The main attraction of Manila Ocean Park is the Oceanarium which houses 14,000 sea creatures from about 277 species all of which is indigenous in Southeast Asia. The Oceanarium has seven sections and contains 3,000 cubic meters of sea water. Its main feature is the 25-meter 220° curved walkway tunnel after a 55-meter walkthrough inside the Oceanarium. The water used in the Oceanarium is derived from the Manila Bay which is filtered to be suitable to marine life. It also has an educational activity area, function rooms for events, and shark and stingray viewing area situated in two levels. The Jellies Exhibit, a separate attraction hosts jellyfishes. The Manila Ocean Park also hosts the Trails to Antarctica, the first penguin park facility in the country, which features Humboldt penguins. Through the years, their breeding program for the penguins have been very successful. As of May 2017, they already have a total of 13 baby penguins that hatched inside the park. They also have the Birds of Prey Kingdom which features Brahminy kites and the World of Creepy Crawlies which exhibits frogs, insects, spiders, and worms. I am a foreigner who has lived in the Philippines for more than 2 years but unfortunately I didnt have the chance to visit Manila ocean park!! I am really sad !! 😥
7:27 8:20 Those now (sadly) closed steps led to a platform where you can see crocodiles! Notice that the tank is open to daylight @28:21? Back then, the area was much more open to the elements, so guests would be able to see the Blacktip Reef Sharks from the same tank much more up close. I remember previously visiting the oceanarium when I was kid and getting very excited seeing the said sharks. Sadly, it is closed off due to renovations as showed @31:28. I just revisited the place yesterday, and it is still very much the same as shown in the video! It is unfortunate that not much progress had been made, and what's worse being that many exhibits having been closed since the oceanarium first opened in 2008.

Because I had just been there with my 7 y/o son, gf (she's from Italy), and college best-friend sometime this late May. :) My best-friend is in cancer remission, hence I tagged her along for some bit of destressing or much needed relaxation. While many are mainly there for entertainment, it is my hope that they will leave the place with a heightened enlightenment or understanding and respect for nature or ecology as a whole. When you return back here in Cebu you might as well feature also in your vlog the CEBU OCEAN PARK located right across the mountain view wing entrance of SM Seaside City Cebu. I also love the Manila Ocean Park and been there twice already.

Those now (sadly) closed steps led to a platform where you can see crocodiles!
Notice that the tank is open to daylight @28:21? Back then, the area was much more open to the elements, so guests would be able to see the Blacktip Reef Sharks from the same tank much more up close. I remember previously visiting the oceanarium when I was kid and getting very excited seeing the said sharks.
Sadly, it is closed off due to renovations as showed @31:28. I just revisited the place yesterday, and it is still very much the same as shown in the video!
It is unfortunate that not much progress had been made, and what's worse being that many exhibits having been closed since the oceanarium first opened in 2008.
tweet: Put some green plants outside the Aquarium by the grand Entrance, or plant more bansot coconuts. The main entrance looks somber -- it needs some colors to bring some lively atmosphere. Esama na rin ang mga corners. God bless. june2022.

This is definitely one of your finest exploration videos in regard to Manila's sparkling gems! When were you at MOP, Tour? Because I had just been there with my 7 y/o son, gf (she's from Italy), and college best-friend sometime this late May. :) My best-friend is in cancer remission, hence I tagged her along for some bit of destressing or much needed relaxation. While many are mainly there for entertainment, it is my hope that they will leave the place with a heightened enlightenment or understanding and respect for nature or ecology as a whole. I am at work, so I will just continue watching the video tonight with my son. Thank you so much for all that you do. And kudos once again to you. Keep up the great work. :)

Hi, hindi ako masyado familiar pero kung meron po kayo bus diyan na papunta ng Pasay, pwede po kayo sumakay dun. Pag dating niyo po sa Pasay, madami na po jeep or taxi papunta sa Luneta. Yung Manila Ocean Park katabi niya lang yung Luneta.
