I've gotta get mine out again this weekend or next. Been getting through my wood stack over the colder days, and realise I need to chain saw some of those larger pieces that don't easily split. Stored the chain in a jar with the remaining bar oil to avoid rusting so should be good to go.

@@mumanddadsbackyardorchard5680 That's excellent! I just got through cutting a bunch of large branches that I got from the forest almost 8 months ago. Very pleased with the chain saw. Ozito make some good gear.
BTW do you recommend draining the oil if not using for about a few weeks?

Sorry jakeboynz, just realised you asked a question at the end of your reply. Yes recommend draining oil if storing away. Depending on how it's stored, it might drip out if left in the reservoir. I pour in to a jar, and put the chain in to stop rusting. When setting up again, i pour it all back in so no wastage.

This was excellent mate. I bought an electric one but was too chicken to test it. Thank you very much. Keep making videos as U are extremely good @ it.

Thanks Vicki. Yes it was daunting using it for the first time, but holding firmly gloves and eyewear, U get used to it pretty quick. Enjoy!

I try to buy one in NZ and ph Bunnings special order in Porirua no one came back to me 3-4 mths ago. You can only buy 18 volt now not 36 volt. Gave up trying to get one.

Thanks Tirzah. I certainly had a fun time learning how to chainsaw myself. Saves me heaps of time with the log splitting and handsaw that's for sure.

Any oil leaking issues from the main case ?

Hi Timmy. The main case is expected to leak a little. When you store it, you need to drain out the oil, but if you transport it, make you sure it is sitting on newspaper because a small amount is likely to drop out. Chain saws are designed like this and it has to do with the way the way the oil is dispersed on the chai. From recollection the instructions said something to this effect. I hope that helps.

      @@mumanddadsbackyardorchard5680 Hi and Merry Christmas.
I am very happy with the saw and used alot over a few days, i uploaded a short video to YT if you have to watch it. Is that normal for oil to leak ?.

@@o0FranklySpeaking0o thanks. I hope you likewise have a great holiday. There is a note in the operating instructions that says: Chain bar oil may leak if the tool is left for long periods. My understanding is a little bit of a leak is normal due to its design, but it shouldn't be copious..perhaps a few drops here or there. I drain mine to store knowing it will gradually drip out
