Amen to your intro. Times are hard, food is expensive. People with decent jobs are struggling to stretch their pay check. People should just scroll on by and feel thankful if they can buy whatever they need/want.
Food banks do help families in need. My cousin receives WIC for her two small children. Where I live, there's mission that serves free dinners 7 days a week. I go there for dinner a couple times a week.
