I genuinely love how the biggest running joke, spanning the course of all 5 conscious days you spend in Martinaise, leads to one of the most genuinely beautiful and entrancing moments in the entire game
For me it is a series of half-lit images. A kind of darkness, being intruded upon. Transient. Dim. Moist. Shapes of plants and animals. And *internal* sensations. A swarm of sounds, tiny vibrations on the inside of my forearms -- all speak of complexities totally beyond my understanding.
That shot of the phasmid looming over the two officers, rendered only as abstract, wavering squiggles is just gorgeous. That angle was perfect. Amazing stuff
It took me a second watch to realize the squiggles were Harry and Kim. I love how his abstract form reaches out to touch the phasmid. What a wonderful animation!

Dude, towards the end on the boat ride, I thought for a moment the Cryptozoologists made those stories up and were just in-game folklore tales that added a little flavor to the world building. My jaw dropped seeing the Phasmid. It was insane!
