told me "you deserve to live better than this". You are.not lazy. You just are not able.
You did I great job, thank you. I hope she will feel a bit better now. My attitude is always, never be judgemental about anyone's life, help if you can, be kind, but if you can't....... just leave them alone, don't put even more stress on them!
Years ago, my 80 year old husband and i got sick with a terrible virus. We spent a month in bed. Don't know how we got to the bathroom. We barely ate. No way to cook, too sick . Our home looked like a hurricane hit it!!! We still haven't caught up with housework. So can understand how this happens.
So nice of you to help this lady out. I also suffered from depression which resulted in me not opening mail for 4 years. I did not have clutter but it was hard to clean. It is so good to see you helping deserving people out.
You have great organizational skills. You are awesome to work so hard. My boyfriend just died and I hope I don’t get so depressed that I forget to clean. Love you.
My heart hurts for people who struggle to this point. What you do has the potential to lift a person and make a perminate change of perspective. Call me selfish, but I kinda want the comfort of knowing that this family is receiving all the assistance they need. I would love to see a note that says, "I am one of many professionals helping this family. Family members are receiving the clinical help necessary for healing."
Just came across this video and had to watch. Now I am a subscriber and I’m going to watch the other videos. It’s actually nice to see a gentleman involve himself with cleaning inside a home to help someone in need. Good on you! 👍
Going to add your channel to my subscription list ...cleaning and home organisation goes a long way to helping folk with mental health problems . Great job 👏
I am the opposite, if I feel troubled, I clean. Of course I understand that some suffer with depression and other ailments and cannot face much in life. I had a friend that always called into me. Then years later she asked if I could go to feed her cat as she was going away for a few weeks. It took me two weeks to clear and clean her flat. I enjoyed doing it. Bless her! So many bin liners to take to the local top. All paperwork I put into a large box. Plastics and tins I recycled. I bough her new bedding and towels. Did a lot of laundry. It looked so lovely once finished as she did have beautiful furniture that was hidden. She came to me and she cried. Hugged her and told her I understood. Helped her to sort out things she had left undone. After all, it is what friends do…💗💗💗
I have cleaned a hoarders house. I did it bc she had been sick and had hip surgery. It was satisfying to see the progress and the finished project. I enjoyed the cleaning very much. End of the story, she loved the way that her place came out.
I've been going through some hard times & I find when I'm having a particularly rough day, forcing myself to do at least one task often gets the ball rolling & I feel much better after. It might not work for everyone but it's worth a try. Hugs to all feeling overwhelmed & struggling out there
Awww, I feel so bad for people with depression. I found my mother would go through this and most of my visits were spent cleaning. That's OK. You're helping so much. Thank you. 😊
I have in the past lives like this and I know how grateful I would have been for someone to have helped me out like this so I’m saying thank you on behalf of the person with depression. You can’t know how much this would mean to them
I bet she was so thankful for all of that help. I feel like even stuff you like covering too much of your space makes it feel visually cluttered, and therefore feeling mentally cluttered too. I go in spurts where I like a lot of decor and other times I feel like I just want to not decorate as much and leave more spaces open. Sometimes just removing things makes the space feel like there's more breathing room. I ditched our kitchen bar stools that were never really used much and it felt so much better. I hope this gave her enough of a boost that she can keep up with 10-20 minutes 1-2x per day.
03/04/24 your videos are amazingggggggggggg! thank you. I walked into MY kitchen to declutter it, and I looked at the PILE of clean dishes and the cluttered sink and walked OUT of my kitchen and back here so I can WATCH your videos lol smiles. the clean dishes and counter top CLUTTER was TOO much for me, for real.
thanks for your videos when i was younger i had a little OCD about cleaning, but i just turned 60 yrs old and i have noticed i have slacked off the last 3 yrs cuz i get tired easier, and i need to have a garage sale and get rid of a bunch of stuff, the less you own, the less stuff to dust.
I think you are just an amazing and very caring person. I pray God blessed you and your family beyond your wildest dreams. I took suffer from s vere depression. I raised 4 kids on my own and they've all moved away. It's been so hard to push through my depression the past few years. I also got physically sick and had to get a transfusion. My house didn't get as bad but it was pretty cluttered. I was overwhelmed and ashamed. Little by little,bIm getting it. It is slowly matching the inside of my heart I suppose as I'm healing. I've actually thought of doing a service like yours for young parents or single mothers. My mom used to come clean my house when my kids were little and leave notes from the "housecleaning fairy" .I think this would be great to keep me out of my head and on tract bless you all
Great job. I find the house getting on top of me periodically. I have noone to help, so have to force myself to "get on with it" but I appreciate others just can't. The problem is that it just seems so overwhelming& the only way I cope is to break things down into smaller tasks ( eg grab all the recycling, next time grab trash, next time fill/empty/fill the dishwasher. When I was out the house for up to 8 hrs a day travelling for chemo and radiotherapy even emptying the dishwasher seemed too big a task!
Dude, congratulations on your 100K+ just this week, just since I found you! I am binging everything and learning so much! Thank you for all you do. You're helping me, and you're helping me deal with my mom too. Xoxo
I like how you clean in layers, removing loose debris then wiping or mopping rather than making a big sloppy mess of chemicals and crud just for dramatic effect. Also good on you for the care you take in organizing.

Thank you doing this for her. And for being so respectful of her things. Most people just see it as junk and trash. It isnt. It's all standard household/personal items, just piled everywhere, because it's too overwhelming to organize.
You made a world of difference to this person. Thank you. I'm very proud of you.
Well said!
I know how it feels to be depressed. Thank you so much for helping the woman.
This man is a hero! I never admired famous actors and singers. They get too much publicity. But I would certainly ask this man to sign me an autograph!! 🙌
Me too!!❤❤
I love looking at these older videos. But, I miss your soothing yet entertaining voice that you edit into the newer videos. God bless you and your family. My prayers are for your wife's speedy recovery 💚🙏🙏🙏💚
There are days when all I want is to blend into my bed. I had a total knee replacement a few months ago. These videos help me get back on my feet.
I can imagine how happy this family was when they came home to this gift.
Wow! The world needs more good hearts like yours!
Thank you for helping her. I went thru cancer treatments and effects from the damage. My house got this way. I tried calling professional businesses for help but I guess my money wasn't green enough. I'm slowly getting bits organized and cleaned. I want this last of the illness put behind me!
I hope you are doing better !! 💖🙏🏻
I know a key feature of what you do is privacy, respect and discretion - but I would really love to hear people’s reactions if they would allow it when they see the results - it would be so amazing to get their reactions if they were happy to share at that stage
Why I love your channel:
1) these people actually own stuff
2) everything isn't white, grey and whicker
3) you're not actually showing off your butt the whole time.
Sending you wishes healthy, happy days☘️
Sometimes all we need is a little bit of help to get going again. Thank you for helping this lady. She was obviously not a dirty person, just a swamped one. I hope she is better now.
I find myself overwhelmed with my clutter due to an injury. I watch videos like this for motivation as well. Thank you for all you do to help!
Great job! This lady should get someone to help her declutter. Fewer things around reduces anxiety. Too many meds! Someone should go
through and see if any are expired. Her pharmacy can put her current meds in pill packs so she is only taking what is required for the day.
If you are depressed, it is easy to forget you have already taken a pill. Thank you for doing this kindness for this lady. I hope she starts
to feel better soon🌹
Who said all the medication is hers?
@@RD-bq6uq Well whoever's they are it's a good suggestion.
At the end I nearly cried . . . something about
something so broken and beyond redemption turned around into a bright place to sustain life. Thanks for this.
If only we could fix other things broken or destroyed with life energy such as yours.
Your wife is the lucky one, a man that cleans that's a plus. You are good at what you do.
"Ope, he missed a spot!.. wait, that's just something on my phone." -Me sitting here watching him clean while I do absolutely nothing 😂
🤣
Ditto!
🤣
Same 😆
I was thinking the same thing!! There was something on my phone!!😂😂
It’s interesting how we are all so different; things on my kitchen bench give me anxiety- I only allow my jug and heavy coffee machine on the bench.
In fact I regularly go into my kitchen to check no sneaky things have crept up onto my benches.
Its nice to show kindness to someone who is in despitely in need of help to clean their house. Well done.
Wow what a bright and beautiful kitchen you uncovered!!🥰🥰🥰🌞🌞🌞 Awesome job.
You are a good friend 🙂 did the former roommate and your friend's husband help you with the cleaning?
Having a friend come over and set while you clean is a big help. Not cleaning for you but just to show they care and conversation,
Because some people never get out
except first of month to pay bills then no money left for outings.
Ammar Ammar…we’ll said!
I just found your channel and subbed. I really appreciate the service you did for this woman. Great job-I know it helped her cope better with life.
I can't get over that you did all of this in only 4 hours!! You're amazing
I love the way your clean for people in need. I like the way you clean one zone at a time.
Getting a fresh start can be so important, bless you.
Hugs to all feeling overwhelmed & struggling out there
You are a lifesaver for this woman. God bless you.
Awww, I feel so bad for people with depression. I found my mother would go through this and most of my visits were spent cleaning. That's OK. You're helping so much. Thank you. 😊
Thank you for helping this woman! Looks so much better!
I love it! Great job! Depression stinks big time! Thank you for helping this lady out! i hope she loves her clean and tidy kitchen!
This was very nice of you to help her. God knows I know how she feels.
The music is peaceful and inspiring. Thanks for including the names and artist.
You are a good man for helping this lady. God bless you.
Having your narration over the video makes such a huge difference In entertainment value ! Your awesome and very funny !
thanks for your videos when i was younger i had a little OCD about cleaning, but i just turned 60 yrs old and i have noticed i have slacked off the last 3 yrs cuz i get tired easier, and i need to have a garage sale and get rid of a bunch of stuff, the less you own, the less stuff to dust.
I hope you are doing better. Those things wipe you out completely.
Me too
((Hugs))
Dude, congratulations on your 100K+ just this week, just since I found you! I am binging everything and learning so much! Thank you for all you do. You're helping me, and you're helping me deal with my mom too. Xoxo
Brilliant job you did for that lady.
You are such a kind man. God bless you and your family 🇦🇺🦘👍
I don’t know why I clicked on this video. It is satisfying. Nice job.
I just found your channel & I must say I have never seen a guy doing house cleaning on UA-cam. You do a great job! Looks awesome.
I like how you clean in layers, removing loose debris then wiping or mopping rather than making a big sloppy mess of chemicals and crud just for dramatic effect. Also good on you for the care you take in organizing.
Prayers for her and God bless you for healing her
I understand concept of stressed. Thank you for helping this person. Just starting watching your channel. You'll be flooded soon with tons of subscribers. You did a great job. 😄👍 Do be sure to wear gloves.
That woman will say you changed her mindset ❤❤❤
Omg you are doing all this??!!! Really awesome may God bless you
This is Eileen. Well done! I feel inspired and I hope the lady felt much better when she saw the result.
What a blessing you are .
She has a nice house with nice things. She's not really dirty but needs some organizational skills. I think we all pile stuff to some degree. I hope this cleaning makes her feel better!!
Oh man I know how it feels to be overwhelmed by depression and for my whole house to look like that
Wonderful work!!! G’d bless this man!!! The social mídia need give more power for this type videos!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I think it's wonderful that you did this cleaning for someone who's I'll.
May God bless you for helping others this way.
This one was actually amazingly clean under the clutter. Nice!!
To get motivated....I buy myself a "happy". For example, if I want to do the living room I buy a nice candle, or picture frame, or a little flower decor.... whatever. Something to look forward to and enjoy....kind of like a prize for cleaning.👍😊❤️
@PlaylistArchive.....lol, I'm quite the opposite...I'm a minimalist.....this video is about cleaning motivation. Not hoarding. But whatever.....!!!
I missed some of these early ones. Glad you could help her.
Everyone deals so differently with things. Cleaning actually relaxes me. I get so focused I forget about everything else.
It’s wonderful what you did for her.
I do have a question…what criteria do you use on what is kept and what is thrown away? When you have so.much.stuff, I don’t know how you know what to do with all of it!!
Beautifull work...how blessed was she to have you come in and restore her kitchen back to working order!
👍♥️🙏
