I can't see the majority crafting multiple URs for such a short event, but I guess it's nice to be roach free for a couple days. I might stick to Lab, just add back the missing furniture and it's good to go.
That's what I did, but people kept surrendering to my non engine interruptions, such as imperm and nibiru. In three duels, I didn't get to activate a single Lab card.

Dragons reign supreme. Chaos Ruler is forbidden but the baby Chaos Dragons are legal (limited but you don't play them at more than one anyway) and triple Druiswurm feels like a breath of fresh air.
kinda wish it was a full event and not a trial but the biggest cope ive seen is "they are testing the waters without MAX C" but its just TCG theme because Gold pride was TCG exclusive just like all the loaners also Floo is pretty much full power in this trial
I'm seeing Maxx C swapped with Droll with the rest of a deck mostly unchanged so its not exactly a transformative format. That said, I am on Dinomorphia because its notoriously unplayable in TCG due to a Best of 3 so its cool to see it work without penalty of working on low life points game 3
There definitely needs to be more events that allow for Branded, its such an incredibly underrepresented deck and almost never shows up in ranked. Everytime I have to duel against the deck my eyes rolls back in pleasure from the encounter and I know you all do the same.
I am just using lab and grind it for the daily missions, need the gems for rhe diabell cope. Also, that random nibiru not knowing it'll end up with a billion bodies on the field afterwards

Nibiru is stomping most of decks that cannot spill out a negate before 5th Summon, plus it's best of 1 so it's hard to prepare for it, but it's either best hand trap or worst if opponent runs a deck that does not summon a lot, that balances Nibiru, maxx C is just inevitable compared to it. Overall: much better format than what we have.
I can finally play Purrely again. I'm loving this event. Purrely is the most nerfed it ever was on Master Duel, and it doesn't even have small Noir, no wonder all of us switched to different decks.
Finished 3-0 using Vanquish Soul. First duel vs. Gold Pride: my opponent timed out. Second duel was Mirror Match: opponent quit after ONE misplay. Third duel vs. Swordsoul: my opponent could not get over the Nibiru Token he gave me. ...What a joke...
That Vanquish Soul player made me so mad lol. He could have sniped your normal summon, activated the trap for a raigeki and a Razen summon, search another earth to tag out for Valius pop. My man had so many options and still threw. I swear half the reason people think Vanquish Soul is bad in TCG is because people suck at playing it.
Man, if they could just temporarily spot us the URs we can't use in the standard format this would be cool. No Maxx "C", 3 pressured planet, 3 emergency teleport sounds amazing. I hope they actually start supporting other formats, because that would be a huge Konami W.
Lab. went against 2 branded and a DM deck. 3-0 with both branded players quitting immediately. Not sure why either...only used skill drain and virus with dimensional barrier😂
When my opponent started to code talker wambo combo me and i didnt open nib or droll and maxx c is AWOL. Just reinforced how maxx c is a symptom of a shxtty game and not the actual issue.
When my opponent was playing Manaddium and combo'd off and I opened the DRNM that I swapped Maxx C out for it just reinforced my belief that Maxx C ain't needed and I can actually now enjoy the game without being punished for going second.
Most decklists just have Nib in the maxx c slots which is a much more fair combo deterrent and doesn't necessitate running 3+ other cards to sometimes not auto lose to it
This is definitely not the best event. shit the theme duel was way better. I finished this event first 15 minutes it was live. The more gems the better the event in my opinion. With how hard it is to pull UR cards. They need to have events like that. Themed Chronicles every other week or something.

The only reason anyone likes this event is soley due to maxx c being banned. But at the end of the day all u got was 1 crappy pack compared to the last event were we got 30-40 packs worth of gems

Tbf Branded did nothing during this format in TCG with basically no hits.
If Duel live is anything to go by, Branded has a significant barrier to entry in the Timer.
