i was at this show. one of the best shows ive ever seen. when they hit the low note in "If I Had a Tail" , like when the lyric is "id swat the flies" it was an utterly jaw dropping moment for me. i remember saying "wow" out loud. this show changed me. previously i had only really been a fan of the old old hard rock stuff, the songs for the dead real heavy stuff, but this show was almost all the midtempo brooding stuff and it really gave me a new appreciation for this band. ive been a fan for a long time, but now i have a newfound appreciation for the other half of the catalog that i was foolishly dismissive of in the past. ...Like Clockwork is now one of my favorite albums of theirs. i dint get it before, now i get it. i drove down from cleveland for this show and im really happy i did. i really hope i get to see them again before josh hangs it up for good. thank you for posting this!
When I saw them in Atlanta, it changed me too. My brother was there, way closer than me, lol and he described it to people that couldn't be there that it was " the closest thing to a religious experience he's ever had." Very true for me too.
Interesting, I had it the other way around, I completely dismissed them for my entire life until ...Like Clockwork came out, I listened to the whole album everyday for maybe 2 years, and I have been listening to QotSA on a daily basis since. I remember when I first listened to Little Sister's solo I was like "this guy doesn't know how to play guitar", it's hard to understand the concept of Homme's guitar at first, but once you realize the geniousness of the deconstruction of the pentatonic pattern, there's no way back.
I had the same experience somewhat at their show in San francisco. They are next level. Its a level of rock that has never been achieved and won't be fully appreciated for a while still. Its not something that can really come through the screen completely. You have to be there and experience it to really understand it.
Hardest job in the world, being a security guard at one of the gigs and having to face away from that gold. couldn't pay me enough not to. Seen queens at Halifax, England last year (2023) One of the best concerts if not the best. Really wanted them to play this banger. Maybe next time 🤘
That reminds me of a Soundgarden show where the security guy was totally absorbed in his duty until Chris Cornell shouted a high note in his typical superhuman way, and he turned around like "wwwwhat the fuck was that..."
Josh was on fire on this tour before the forced stop, probably on his prime as a performer and in terms of stage charisma. I hope he´ll come back with similar power.
I’ve been a fan since 2003 in my college years, I’ve seen them live twice, and I feel like every video I see of their live performances from this tour are all epic.
my absolute favourite song by the Queens, never seen them live but cannot wait to be there one day. Josh is one of the most charismatic male singers ever existed, he was really born to be on stage🤘💥
This band blows me away!! They're so darn good & diverse, as individual musicians & as a whole unit.. the chemistry is so cohesive, their raw emotion, soul & energy come through & hit right in the feels! That's a special thing. Life is good! Thank You Qotsa, Thank You to this channel & filmer, if not 2 in 1 the same person! Good health & peace to everyone❤
@@nexdrums it's nothingto do with difficulty its tried and tested version for a live set, this band is one of the most dialed in super clean live playing groups of all time. They blow everyone away, it's an artistic licence to play faster.

It was an amazing show. So glad you came around to clockwork, it's a masterpiece

I feel exactly the same way!

The "I'm reclaming my mind" part with the echo is out of this world, amazing can't even describe it
Shivers, every time! I feel ya
Such an epic song! One of their best IMO

Joshua Homme really hit his stride in 2023 ❤
Seeing this live was surreal!
Wasn't it? I had a blast
This song gets less traction that the other songs we know well. It’s an absolute banger.
Psychedelic Rock,1967,1968ish love it!!
This is my favourite QOTSA song, goes so hard live!
Love Jon's take on this song. His training as a percussionnist really shines in moments like the intro.

I was up front! Great energy at Stage AE! Josh Homme was on 🔥

what a fucking masterpiece
2:35 you can see Josh thinking "what a masterpiece I've made" 😊
JON IS A BEAST!
That guitar tone and the heavy bass. So good!
Saw them perform this in Queens, NY a few weeks back. Just amazing
Holy shit. Yes please.
Love this song 🎉
The best song! Well, al Rated R is amazing.
Oh man this was really good
Fuck yeah!
Dayum. Time is really flying by.
That’s a beautiful thing 🤩😍
Epic song but just need to acknowledge how great it is now we can actually record decent concert videos on a phone
it helps that their live mixing on this tour was perfect
I was at this show! So amazing. I can’t get over it.
That's the one!!!
⚡♥️⚡♥️
You're a fuckin monster.. do you live in a parasol? Thank you for taking the time to upload these and take the video. Such good quality.
Amazing!🎉
Just awesome, always loved the song but this performance is exactly what the band is live, Perfect.
Increibleee🤯
This was awesome!!!
one of the best guitar riffs of the 2000's
PLEASE PLAY THIS ON SAO PAULO 9/9!!!!
Holy shit this song rips!
Thank you for this!!!!!!!!!❤
You picked the best song to get footage of, wtg
Fucking hell does John give this song a 4th dimension over the original. It's not the original, because there is no Oliveri, but wow
We don't deserves them
This is the only song i realy miss Nick's tone over Mikey's
The blobing strings with bends and super heavy low end make me earcum
Why is it so fast?
They often play it a little faster live than on the album.
Cause in live it's too complex to play at slow pace so they make it a bit faster to be consistent enough. It's clear.

God save the Queens 🤘 💀
I would’ve been the worst stage security guy ever.
The best performance of this song is take on by joey castillo🥁
Sorry, but I would play the bass mor close to Nicks style. It is a bit more äggy
