Overall it is an accurate description of Albania for those particular topics that were covered in this short video. I love the fact that you included the “xhiro”, Mercedes (we refer to it as Benz), and coffee lifestyle, yes that’s us lol. I want to clarify one thing about the food and the lack of McDonalds in Albania, for those who are wondering or plan to visit Albania but are worried about not finding some good-delicious comforting food. Money aside (to buy a McDonalds franchise) guys Albania offers so many choices of comfort food that frankly McDonalds would have a difficult time surviving there. I live in N.A believe me when I say McDonalds is garbage food and if you know you know. The main comfort food or “traditional “ food in Albania is not the burger but rather the “qofte” (similar to meatballs) or Chevapi as it is known in North America (coming from Bosian language). In addition, Albania offers tons of independent non branded fast foods for burgers, souvlaki etc so believe me when I say there’s tons of those in every corner. Matter of fact if I see a Mcdonalds in Albania or any other chain for that matter I wouldn’t go in there even if it was for free. If you go to Albania and want to experience the culinary arts don’t go there for the burgers or the mcdonalds (go to NY for that) go for the qofte, byrek, ferges, raki (alcoholic drink) home made food, fresh meat and fish, and “village style” experience where you get traditional food tasting amazing and for a very cheap price (compared to other European countries or N.A). In short, Albania will offer you amazing food, amazing travel experience (from mountains and trails thousands of ft above the sea level to white sand beaches only a few hrs away from each other ). Enjoy it and have fun there! On a separate note, Thanks to those who made this video and for informing outsiders about our small but awesome country!

Dated an Albania girl once. Took 2 yrs to meet her Dad. Only until after the U.S. defended Albania when Yugoslavia broke up he actually seemed to appreciate & respect living in America. Us white boys may not know where Albania is, though wow, the people sure are amazing and worth our protection.

Well done for the video. As per number of Albania in Greece is not true they where from 1992 to 2005 after that lots of Albania left for EU countries. As Greece government of Greece are very racist to words Albanias so the left for EU.

Very wrong about history, Albania was with Germany and Italy in WW2.
Go to school and learn history , albania fight against them and a lot died in ww2
No, we were definitely not aligned with Nazi Germany and Italy in World War II. The Albanian partisans fought against Nazi Germany in World War II. We know from personal experience, because two of them were my own grandfathers, which fought in the war against Germany and were shot three times, but luckily survived. We lost 28,000 World War II heroes fighting against Nazi Germany. Such a small country to lose 28,000 people within three or four years it was a big deal. We definitely were not aligned with them. There was a division of Albanian Kosovars that participated with an SS battalion, which participated with the only purpose in mind to kill as many Serbians as possible and they had absolutely no military value added to Balkan’s Wehrmacht Divisions, as per comments of German commanders at the time in the region. Officially as a country and as a state, ( which we were already organized and Independent since 1912 ), and fully independent we were not aligned with Nazi Germany and Mussolini’s Italy.
