  • Pure pond bomb are they any good??
Well Iv used them before and the answer to the question is……… They are amazing.
Iv used them a few times you can not over treated a pond so you are good to go with a small pond as well!
They are Safe to use and it will not harm your fish any aquatic life frogs, toads, newts ect
With a large pond you will need more that one so take a look at the size of your pond to what it will treat. My pond is close to 4000 Litres so a good size.
With the work Iv done this last week around the pond with a Side that let water out and dirt into the pond, the wife was less that happy with or relaxing area not looking the best!!
So a pond bomb was ordered at 7pm and by 11 am the next day it was at the house, got to love Amazon Prime.
I would recommend a pond bomb to anyone they work so well, with Amazing results from them.
You can do as I did put them Straight into the pond. Or you can put them into your filter. Iv personally found putting them into the pond Iv got better Results. But that a Personal choice.

@@theurbanghost no problem, I’ve run this alongside my filter uv filter, so it might take a few days but mine is quite at cleaning the pond when I need one.
      Good luck with it.

Bloomin heck that pond bomb is amazing, what a difference in clarity in such a short time. I think you have used one of these in an earlier video too, I seem to remember. Great work Stuart.

    I used 1 PondBomb and 1 SludgeBomb 2 days ago in a 17m3 pond.
I don't see any difference at all, as if nothing has happened :/

@@MartinGilmour give it time, they have updated and used a new and improved version
Imo the old one was better. But they both do the same, in time.
Do you run a uv and a filter alongside side with you pond?
If not plant mint into the pond this is one of the best to help clear the pond but it will spread very easily so keep it in pots and cut it back well and often to help this.
      Hope this helps you.

Great video. I have a few very small wildlife ponds with no filters or aerator. I rely on oxygenator plants to keep it healthy. Unfortunately, I have a massive tree that loves putting leaves in the water, this has led to decaying organic matter at the bottom of the ponds and is starting to make them smell stagnant.
Im going to give these bombs a go to try and help. My question is - Is it possible to half the bomb and share it between ponds? My ponds are nowhere near 20,000L, so feel if i drop a full bomb in one pind, it would be a waste.
    What are your thoughts?
    TIA.

Ok so you can not over treat the pond with one, as for splitting them I don’t know how easy it will be. They do also so I tub with lots and lots of small one in it
As you are adding them to 2 ponds personally I would go down this route.
      Hope this helps you out.

Thank you for your support, Iv used the small ones as well but found they came out my filter. So a easy fix was to put them in side some of the kids old School tights, I use they for a few different bit around the garden.
When they come home from school with ladders in them deep down inside my there is a little party as Iv know I can still use them

I've got high nitrate levels , was advised to add one of these . Fingers crossed 🤞

    • @DiggingwithDallas
      @DiggingwithDallas  5 місяців тому +1

Before add for that reason I’ll ask why you have higher nitrate??
      Possibly over feeding.
Personally I’ll hold back on food for a day or so than add it in slowly they will still eat and eat if they are koi and goldfish but the pond temperature can only handle so much poo with the temperature we have at the moment in the uk.
Then add one add it in to your filter this should help you out
Hope all this helps if you need any more help just ask.

Does this help with ammonia and nitrate levels aswell as it says it on box but got told it just makes pond clear

    • @DiggingwithDallas
      @DiggingwithDallas  2 роки тому

It will help clear the pond, what it will do with the ammonia and nitrate levels it’s full of Life bacteria so will help them if your ammonia is really high stop feeding the fish for a few days, they will be fine. They will eat stuff that’s already in the pond, then feed them once a day and build back up to what your feed now. Most fish food increases ammonia levels only slightly so by stopping feeding it will lower it again.
Hope this help you Ryan anything else please ask away and I’ll do my best to help you.
