@@WildAstro thanks Rich, I’ve ordered some (both cream and balm ) for my old hoofs - should help when I attempt the Pennine Way later this month 👌 Also hows the Anan you old Hilliberg fan boy 😂😜
@@WildAstro so Soulo BL and Anan then 🤣😜👌I’ve an akto ( which is really nice ) just wondering if the saving in weight is worth the less robust tent - also people go on about condensation with the Anan - how have you found it ?
Good morning, I was waiting till all the videos were out to watch them. Shane the weather does not stay like this. Oxy tape is another great way to look after your feet. Great video, see you in the next 1.
Incredible sights to wake up to! What a welcome indeed. Scotland is next level epic, an explorer dream! Can sense your pre walk nerves and excitement ❤ Fort William is such an important hub for hikers in Scotland 🗺🧭
Many thanks Rach - I think i'm gradualy learning that with drone footage less is definitely more! Lovely to hear from you and glad you enjoyed the film!
Good foot care tips Rich, interested to see how that works out, look after your feet and your feet will look after you 🦶❤👍 A warning would have been nice for any food eatters out there 🤭🥰🤗⚠️ Cracking looking camp and nothing like a dip in a Loch! 🌊 🏊♂️
Great to see you out with the lads again Rich👍 I've always fancied doing a hike like this, don't think my knees would hold up though! Lol! Top video and soundtrack as per👍👍👍
Thanks Anthony. My knees were a worry before we got started but they managed pretty well. Even the steep downhills. It’ll be a while until I get out again due to some health issues mate, so this was a great way to cram in some great views and experiences before a break. Thanks as always for the kind words.
Gotta be honest, when I started seeing bits from this trip I thought wouldn’t it have been so much better if you’d got together and just made 1 big long episode somehow, but this has changed my mind. Just watched Dave’s part 2, then this, and it’s very different. A lot different. Cool to watch both ways.
We did talk about just 1 big collaboration, but to be honest we weren’t sure how that would go. Who would edit it etc. we all have pretty different styles, as you’ve spotted, and I think we each bring our own view to the trip.
Great quality video and content. Hoping to walk the GGW later this year. Curious to know if the water from the loch is safe to consume, of course after filtering and/or boiling. What is the general practice on using water from the lochs? Thanks!
Fantastic first installment Rich, thanks to all of you for sharing your epic trip and adventures ,really looking forward to seeing more from you guys in Scotland ❤🗺🧭👍 have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat ☕ p.s can't belive you've got another tent lol! Tent-aholics 🏕🥰🤯
Hey Guys - Yeah i'm what you'd probably call a Hilleberg Fan Boy 😂 Scotland was an epic adventure for 3 overweight guys with something to prove to themselves - we loved every minute and can't wait to bring you part 2. Lots of love, Rich!
Enjoyed that, roll on part 2. Scotland never disappoints.
Nice wee bit of droning along the canal really helped tantalise the walk ahead! 🚶♂️
Brilliant views and trip. Looks a great roadtrip on the way up too. 👍
Hi Arielle - yep, the journey up was really fun and the trip as a whole was such a great experience. Thanks for watching.
Another great video mate, can’t seem to find a link to the foot balms
Totally forgot to put it in mate. Will get it done for you asap!
Links to foot balms are in the film description now mate!

Nicely shot, great quality and ariel views. Music good too. Really enjoying watching the Shropshire Hilli Billies on tour 🏴
Thanks Derek, very kind of you sir and glad you enjoyed it.
Gotta keep those plans flexible…. Watching this after I watched part 2 … both awesome videos thanks for sharing your adventures … 👍👍

Just to have my 50 pence worth. Just watch Rich's video..... me, I couldn't be arsed 🤣
@@DaveOutdoors hahahaha. At one point I though you had all the laughs, Rich was gonna document everything that went wrong 🤣
Looking forward to part 2. Wonderful views and a beautiful little spot. I love Scotland 🥰
Glad you enjoyed it Louise, Scotland really is a stunning part of the world and i hope you enjoy our continued adventures along the Great Glen Way.
Crikey Gordon's dash looked like something from the Starship Enterprise 🖖
Thats EXACTLY what I said when I got in the van!
Great video! Look forward to the series. Fair play, when I treat myself to something it's usually a kebab, not a Hilliberg tent! :-)
I didn't really need yet another UK hike on my bucket list, but it looks very promising. Cheers!
It should definitely be on your list mate!
Mint video buddy ❤️ Really informative unlike the trash Dave makes 😜 Looking forward to part two 👍
great video.
Many thanks pal, glad you enjoyed it!
Stunning views awesome Vid
Love your new tent .
Can you sit up properly in the Anan ?

Hi Graham. Yep, I can sit up quit comfortably in the middle of the Enan. Glad you enjoyed the film mate.

We did. Filtered strait into our drinking bottles or into cooking pots for boiling. Best tasting water I’ve had in a long time.
Many thanks for quick response. Coming from US and was not sure about water sources there. Happy Trails!
