Saw Yesterday & Today! In 1978 in Alameda at the veteran's hall! They were huge in the Bay Area, I lost track of how many times I saw them. Petaluma, Oakland, Concord, San Francisco, you name it.
Dave Meniketti is an absolute rock legend. Top rate performer and extremely talented as a musician and vocalist. Never understood why Dave and Rik Emmett of Triumph didn't get more respect. Total legendary artists.
@KingKull1971 Y&T and Riot were my favorite bands growing up, Riot had the worst luck most of their band members died before 60 some in their 40s Y&T only 2 made it past 60 way to young if you ask me.
was that at the palladium ? i saw the Comet at the Paradise Boston and , you wont believe this .. i saw White Lion at the channel in Boston .. I been to a thousand shows and that was the loudest i ever been to .. I seen the the top four in clubs and Spinal tap live at The Channel and WL was at a 30 on the volume dial .. weird
Saw White Lion open for Frehleys Comet at the Newport in Columbus Ohio….way the before the show I was out back smoking with Vito Bratta and I really had no idea who he was, but he was very nice and we were just hanging out in the alley - a couple dudes with some Marlboros and a nice little chat.
I saw this band so many times in San Fran back in the 80’s. Y&T never got the recognition they deserved. This band kicks ass!
