  • Once again, we are back at the netted disaster for round 2, which is the final round for this overgrown property. Last episode we got quite a bit done, this time we came out with the win and got what we set out to accomplish completed. We put another 4 hours into the job and took out another trailer load of rubbish. This is part 2 of 2.

    FAQ's:
    Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
    Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
    Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

This time I will give 5 stars and A+++ to both of you. While watching through the clean up process, I can't help myself shaking my head left to right. right to left. Can't believe the amount of net. Both of you deserve our praise with quality work so meticulous and fine that I have not seen in others clean up.
George ..... you still hold the trophy.

Very hard work, few would do this kind of clean up, so many can not afford the time it takes to keep a yard much less a garden. A full time gardener is what is required to keep a property clean and well groomed. Hey thanks for wearing me out Ha Hah. 🏡

What an amazing difference you both made to this place!! When the camera showed the view from the higher level I was astounded. Pretty cool. I hope whoever lives there will be able to give those trees some TLC now, like a good feed and keep on top of the pruning. I totally understand the birdnetting, but it wasn't erected properly for those trees. I'm sure they will feel so good with the sunlight and the rain on them and the bees and butterflies able to flit around and pollinate them. I was thinking what a nice place to have a backyard picnic once they leaf up a bit. Bravo to you both for your hard work.

The view is the best thing about that property, and the homeowner blocked it with an ugly fence and badly located trees! The orchard should be relocated, and that hideous fence should be replaced with one that is not solid. Kudos to you, though, for exposing the view!

My goodness, you live in a beautiful place! The view from that property is fabulous. Seriously hard work, and requiring a lot of brute force! Hope you are both ok after it all. That poor little fig tree really required a huge amount of rescuing, yet seemed pretty healthy overall. I hope you will be able to go back at the end of summer and show us what recovery the trees and grass have managed to achieve. Owner has got a lot more yard to work with now, that’s for sure. Great job, and video, as always. Thank you! 🇨🇦💕

You got to the end of that netting...must have been there two growing seasons or perhaps longer...surprising amount of dead wood, too! The fig tree looks really good! There’s Mylar streamers, like the Mylar balloons burn these are shiny Mylar streamers to keep the birds away from the garden. There’s other Mylar shapes to put out in a garden so it’ll stop pesky birds from taking over and a lot of vineyards yes Mylar to keep away birds from eating the grapes and seeds. I see it a lot at the vineyards here in California. 😁
