CLASSIC.....kids now have no idea how good it was to grow up in the 80’s
It’s true, they may argue that they have more technology and connections but that’s the point. Sometimes it’s what you didn’t have, like cancel culture and stuff like that. Just every man or woman for themselves.
WOKE shit now
Yes sir as a generation z teen I can agree with you sir we didn’t have it as good and enjoyable as y’all did in the 80s awesome tv shows and cartoons you cant find stuff on tv like that anymore.
Oh I wish man. I tell you the things me and my fiends would do to grow up in the 80s
The 80,s were amazing
What makes this intro so good besides the fact it was a great show is that Lee Majors actually sung the song himself.
......................aaaannnd he really wasn't that bad a singer!
@@davidl570a mi me encanta esa canción
Didn't know that he sang that song. Pretty good if I do say so myself.
But man I love Heather Thomas. That's why I watched it. Just to see her
@@chriswright9218 I think a lot of us watched it because of Heather Thomas. She still looks pretty good in her 60s.
Like chuck norris sang walker Texas ranger
Never get bored of Heather Thomas's entry through those swing doors😍
When I was 12, that entry made my entire week. No 'pause', no VCRs back then. If you missed it, it was a whole week to wait 🤣🤣
❤❤❤
Even as a 5 yr old boy, seeing Heather Thomas in that bikini,I knew it was just RIGHT.
+baronvg - Yup, I wasn't older than that too :)
Ditto
I was also 5 in 1982 - the whole time this show was on I pretended to love the song so my parents would always call me out into the family room when the intro was playing...when all I really wanted to see was Heather Thomas.
Yep, she was "my first girl" in so many ways at my very young age, if you know what I mean 😎 ...
*God save the rewind-button !!* 😁😍
Haha...same here! I didn't like girls at this age (I was five too), but damn, this was unlike anything I had ever seen.
They don't make Tv shows like this anymore. The 80's those were the days. 😢
Not enough woke perhaps... Just saying
Thank you Ryan Gosling for introducing me to this Classic ❤❤
That moment when he jumps his truck in front of the Porsche 911 is iconic.
I know right , I loved that truck 🛻
That scene has lived in my head for 40+ years!
@@edaxsachorwzky8898 I’m making my 83 k10 a tribute truck
He gets some air doesn’t he?!
Same!!@@toddjolly8543
I miss this era of tv. This was one of my favorite tv themes.
@49 Keyz Beats Yes it does. Got me singing it again. :)
Easily one of the best themes for a show tbh...so good
For me it was this song and the theme to Simon and Simon. Two best ever
One of best Intros ever made!
One of my all-time favorite tv intros
why is there NOTHING on Tv like this for our kids anymore? a truly golden age back then.
Totally true Richard
today kids grew up with "reality" TV , they don't actually know how awesome TV used to be
100 per cent buddy. The late 70's & eighties had all the best shows. There's nothing like this now
Richard Coles
I'm 22 and I used to watch this show together with my Dad on VHS. I really love it.
Well it's cuz "todays kids" are tricky....the girls act like they have dicks, and the guys get new tits, and you can't call a guy "sir" or a woman "mam" and be sure that they'll treat it as a sign of respect....Now there are 100 "genders", and "pronouns" are a "thing", and sadly, it's only gonna get worse from here on out....
I miss this show. There's still nothing quite like the 80's. Awesome TV shows that were unique and entertaining. Today's TV shows are not the same.
I'm 18. I discovered this show just over a year ago when ITV4 in the UK were showing it in the mornings. One day I stayed off of college because I was sick and nothing else was on, so I put this on. I was hooked immediately. The first episode I watched was the Season 2 pilot, a longer episode which was absolutely a good thing! Straight after watching that episode I wanted more, and so I headed to Amazon to see if there were box sets about. I found Season 1 and Season 2 on DVD and asked for both for my birthday - quite possibly my favourite ever present. It shows that even some of us youth of today still favour the shows from before we were born to the rubbish they show nowadays! ITV4 show Magnum PI at the moment and I've become hooked on that too! Amazon again, it seems! :)
That's such a good story. So many people were hooked on the 80's TV series back then. To hear someone finding them in this day and age is awesome and heartwarming. Have a good one and enjoy the good ones.
This was me 8 years ago too, I was 16 then. I miss watching them so much and wish they’d put The Fall Guy and Magnum PI on again.
nice one boy. i wonder what would you say watching america's greatest hero or original 21 jumpstreet shows. 80's were a great time to be a kid for sure!
Just scroll to 0:58. Those 2 seconds of Heather Thomas in a bikini defined the entire 80s.
Fantastic set of milkers on it.
@@DAVEDEATH1000 she's 61 and killin' it
Yes it does.
In the words of Lee majors himself, fall guy was a modern day western and heather thomas was the last of tvs cowgirls or as my late friend from Vermont would say fall guy was a tried and true redneck show
Amen👍
Absolutely LOVE this. This is a very early childhood memory for me, which makes time travel possible for a few short sweet moments. TV is rotten nowdays. Glad that someone still has this show preserved forever.
Me too. I agree with your you.
I can watch this over and over. Never gets old
Ikr
God bless you Lee Majors. You are forever the original Fall Guy.❤ I grew up watching you on tv.
I remember rushing home after school everyday looking forward watching this. I missed those simpler 80's days.
He was a stuntman, and a bounty hunter! The 80’s were great!!
He was a guy doing a dangerous job for which he didn't make enough money to live, needing a second job.
Your generation barely survived.
This song always lives rent free in my head❤talk about the nostalgia
I Used To Watch This Every Week!
The 80’s Rocked 😂!
How many others ended up here after jumping from 80's intro to 80's intro?
Db Max - I do...
Tales from the Darkside led me here.
I ended up here from the fall guys game trailer
Boy. This brings back memories. I used to have a poster of Heather Thomas on my wall.
She still is a great woman.
Thumbs up if you went to full screen mode when you knew the Heather Thomas scene was coming up
Love the line "I've been seen with Farrah!"
Today the theme song would be 2-3 commercials and a cold-open
Markie Post at 1:27
Looking so beautiful..
Rest in peace Markie Post
I love this version of all The Fall Guy intros. This one is GREAT!
Damn, heard they were remaking this as a film and it made me search for this - first time seeing the intro in 35 years! What great times these were❤
It concluded 38 years ago if you can imagine it!
The fall Guy, Street hawk, The A-team…..this is what Saturdays were made of in the 80’s
DUDE!!! i just told joblo in their what happed to the fall guy video they just posted they should do one on Street Hawk!!!!!!!!!!
It only took 32 years for me to notice Heather Thomas was carrying a handbag when she came through the doors :)
1:25 - Kid - "You'll never catch a Porsche."
Colt - "Not even with 4 wheel drive?"
The 80's when men were men and the women were stunning.
And natural.
Not all men were men and not all women were stunning.... just like now... and also, some women were fake back then.
Amen to that .
Women were also a lot more hairy which I don't miss in the slightest 😂
@@Z1000SX_Matt If you're referring to what I think, speak for yourself, bud.
Incredible. "I've never been with anything less than 9..." Proof Gangsta Rap and Country are very close cousins.
It's all about the confidence and attitude
That sounded stupid!never put rap and country in the same sentence unless you want to jeopardize yourself and put justin bieber led zeppelin in the same field of music🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Only took me 35yrs to realise the guy riding on the helicopter skid wasn't even a stuntman - it was the actor James Coburn in Sky Riders.
They don't do stunts like that anymore. So cool - very effective!
Nope. Everything now is cartoonish CGI. Give me the analog stunts of "The Fall Guy" era any day.
Came across this series in the wee hours of the morning and it brought back a flood of childhood memories. Of course I’m about to binge watch the series from start to finish. 😄
So many great action shows from the 80s.
When shows were proper with proper theme tunes. The 80s had the best TV! But as much as it makes me smile, it also makes my heart break a little. Miss being a kid in the 80s
Probably nobody cares but I was a little kid back then, met Douglass Barr at one of those car shows and got his autograph. He was exactly like Howie (really nice guy) in real life. I also got an autograph from a Playboy bunny that day too, and saw KITT sitting on one of those rotating floors. The 80's were awesome! I wish we had more shows like this one today.
This is the best quality in video and audio of all the Fall Guy intros that have been uploaded. I've finally got one that I'm happy with so thanks so much for sharing this!
Seriously, the truck jumping over the 911 has lived rent free in my mind since I was a kid
fall guy was awesome. people don't know how good we had it on tv in the 80s.
Don’t forget, that’s Lee Majors singing that song!!
Which makes the bit about Farah Fawcett so much better.
What a show. Used to love this.
Damn…nostalgia. I don’t care what was going on in the world at the time; those were better days and it completely rocked being a kid back then.
One of the greatest entro songs ever!
I was born in 79 but I remember watching this show. It ended in 86 I believe. But I enjoyed what I can remember.
i was just a kid when this came out. I always thought this was the coolest intro ever and couldnt wait to grow up.
Many kids broke their legs jumping off high walls watching this show
Mamu Hanzo I was one of them!
And they are better for it....
And today kids are eating tide pods so
I cracked my head open trying to be spiderman (Nicolas Hammond films) then again after watching this show 80s TV still rules today's is crap
I drank 🍺 at 16
In after watching the movie and his cameo. That scene of the chopper and the car off a cliff made me remember a certain toy
When a I was just 9 years old I had this massive crush for Heather Thomas 😊
Best tv show intro ever. That Truck getting serious air is bad ass
if you remember this show you grew up in a golden time :) with an amazing childhood
One of the best from my childhood
I was thinking about the lyrics to this yesterday. Funny how I cam remember all the variations of it over the years evwn at the age of 45. I grew up watching The Fall Guy. It was a light hearted classic 1980s entertaining show....we had the best tv series back then. Even the theme tunes were great. Lee Majors was so understated in his humility as Steve Austin in The Six Million Dollar Man and in The Fall Guy he was far more light hearted. A nice man too.
came here after the trailer for the new movie to remember what this was like
Same here.
The movie brought me back here. Love em both. Hope its a new franchise, but nobody beats Lee Majors.
One of my favorite shows to watch as a kid. Definitely looking forward to watching the movie with Ryan Gosling when it hits theaters this summer!!!
RIP Markie Post.
Growing up watching this show is what inspired me to pursue a career in films and now I am an award winning stunt Coordinator and Stuntman! Thank you so much for giving me a path to follow! This song perfectly describes my life as of late, because after struggling in the business for over 20 years for my break, I finally landed a gig as the Feature stunt Performer in a short film and won multiple Awards, and as a result, I'm finally starting to climb the ladder in the business and my phone is now ringing off the hook with work from all over the world! Have my own phone number now, and recently was finally was able to move out of my mom's house and off her couch and into my very own place. She's very proud. She used to be frustrated, now she brags to her friends about her son being an award winning Stuntman in Films and eventhough I don't want her worrying, it's kinda nice hearing her constantly telling me "Baby, please be careful while you're working and don't get hurt!" I love sending her pictures with me and different stars I work with now and sending her souvenirs from different places I travel to around the world to do stunt work on Film, TV or stage! It's dangerous sometimes, but it's starting to get very fun being a Stuntman!
That's awesome, really happy for you. I read the first part of your post out loud and the missus looked you up... she didn't recognize anything but I told her you said you just got going. Anyways, good luck and God bless (and I hope to see your name in the future!)
I absolutely LOVED this programme back in the 80s
I used to watch this with my grandfather. Brings back memories I thought I forgot.
I used to love this show when I was little. Had a little crush on Howie.
used to love this back in the 80s
More '80s awesomeness!
How many times did you have to watch this before you realized Heather Thomas was holding a purse? ;-)
Lol, it's been 32 years and now I find out from you!
hahahhahahahahaha true i just knew in 2014
Purse, what purse?? LOL.
LOL! I have seen that intro sooo many times, and never even noticed.
admit it guys we were concentrating on something else
80s had the best tv themes and movie soundtracks 👍🏼
One thing you need to know about Lee Majors is that he never spent much time in school, but he taught ladies plenty !
The 70s,80s and 90s were great years for television. But now,it's all shit.
you have my vote on this
True.
Lee Jordan yeah mine too.
Tell me about it
Lee Jordan i add that the 60's and even some 50's shows were great shows.all i watch now are old reruns
Someone please hire Lee Majors again! Ah, the 1980s! Loved it!
One of faves shows ever brings me back to my happy childhood days how i love turn them back that when life was good unlike now.
This was one of my favorite theme songs back in the day--thanks for uploading this! Didn't know Markie Post from NIGHT COURT was on this---been years and years since I've seen the show, (when I was a kid) which I also liked.
How many people watching this just to see Heather Thomas 😂 fantastic
Thank you ryan gosling for this theme song 🎵
Damn this is goooood!!! I feel like telling my boss I won’t show up at work cause I got stuck in 1981 watching The Fall Guy 😄😄😄 Sorry boss!!!
Nice that Lee Majors is still alive and kicking. He looks great. Appeared in the new Dallas t,v, show.
Best TV Show Intro ever! Period.
Simmons, thanks for bringing back great memories.
Gosh....memories.
Man, that closing shot of the guy grabbing the rope ladder from the chopper right before the convertible goes over the cliff!!
As a kid I remember seeing the jet pack in the opening credits and being desperate to see that episode - as well as owning my own jet pack obviously.
c'mon Hollywood make all the seasons avail on dvd!!
35 now. My childhood was awesome!
everything is available today, including this show. if you know where to look. i looked. i found it. i was a disabled kid in the 80s. i am still disabled today, and my life is better in 2023. the past is rarely better for EVERYONE. i agree, the past is often better for SOME folks.
I was not yet born in the 80s, but I do remember watching this every morning back in like 2008-2009.
RIP 🪦 Markie Post!
Always wanted the truck....and heather Thomas.....I didn't get either....
OMG I'd go back in a second!
Yes, I believe the 80s had the best of everything. Movies...cartoons...toys....TV.....family....and I can get emotional going on and on.
was far too young to watch the show, but like Simon and Simon, the theme song was AWESOME, i was 6-7 years old!
Solid gold. Quality tv for everyone on Saturday early evenings.
I loved watching The Fall Guy on TV as a kid and listening to Lee Majors sing the theme song and looking at the opening credits and Heather Thomas in her light blue string bikini, very beautiful woman?
I still have my model of the pickup I got when I was 7. Damn long time ago
Ah the 80s when sitcom intros took up a third of the time slot.
And this folks was an era of classics and happiness. Today we live in a society of division, misery, and lack of art. Send me back. I’ll take the 80’s in a heartbeat
Who’s here because of the new Ryan Gosling Fall Guy movie? ☝🏾
I really want a Ryan gosling cover of this song.
This show is one of the few bad ass MEN shows! I miss those days in my past...
I miss the 80's
I idolized this show as a kid... Still want that truck
later when I saw Dirty Mary crazy Larry I realized where I had seen that green Dodge hitting the train from here.
I like the song but I want to cry every time I see that "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry" scene of the yellow 1969 Dodge Charger being destroyed running into that train! I would kill for a 1969 or 1968 Dodge Charger!
