Love that jellied cranberry, slap the can in the fridge, ready to go as a side. Was able to sign up at my local foodbank and got a 14.5 lb turkey and sides, picked it up today. Blessed!!. I am retired, and I live in the south central mountains of Pennsylvania. When winter cold & snow hits, the home delivery options offered by Walmart and Aldi are fantastic. No need to leave home.
I depend on the delivery. I've been without a phone again but a neighbor helped me. 2 weeks without milk 😢 thank goodness I picked up a turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy before hand or I wouldn't have had a Thanksgiving. 😊 Told you, you'd just love the delivery 😊❤
Amen Dale Im old too an have a hard time goin to Walmart . My sister turned me on to the delivery program an its so convenient for elderly or disabled. It works out really well. Its a life saver for me Florida loves Walmart delivery too . ❤ stay warm

Its especially great when your back pain is flared up and you have trouble moving around the house to get things done much less trying to get to the store to pick up things you need. Walmart doesn't deliver to my town here unless my status has changed. Two stores around or less than 20 miles away in different directions and we are considered too far away for delivery. Luckily Food Lion grocery chain does deliver here. We have two of those stores in/around our town so I get my deliveries from them. They only carry groceries so if I want non-food items I have to do a pick-up order from Walmart and take a taxi to get it, or if I'm feeling good just go walk around the store and shop, which always puts me mostly off my feet for a few days after. Sometimes you just want to get out and go someplace though, LOL.

I've had the Walmart membership for 2 years. It has free delivery. I have a bad back, and it's a blessing for big hauls. The person picking your order is usually the person delivering it. When you shop Walmart, you'll see the order pickers. I've had over 30 deliveries over the past 2 years, never a problem. You can substitute or not substitute if something is out of stock or with the yearly membership they can ship items out of stock to you for free(most Walmart products), not perishable. I am definitely renewing my membership this March. No delivering charges except tip ,free shipping on a ton of stuff ,early sales shopping, and several other perks. And fun fact about 85% of their Great Value products are name brand products. (I should charge Walmart for my ad lol) Shopped tells you number if items your ordered , my last shop was 112 items 2 not shopped(out of stock) good luck with it I love it .
I absolutely loved using the Walmart delivery some years ago I was working full time and had a bad knee and it was pretty miserable trying to work 13 hours and walking around shopping then I had knee surgery so I absolutely loved it!! The drivers are like contractors and they really appreciate cash tips when possible sometimes I guess they said Walmart doesn’t give them their tips. I don’t pay for a subscription any more now that I’m retired but I really love the curbside pickup now. Hey dale you can also look at your app and there’s a place you can go to and see recipe ideas !! I’ve recently discovered that part! I’m only 7 minutes from our Walmart!! I remember seeing the little car making their way to the house lol I thought that was pretty cool ❤ iv been buying that brown gray mix too and they also have a turkey gray mix as well. I’ve typed in 1.00$ food items when I’m looking to order my groceries and you’d be surprised at all the dollar items and below!!

If you leave an extra 5 dollar tip, and become a regular delivery, your delivererers will love you. Some of the Uber-eats people earn extra income by doing these deliveries, and your (little bit) extra tip helps them a lot.

Love Walmart delivery. Irish twins here under the age of three and a 75 year old needing a walker to get around. Have never had an issue. Can’t imagine not being able to use it. Lol
I have been using Walmart delivery for two years, has really helped me since I have mobility issues. I never add the tip in, I always mark it as zero and tip the person in cash. I’ve had really good service with home delivery here in east central Indiana. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🦃
I'm around the same age as you are. I never had home delivery but I have a three wheel electric trike that I can get a good 30 miles out of on a full battery charge. It has a basket that I have a Rubbermaid container I carry my food home in. I have a freezer in my garage that I load with 8 gallons of milk and frozen meat. I have a corner convenience store but can't afford their jacked up price.

When I was with Door Dash we did have wal mart orders pop in. Took em in the beginning but came to realize orders were not ready for pick up, long waits, took away from getting more orders elswhere. They have their own employees also.
My daughter cook up my turkey last Wednesday so we took it off the bone. And I use some for lunch meat. And I am going to make turkey sandwich to .Thank you for the idea. I will make stuffing and mash potatoes I like the beets and boil egg I love that I made whole pickles yesterday. I don't have a roasting pan that why my daughter made my turkey.
I’m sure you know but your total has to be at least 35.00 or there’s a service fee. Also you Can up or down your tip under the custom app. I love this service, it helps a lot.
Here Wal Mart contracts a delivery company called Spark to do their deliveries. I love it! You're right Dale, makes it too easy 😆. Looks like a great haul.
I use the stovetop for my dressing as well. I just doctor it up with sausage and mushrooms and use chicken broth instead of water. People always ask for the recipe but I always tell them it's a secret. 😊
I love it. I go when my daughter and grandkids need to go. I tips and they sit it in the door and take a picture. They would put it in the kitchen but I don’t need that. I just look out the window when they get here. I haven’t had but one thing that they didn’t deliver and they put it back on my card and I just reorder it.
I always have good results with delivery at Walmart. I do request no dented cans there's a lot of dented cans at our store. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your mom. Stewie will love her Turkey.
We also have deliveries like this in Australiam metro areas and it is very handy. $6 is fair coz that is the price of gas and also the time for someone to collect the items off the shelf......where I live the work for the supermarket directly.
Might be insta cart? Tip is worth the savings on gas. I only cook a turkey so I can make soup out of the bones. U got a lot for that. I may have to see if it’s available for me. I like the idea of not spending my little bit of free time shopping. I can stay home and let someone else shop for me. I did get Walmart plus. Hi Dale. Yup, got to treat self on Thanksgiving, for that's what it is all about and giving thanks to the earth's bounty. I tried whole berry cranberry sauce and prefer it, but I love it either way. Your Wal mart is way way less in price ,than my Walmart in my state ,those brown gravy which I bought same brand and I played 1.28 per pack and that stuffing I played 3.98 and the cranberry sauce I played 3 .78 per can ,No I dont live in Alaska I live in the Southwest. I use it when the weather is bad or I’m not feeling well! Right now Kroger has a lot of specials going on. Now the butter was only $2.99. Canned goods are like $1.00 apiece which is great.frozen veggies are $1 apiece.

Spark is the outside company here that does Wal-Mart shopping and delivery. Just so you know, you can choose the tip you wish to give. Just tap on where it says the word custom and you type in what you want to tip. One thing to just keep in mind is to check over your groceries good. At times I've gotten expired items or some that were mushy / going bad real soon. I know it can happen in this big world of convenience,but you can get a refund if that happens too.
@vickier5716 No ma'am, Spark isn't Wal-Mart. They are a separate company contracted out to shop at Walmart stores. I also get delivery from Walmart and I've spoken to several of the people and they've all said that they don't work for Walmart.
You are correct. spark is owned by Walmart… but it could be more closely compared to Amazon Flex. We are contract workers. It’s really just a trick the company plays to avoid labeling people as employees so they don’t qualify for benefits or wages.

I live 25 minutes from Walmart and they deliver to my house. They charge $9 to deliver to me but I pay for Walmart+ so they deliver to me for free. Walmart hires shoppers for the pickup and deliver. So the ones who deliver just pick it up and go deliver it. The drivers are hired by an outside company and make pretty good money. At least the Walmart here uses an outside company to deliver but it's not doordash or uber.
DoorDash delivers here. Also you can customize the tip, so if you want to tip less you can. I order a lot of delivery so it benefits me to pay the $13 a month to get free delivery
I recently started using Walmart delivery. Most of the time it's been great, but a couple times they forgot some items. Had to notify them and wait for a refund. It would have been quicker & easier if they would have just brought those back to me, lol. Just wondering why you don't do any food bank hauls anymore? Hope you have a great week!
I was told The walmart here Hires independent drivers to your house. So dont assume they work for walmart. Some delivery drivers dont even talk much English, And im NOT Comfortable with them coming into my house. So they leave them at the door.....i just want to feel safe....
Hi Dale I use instacart for my grocery delivery. Love not having to grocery shop at the store fighting crowds and weather. I also have a mobile groomer for my little poodle. Love staying home when it’s cold. Great haul. Yes it’s nice to just home and wait for a delivery. Keep it up. I’m with you on the turkey and cranberry sauce. Eat the sauce all year long especially with chicken and Stove Top .

I use the stovetop for my dressing as well. I just doctor it up with sausage and mushrooms and use chicken broth instead of water. People always ask for the recipe but I always tell them it's a secret. 😊

I love it. I go when my daughter and grandkids need to go. I tips and they sit it in the door and take a picture. They would put it in the kitchen but I don’t need that. I just look out the window when they get here. I haven’t had but one thing that they didn’t deliver and they put it back on my card and I just reorder it.

We also have deliveries like this in Australiam metro areas and it is very handy. $6 is fair coz that is the price of gas and also the time for someone to collect the items off the shelf......where I live the work for the supermarket directly.
Might be insta cart? Tip is worth the savings on gas. I only cook a turkey so I can make soup out of the bones. U got a lot for that. I may have to see if it’s available for me. I like the idea of not spending my little bit of free time shopping. I can stay home and let someone else shop for me. I did get Walmart plus. Hi Dale. Yup, got to treat self on Thanksgiving, for that's what it is all about and giving thanks to the earth's bounty. I tried whole berry cranberry sauce and prefer it, but I love it either way. Your Wal mart is way way less in price ,than my Walmart in my state ,those brown gravy which I bought same brand and I played 1.28 per pack and that stuffing I played 3.98 and the cranberry sauce I played 3 .78 per can ,No I dont live in Alaska I live in the Southwest. Spark drivers do not work for Walmart. They are 1099 contractors.. similarl to DoorDash and Uber.
I use it when the weather is bad or I’m not feeling well! Right now Kroger has a lot of specials going on. Now the butter was only $2.99. Canned goods are like $1.00 apiece which is great.frozen veggies are $1 apiece.

Spark is the outside company here that does Wal-Mart shopping and delivery. Just so you know, you can choose the tip you wish to give. Just tap on where it says the word custom and you type in what you want to tip. One thing to just keep in mind is to check over your groceries good. At times I've gotten expired items or some that were mushy / going bad real soon. I know it can happen in this big world of convenience,but you can get a refund if that happens too.
@vickier5716 No ma'am, Spark isn't Wal-Mart. They are a separate company contracted out to shop at Walmart stores. I also get delivery from Walmart and I've spoken to several of the people and they've all said that they don't work for Walmart.

You are correct. spark is owned by Walmart… but it could be more closely compared to Amazon Flex. We are contract workers. It’s really just a trick the company plays to avoid labeling people as employees so they don’t qualify for benefits or wages.

I live 25 minutes from Walmart and they deliver to my house. They charge $9 to deliver to me but I pay for Walmart+ so they deliver to me for free. Walmart hires shoppers for the pickup and deliver. So the ones who deliver just pick it up and go deliver it. The drivers are hired by an outside company and make pretty good money. At least the Walmart here uses an outside company to deliver but it's not doordash or uber.

DoorDash delivers here. Also you can customize the tip, so if you want to tip less you can. I order a lot of delivery so it benefits me to pay the $13 a month to get free delivery

I use instacart for my grocery delivery. Love not having to grocery shop at the store fighting crowds and weather. I also have a mobile groomer for my little poodle.
Love staying home when it’s cold. Great haul. Yes it’s nice to just home and wait for a delivery. Keep it up. I’m with you on the turkey and cranberry sauce. Eat the sauce all year long especially with chicken and Stove Top .
