The words are from Ronan's mom, Taylor gave her writing credits, from my understanding Taylor has only sung this song a couple of times live. There is a music video with more pictures of Rona, his mom, and 2 older brothers. An update, Ronan's mom, gave birth to a baby girl about 2 years after Ronan died, her middle name is Ronan.

Had you done so, or whoever recommended it had given you a trigger warning, you may have avoided a blind reaction to it. I'm happy that didn't happen as this song deserves more respect and recognition by the GP for what it is... a beautifully composed bonafide tearjerker. Since writing this emotional bulldozer she's only performed it live twice. Once here for the Stand Up To Cancer nationally televised fundraiser event, and again in Phoenix while on her 1989 tour (because Ronan's mother, Maya, his Dad, two brothers, and sister were there). It's worth watching this performance too. Well worth the effort. She had a hard time getting through the song. Sucha wonderful tribute to 4 year old Ronan.
