This was amazing. I could watch this for hours. Also, we've seen Lucy's camera presence and personality, now we've just seen her driving style. Definitely looking forward to more driving gigs.
I'm a bit old, and can remember when we all watched telly, on a telly. But, whilst still confused by watching telly on a flaptop, I realise this is far better than old fashioned telly. It makes sense to me. What I mean is, if old fashioned telly still exists, Lucy Brown should have her own show. cooking, driving, cameras, cars, etc. She has that knack...that bit of magic...to be understated yet in control, to make things interesting and make you want to find out more. Thanks Food tribe and Drive tribe for such fabulous posts and content, not forgetting the other gang members too. Just proper entertainment and grown up broadcasting. Ish. xx
Sweet Ride. Ya did well Lucy. I have been 4-wheelin with friends where it ended not as well. I would ride with you as long as I got a turn to drive that machine. Hell, I would ride with you in that just for the fun of it. Better than Disneyland any day.
It's a basic side by side, not really a racing setup... problem is average buyers won't take the time fiddling with the harness when popping in and out often, but they might with an easy car style belt... people that do "extreme" driving often or race them usually install a 4-5 point harness and often install stronger thicker chromoly roll cages 👍
If Lucy really enjoys side by side driving she should take a Vacation to Utah and rent a high end long travel Polaris/Can-Am/Yamaha UTV for a few days 👍 you can drive through snow caps on top of one the high elevation mountains with endless dirt/mud trails through the forest, go rock crawling over miles of solid rock, or blast through the giant wide open sand dunes, all while staying in one relatively small area of the state 🤯
In the States, those backward doors are called “suicide doors”. They open when they should stay closed and throw the driver and passenger outside the protection wall!

Great stuff, Lucy! Small tech point. When you and Tim were chatting, because you were sat on the left you had your voice coming from the left channel and Tim the right. This was a bit weird when looking towards you, as, obviously you were on the opposite sides to your voices. If you weren’t such a pro, I wouldn’t have bothered mentioning it 😉
