Pacers fans were so pumped to see Granger come back from injury after PGs breakout year. I’ve been a pacers fan since 2004 when I was a freshman in high school and I’ve always been let down lol.
Loving this series, one suggestion for a topic, look into the 1980s Milwaukee Bucks, on an episode of Open Court back in the day the panel called them the best team in 80s not to win a title mainly because they didn’t have a true superstar but 80s Bucks in general would make for a great video, but if you want to stick with individuals I think Sidney Moncrief, Terry Cummings Jack Sikma or marques Johnson would make for great videos or maybe even Craig Hodges, with the theme of how prolific a 3 point shooter like he was could’ve been in todays era.
Sidney Moncrief was considered a elite all around player on those Bucks teams of the early 1980s, until knee injuries began slowing him down as time went on. Moncrief was also thought to been one of the leagues best players along with Magic, Bird and Dr. J, until Michael Jordan arrived into the league subsequently. Something lots of people today wouldn't know of, or care less about. Yeah, Milwaukee was one of top teams then, to couldn't quite get there either losing to the Sixers, or Celtics deep into the playoffs winning a few series between both here and there. It stands a reason why Moncrief finally gotten his due making the Hall of Fame now.
I have some player suggestions for you, love the channel: Bill Walton Otis Thorpe Corey Maggette Elton Brand A.C. Green Antawn Jamison Zach Randolph Shane Battier Shareef Abdur-Rahim Tony Allen Bill Laimbeer Jason Richardson Latrell Sprewell Kirk Hinrich Reggie Theus Dell Curry Kyle Korver Derek Fisher Andrei Kirilenko
I've been a loyal Pacers fan since 1987. They have had some good players, and good coaches, but usually not enough good players at the same time as good coaches. I would blame the "small market" and related smaller budget than the big city teams, but San Antonio proved that small market teams can have success at the highest level. I'm still hopeful they Pacers can rise to the level of achievement they attained in 1999/2000, or even surpass it.
i remember when he was picked up by the suns with their vaunted training staff to try and resurrect his career...never played a game, i knew he was done then, it was sad
George Hill was key to all of their contending teams wym? Kawhi would never have developed similarly on that team with Stephenson, Hibbert needing the ball.
Granger was a fantasy basketball hero!!!
dude averaged a steal and a block and 2 + 3s in an era where you don't see players sinking 2+ 3s a game. he was a first rounder back then in fantasy
If he never had injuries and the team never fell apart.... Would have made some finals appearances. Your videos are top notch brother!!

George Hill was key to all of their contending teams wym? Kawhi would never have developed similarly on that team with Stephenson, Hibbert needing the ball.

Smooth Scorer! NBA 2k cheat code lol
Retrospectively, I'd much rather have Peja on my team than Artest

I put Danny Granger, Rudy Gay and Tobias Harris all in the same class, 18-20 pt Small Forwards!
