In the compound node there's one CST taking the footage out of Davinci Intermediate and back into slog3, as my lut is an slog3 to rec709 conversion lut.
so helpful dude thanks for posting this! Question though: did you or Dan run this footage through any noise reduction whatsoever? (Davinci Resolve's built-in noise redux or Neat Video or something?)
@@_zerotwelve and Teemu thanks so much for the replies - I'd LOVE to know about your exposure process when shooting Sony and SLOG3 in lowlight. Your footage is so clean! I'm new to shooting Sony and really trying to understand how to expose correctly (I've heard you should overexpose 1.7 to 2 stops, stick to the dual ISO, open aperture all the way. But I'm still finding a lot of noise in my video. (FYI - I'm shooting on 4K thru an F2.8 lens and not currently pumping footage out to an external monitor).
loved the last conservation. he smiled at finally:D
Perfect!! Love the thinking process videos.
Yeeeaaaahhh!!!! I hoped so much for a "grade breakdown" of the movie
Waiting for the updated version of ''my gears video''.
PS. what vnd filter do you use?
Thanks for sharing the color grade breakdown. Please could you share what is the setting for the CST in the "CST to LUT" compound node?

bro suggest a pro mist / black mist filter!
Really interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Brother are you editing video by laptop or desktop
Very cool. Question though: doesn't shooting in S-Log 3 in low light introduce more noise in the shadows?
I really don't think so, only if it's badly underexposed

no, I think dan would prefer noise-increasing software over noise reduction
He speaks the truth.

@@jonathonkane3171 external monitor (or fx3) with display luts has been the key for me
Hey Teemu, when shooting 4k on iPhone do you use 30fps or 24fps?
