Over the last few years Jason and the ATF SPEED team have been huge part of my Supras success. Together we pushed the A340 further than we all thought possible. so an aem infinity cant run this tranny? i use aem for engine management and stock ecu for stock tranny
Correct it can’t. Only the v2 can do both
@@BalticSupraRacing so quick question can the original Toyota ecu be run parallel with the aem infnity to run the built atf a340 e or would i have to buy a separate transmission management. I wish atf speed would state what engine and transmission management is suitable for their built a340e on their website

your a340e times and power levels may very well never be beaten
For sure not going to be easy but with time someone will come around. When that day comes I’ll put it back in 😂

Thank you for answering about the aem! Can you go more in depth about varying ecu's controlling the transmission for example haltech, fueltech, ecumaster, proefi, and motec?

Great video! As requested: Next video please discuss the forever upcoming A340 with transbrake aka "Stage 5". I'd like a "Stage 3" with upgraded input shaft to allow a transbrake. I have zero need for a "Stage 4" (or beyond) internals. I do have much need for transbrake launches.
Discuss the best transmission fluid for a transmission like this.....synthetic versus dino....manufacturers.

I bay everything about stage 3 A340 for my Supra, expect the valve body when i send them soon,my question is.Can i bay the accumulators pins with springs, because i don't find them in the parts list.

I ran my atf speed stage 2 for 2 years and 6k miles, I beat the living shit out of it with zero issues what so ever

Does that cover the A340F? I notice that looks like the A340E. I ask cause my tacoma has the A340E that I'm bout to convert to the A340F for the 4x4 as well as maybe 1KZ-TE or 1UZ swap. I saw a 4runner with 1000+hp on TRC with a 2jz, and I'm aiming for the same but with a different engine.

I recently bought a SC300 with a 1JZ single turbo, it has the ATF a304e stage 2 transmission
I noticed when I put it in first gear the auto transmission still shifts to 2nd. I was trying to find a way to hold my gears longer until I shift it.

As far as a core, can I get one from a junkyard from like a gen 1 gs300, sc300, sc400, etc or does the core have to be from a GTE engine?
I got a genuine question for Jason for next episode Pedro (or if he can answer it here, either way). With these upgrades, is it exclusive to the A340 J3 gearbox from the Supra Turbo or can it work with the J1/J2 versions aswell from a Soarer/NA Supra? 🤷 I'm curious due to their input shaft differences. 🤔

Is this the same A340 found in the Toyota Tacoma automatics from the mid 90s?
Glad to see the enthusiasm and positivity ATF and Pedro are sharing with the A340. Use to really enjoy watching the earlier Baltic Supra smoke the competition in his auto. I've been running mine since 1999 first with Boost Logic and now with ATF stage 3 for the last 5 years using a ProEFI and couldn't be happier.
What is part # for the pan stiffener? I didn't find it on the website.

What could cause these to stop driving
So I have a mk3 with a 7m and a340e, what all would I need in order to do this to my trans and use it in my car when I build the engine? Like what ecu supports these auto transmissions?
Pro efi and haltech both support line pressure control

I would use AEM v2. I know Pro efi also works and even motec. Not sure on others

The small version is called U340E lol. It's for the Yaris 😂
This is the only time I've ever heard someone say that a red clutch handles more heat than a Borg Warner type green clutch.
Would this transmission work on the sc400? It uses the same trans.
We need to know more about what magt is needed to run these transmissions please.
