    In 2019 Higham won the best kept village competition. The opening of Trawden’s village shop and library, run by local volunteers and features sustainable and plastic free shopping.
    Burnley FC In The Community unveil the new Leisure Box facility in Brierfield. Cyclo Cross took place in Towneley Park. Civic dignitaries pay their respects at a service in the Peace Garden in Burnley on Holocaust Memorial Day.
    Burnley Manager, Sean Dyche opens the new Burnley Ambulance Station. Brierfield’s Model Railway Society held their annual show on the 23rd March 2019. Burnley Mayor, Charles Briggs, officially opened the Weavers Triangle Centre in Burnley for a new season. The May Day festival took place at a wet Towneley Park with Burnley MP Julie Cooper and guest speaker Angela Raynor MP. Sophie Gibson from Burnley Empire Theatre Trust talks about the renovation of one of the oldest Edwardian theatres in Britain. Three new mayors were appointed in Burnley, Padiham and Pendle in May 2019. Edward Walton from the Burnley Civic Trust Heritage Image Collection talks about the Lottery funded project to restore thousands of images of Burnley’s past.
    In May, Cllr. Anne Kelly became Burnley’s new Mayor and after 39 years, David Farrar retired from the Town Hall staff. Painting for Padiham took place in May 2019 and Barry Kilby’s Prostate Cancer Appeal held one of their surgeries at Turf Moor attended by hundreds of men from Burnley. Burnley Fair took place in Queens Park and the Padiham On parade weekend took place in July with a fly-past and parade on the Sunday morning. Finally we close with the Classic Car Show from Towneley park

    Good videos. Have you got any footage regarding Michelin Burnley? The factory shut in 2002.
