Í had been a student of UP during1981 to 1986. Quapo is old area of Manila, a very busy place. 40 years now buti all those memories during my stay still fresh in my mind. I am a Christian and used to be a college student in one of the universities close to the area. I had a few muslim friends from school and we used to eat in the eateries there. I like their spicy style of cooking. Mostly curry dishes. I love curry in food. May it be fish or meat. I miss those days.😊

Yes spicy and delicious foods, it is scientific cooking . Most of food have coconut meat and coconut milk with tormeric and very special engredients is Palapa. Palapa it is like onion leaves that give the taste and smile great. Thank you.

I prayed Friday prayers at this mosque in 2013 during a 12 hour plane transit and tried the local halal food around those mosque, mostly fish and curry. Truly a valuable and enjoyable experience.

If you visit Philippines, please visit Sulu too, its in the southern part of Philippines, near Indonesia. I've been to Indonesia as well and I can say that we have a LOT of similarities like food,beliefs, traditional attires etc.,
