When I see this....all I can do is Thank God that I am lucky enough to have a wonderful son....never gave me a problem, ever...he's 21 next week. I feel so fortunate...and so sad for this mother on the stand.
He's been on his own since age 19. When I say he's "home"...he's here from out of town visiting me for a couple days. It's sad that you think because a young adult is serious about life and not a drunk or drug addict that they're a Mama's boy...very sad for you and any children you may have.
Really? Seems like you might be a bit jealous of the young man. That's the only reason you would post such a stupid comment. Maybe you should take a break from UA-cam and get a life.
Bargo's mother will be too busy basking in vindication to have space left for devastation, as for heartbreak it looks like she's got complete immunity to that. Admittedly, I can't be sure about this, but that's the type of character she appears to have.
Unfortunately no her child was not raised in a loving home he grew up witnessing domestic abuse and has no empathy her husband was garbage her son is garbage it's tragic. Her husband had no right to abuse her her son had no right to kill some "friend" of his but that's what assh*les do anyway.
I know this lady chose the wrong man and there are so many consequences of her choice yet my heart goes out to her...so much pain in her eyes, may God bless her yet, lessen her suffering, heal her brokenness.
My grandfather was abandoned by his father and his mother. At 3 years of age, he was dumped on a sadistic great uncle, who lived in filthy, horrible conditions. My grandfather was starved, beaten, neglected when he was sick-- to the point of death, exposed to the elements, worked to the bone, thrown into the mines to work as a young child... He grew up to be the most wonderful, loving, gentle, generous men on the face of the earth. THERE ARE NO MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES FOR WHAT THIS GUY AND HIS FRIENDS DID TO SEATH JACKSON! I vote for an eye for an eye for sadistic murderers. Edit: Someone just added a reply. He pointed out that he, too, overcame abandonment, homelessness, poverty, and a host of other challenges. Take a look at the reply.
I was raised the same way by a step father who abused me cause I wasn't his son. But I didn't turn out that way. I have add adhd and a whole list of other things thst I have doctors for. I don't even take meds for it. Yet I'm not out murdering ppl. There is no excuses. The dude did csuse he was beat up in front of ppl by a 15 year boy and his ego was torn. The death penalty is to easy for Mike Bargo. The parents of Seth Jackson should be the ones to take his life. But they won't cause unlike zMikd Bargo they don't just kill people to kill people.
My father did this with one of my brothers. Encouraged him to give my mother a hard time and NEVER corrected the disrespectful behavior despite my mother pleading with him to stop. My mother and brother still have a strained relationship. That is damaging and evil
My ex-husband did the same thing to my relationship with my son. Ex took control of his young mind, coerced him with money & produced endless rants about what a "terrible" person I am because I left him for cheating, lying & stealing from our bank accounts. Now I have no relationship with the son with whom I was SO close for 12 years. And it all boils down to mind control. Parental alienation is real.
I feel bad for her. . She seems sweet and like a good mom, she tried. You can tell she's completely gutted by everything with Michael and his father, not to mention being at trial for her son murdering a 15 year old kid. Praying for her strength
@@Bennysol This mom didn't know at 18 years old how AWFUL of a father Mike Bargo Sr would prove to be. Stop blaming innocents and put the responsibility where it belongs. On the killer and the dad ("role model") who raised him into a psychopath.
I had a terrible childhood, terrible teenagehood and I struggled in my 20's, but I did not let my past define my future. I, also had a son and as a single parent... I instilled in him drugs, drinking and the gang life was NOT in his destiny...College was his destiny and I am proud of the great man that my son has become. Soooo, the terrible childhood card does not buy any sympathy on beating, torturing and burning a human being.
I think they all should get the death penalty. AND DO IT PUBLIC IN THE TOWN SQUARE!!!! HANG THEM BY THE KNECK, THEY DESERVES NO LESS!!!! MAKE A PUBLIC EXAMPLE!!!
lol pretty sure most parents instill that shit into their kids. You're not special and neither is your son. There are plenty of kids who grew up in good homes and still turned out to be assholes.
Tracy, you are a good mom. Always tell yourself that. As moms, we do the best we can even through pain while we watch our child self-destruct. It is heart breaking to hear you testify. You did the best you could for your child. Never doubt yourself. You are the mom who struggled for years trying to give your child boundaries which were constantly being undermined by this father. That is what moms do. Please, don't ever feel guilt for what has happened with your son. You did your best. You are a loving mom. You have my prayers and wishes for peace.
"You are a good mom..?" How on earth do you figure that..? You've got to be kidding me.... This is exactly what's wrong with today's society. Zero accountability.
What do you think SHE put him through with such a dismal choice of a garbage man to spawn a child with? Or do women have no accountability for who they choose to mate with? In an age of equality we need to ask why SO many women are factoring as SO irresponsible when it comes to who they will mate with? Let's remember that a number of both evolutionary and legal precedents make women far more the Vanguard of the species' future than men. Men tend to just be waiting around, competing for notice and waiting for their chance to pass on their seed.
Poor Michael. His daddy was mean. Well my daddy was mean too but I've never beat, shot, smashed with a sledgehammer and burned someone. Hard not to have sympathy for mom, but defense attorneys have been known to coach clients in methods to gain sympathy from the jurors.
Pierre Cardone I've been abused as a child and worse is I am married to an abuser much like my mother...but I don't hurt anyone intentionally much less physically...im an Empath My wife an abusive narcissist... I can't understand these ppl hacking each other apart...i don't understand
Pretty little Lesbian it's sad that you had to go through that. And that is why were you further abused by your partner. But you turned out to be a much better person than both of them
Oh Fuck that. A lot of kids get abused and don’t do premeditated murtaywd murder and show NO remorse. May he get sodomized and beat for a long time, then stabbed and let he bleed a very very very slow death.
Every relationship seems to be abusive after it's over. According to women. Bargos dad was so mean that Michael prefered to go with him instead of his mother
I feel awful for her. It's NOT her fault that her son is a killer. It's also not his father's fault, no matter how much of an asshole he is. But Michael is still her child. Her baby. You can't expect her to not try to save his life. A little compassion for her is in order.
Not for his actions, but for the kind of life she brought him into. What do women see in such low-quality/garbage men that they would produce a child with them?? Because ultimately nobody has more of a say in what men are mated with and what genes are passed on, than the women.
She’s not responsible for him. He’s was 18 years old!!! Even at 7 years old I knew the you don’t kill people. And the 15 year old Amber should have gotten the death sentence too. At 15 I would never have thought to lure my ex bf to be killed. What a sick disgusting pos. I hope she never gets out!!!
@@griz063 these low "quality/garbage men" don't show their true colours until after the woman is in love with him and she is emotionally invested in him. He emotionally abuses her at first and it is very subtle, before she knows it she is completely under his control and is isolated from friends and family (all part of his doing) and believes everything he says. Any time he thinks she's going to leave he either threatens her and/or her kids lives or he turns back into the man she fell in love with and tricks her into thinking he's changed, and the cycle continues. I know this because I've been that woman, I couldn't believe I was that woman because like you, I judged these women and thought that they must be stupid for staying with men who abuse them. But it happens so slowly and under the radar that you don't know until it's too late. You will never understand until you find yourself in that situation. I learnt many lessons in the course of that relationship, one of them being.....don't judge a person until you've walked in their shoes, instead, try to put yourself in their place and be kinder to those whom you judge because you never know what they're really going through beyond what it looks like on the surface.
@@maryc4463 I have walked that the other way around, and ultimately I'm responsible for my choices and actions . . . and gullibility. Am I wrong to grant women the same consideration? Do you think women are immune to not showing their true colors until after you fall in love with them?? 🙄 And perhaps there WAS some wisdom to the old rituals of a prolonged courtship, going steady, engagement and then finally marriage that was a LOT harder to divorce from than just dropping a few hundred bucks on a lawyer and being supported for the next 18 years.
He has a predisposition. It doesn’t matter how she raised him, he was going to become a sadistic psychopath killer. When you’re predisposed to change for that, you can’t control it.
My childhood was bad. I was in an orphanage at 3. I had a brutal neglectful childhood. I had a mother who could not assert herself. My Father would abandoned the family and then weasel his way back, only to repeat it again. I did commit a major crime. I did jail time and made it back to outside life. I knew right from wrong when I committed the crime. I pleaded guilty and took responsibility for my actions. HOWEVER, my childhood set me up for the potential of my crime to occur. I 'm not saying I was not guilty and that it was a dreadful thing to do, but everybody is different. Different brain chemistry different ways of handling stress. I know my neglectful drunken father and my door-mat of a mother affected my development as a growing child.
I fully agree. I grew up with drug and alcoholic parents. Though I was not physically abused by my parents I was sexually abused and psychologically terrorist by the guy who did those things to me. He was my parents best friends son. The abuse went on for along long time and considering what I went thru I’ve never hurt anyone let alone take someone’s life. Even getting angry and going thru violent outbursts I took it out on myself as I knew hurting others was not acceptable without it being self defense.
Hearing this, I am almost physically ill for this woman. I sincerely hope she was able to find some sort of resolve for all she's endured. She looks so broken still, remembering the things her son had to go through as well. The parental alienation she had to go through is truly sickening. She's still a wreck. Camera pan to Mike; I'm quite sure this is the very first time he's heard any of it.
What happened to you in the childhood isn't your responsibility but healing trauma is your responsibility none of them chose to heal it including him and his family
She could have helped him by not divorcing his father and separating father and son against the wishes of both. Women who raise killers aren't blameless, innocent fucking victims. \
@Billy Big Bollocks I think they all should get the death penalty. AND DO IT PUBLIC IN THE TOWN SQUARE!!!! HANG THEM BY THE KNECK, THEY DESERVES NO LESS!!!! MAKE A PUBLIC EXAMPLE!!!
Perfect example of why parents need to be in their kids life as much as possible. You might even have to be nosy and go behind their backs without them knowing to see exactly what’s going on in their life.
This is sad all around. I feel sad for the mom. No mother is perfect. Whatever her problems were in the family, there is no excuse for what her son chose to do. He was old enough to know right from wrong. I don't blame her son's actions on her. I also feel bad for the victim and his family. The defendants should all have gotten death for their parts in the murder.
The automatic response of "sad for the mom" is a relic of a bygone era of inequality. Equality has to mean equal responsibility in reproduction and right now a LOT of women it seems are not vetting the men they choose to produce children with and end up with total garbage. Her son was old enough to be taught by the parents what was right and wrong -- but they were probably too busy in their own drama of their own making to give him the upbringing he needed. Yea, the dad was an alcoholic and all-round terrible guy. So why did she choose to sleep with him?? Even if he just "put that on" the 7 or so months before their boy was born, there should have been signs. We need to ask what has changed that SO many women are ending up having children with low-quality and garbage men? Because outside of rape, they are the ones with the ultimate say.
@griz063 my ex was a great partner and father figure for my 9yr old son from another relationship. He wore that mask well. As soon as we married( he was convincing we would do well together and my son needed a father image) things changed drastically. Verbal abuse went to physical..I was supporting us now and he began drinking again. I was pregnant and very church involved. It just got worse and I should've left him that 1st year but was encouraged by our pastor to stay married, go to therapy and he would change. He never did..9 yrs of this and now 3 beautiful kids..yes..I know how ridiculous it was but I believed God would fix him..this woman was abused by the husband who turned their son against her. Michael sided with dad because he was never held accountable and dad was a friend so no boundaries or instruction on how to correct bad behaviors. This is common and he ruined this boy and his mother son relationship. Thankfully..therapy..sports and me being a good example as a nurse hard worker and college student helped. My son is successful, loving and on his own since 18 at college now his own apt. He knew early on Not to be like his abusive dad. My oldest son was doing well until he wasn't. He was and is angry I didn't leave this man way sooner. He is correct. My daughter picks men like her dad..also common with girls. This kid had no chance while dad was still influencing him and growing up with violence is learned behavior. No excuse for murder but I get why.
@@griz063 So ignorant and misinformed. Many abusers don’t start to abuse their spouses until AFTER the marriage. And it’s often too dangerous for them to leave at that point. Many women who are able to leave still end up getting killed by their abusers. It’s not that simple and you applying simpleminded thinking to a nuanced topic is absurd.
How is she a victim? She chose to be with AND produce a child with a low-quality/garbage man with so many issues that it would be very surprising if there were no signs of them before she conspired with him to have a child. In the era of equality we can no longer afford to always be considering the women the victims, especially when they are the ones with the ultimate say in which genes are passed on to the future generation.
@@maryc4463 From the woman's side, no. Just as you have no idea from the men's side. And again, this is an "inequality" that our society has allowed to exist in giving almost all of the deference to the woman. Again, I'm old fashioned and was willing to grant this. But far too many women are screaming for equality but then still wanting special concessions no man could hope for.
In Michaels sick mind he is loving this…..the more his Mom is in pain and the more she shows it…..the more better he feels because he thinks everybody is feeling sorry for him and he really is soaking it all up thinking everybody is really going to feel so sorry for him that he will get off on all of this…..nothing Michael did is excusable at all and his childhood or his Mom or Dad are NOT to blame…….but in his mind he’s convinced by seeing his Mom shed real tears that this is going to turn out well for him……like I said, he’s loving this and he’s soaking it all up.
It isn't hard to NOT have sympathy for this mom. And this is being said by a mother. The details of Seath Jackson's death give ALL MY SYMPATHY to his mother!
So strange.. any parent who can watch this and not feel for her is a psychopath.. because any parent knows you can do everything perfect but you still can't make decisions for your child. Mikey here had Napoleon syndrome and essentially became self conscious and aggressively insecure. So when the girl he loved in amber had a better looking taller and more athletic boyfriend, he snapped. Plain and simple
Nikki, surely you can find a place in your heart where you can find sympathy for this woman - her life ihas been ruined. She may have had her weaknesses, but don't we all?
For every person who wants to give this mom a hug or feels bad for her, imagine how Seath’s mom feels. Send your love and sympathy to Seath’s mom! She lost her child to these vile monsters!
No we can send out. Love to both. In my opinion, her situation is in yours because not only has she lost her son essentially, but she also has to deal with the stigma of being his mom. I especially feel bad for Amber 's mom because she lost both of her kids whereas at least Seath's parents have other children and a chance at grandchildren and some normalcy.
Yada yada yada, so what he was a wild kid??? There are lots of wild kids. That doesn't give him the right to kill a 15 yr old, burn him, hack him up and dump him in a quarry
I feel so bad for this lady like oh man you can just see the grief the disappointment her hair is not helping her circumstances but I just I feel the I feel bad for her heavy heart
I feel for her. She must be so conflicted A bad father nurtured a bad seed. She didn't seem to stand a chance in raising her son with positive influence. This kid got the death penalty. I can't imagine how she must feel. If it's any comfort, she should atleast know it's not her fault.
FUTMZ Oh shut up loser. Do you know her personally? Did you live in her home? Don’t just assume things. You have no clue(obviously)what having one good parent and then having just ONE bad parent can do to a kid. So just his horrible father could cause this!
I think they all should get the death penalty. AND DO IT PUBLIC IN THE TOWN SQUARE!!!! HANG THEM BY THE KNECK, THEY DESERVES NO LESS!!!! MAKE A PUBLIC EXAMPLE!!!
I know she's the mother of the killer and added with some poor parenting but she didn't deserve this for all that she went thru from the very beginning...she seemed like a genuine person and i feel so sorry for her....i know it's necessary for court trials but i am so sorry she had to be dragged thru this
@@MsShandy111 There are literally millions of men. Out of all the millions, she chose him. She chose to have a kid with him. She chose to stay. She's a terrible mother and raised a killer. No pity or empathy for her. Edit: she birthed an evil creation to the world.
As a "boy mom" this breaks my heart. She loves her son so much. My little man is only 7 and he's the sweetest thing ever. I pray he stays this way. I have watched people grow up to be complete trash and have a wonderful life.. I have also watched people come from trash and be wonderful people.. once your child is a certain age there is nothing u can do. They will do what they want no matter how they r raised. Sad but true.
All I see from this after watching many many videos. This kid is a punk who figured he knew it all. And his dad enabled him with it all. And this is where it ended up. So sad
Michael Bargo reminds me of one of those brats u see in walmart ,bullying their mom into getting him candy and even worse ,the mom letting the BS happen ....This is what happens when u let kids run the household. They become adults and cant understand nor cope in the real world with real problems..Either way ,at some point a person has to take responsibility for their own actions and quit blaming "mommy& daddy".....Most ppl dont have the perfect child hood....We'd all be murders if that's the case ..Some ppl are just born evil and i dont think it matters where u come from...
You are exactly right. This young man got punked by Seath and ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT DEAL with it! He kept thinking about it and needed to revenge. He could not deal with normal life in the world properly. We all take Ls man, no man goes through life winning every fight. You have to be able to take an L without going psycho!
That defense attorney is ridiculous.Theres not one question that holds anything to his case.Hes an adult.Trying to even insinuate her parenting is the cause of his vile behavior is just unbearable and unrealistic.Im going to continue to pray for this brave mom cause all I got from this she tried!
This is difficult to listen to. The cycle of abuse is a complex system of selfishness , blame, excuses, empty promises, and false hopes disguised as “love”. I have been the abused, and I have also been in the role of the abuser. I hope those suffering can get out before it’s too late , I hope those who are causing the suffering will realize what they are doing and find peace within themselves.
Hmm so mike sits on the stand and talks for two hours portraying himself as being such a nice person who would have liked to have gone to church on Sundays but instead used Sundays for cleaning the house .... he talked for two he avoids drama, how he's a wee guy and doesn't want any trouble blah blah blah - and then his mum gets on the stand and it's like she is talking about a different kid. Of. Course, the jury will believe his mother over him
My heart goes out to this mom. She is trying so had to raise her son right. The lawyer asked mom if he gets punished for his bad behavior. Mom says yes. Lawyer asked if he was ever got hit and results in bruises. Mom says no. When I was growing in 70's and 80's we never knew what the word time out means. If Mom or Dad didn't feel like like you are behaving like what they are expected you will feel it for the next few days. My sibling and I sure did had our fair share of punishment. They say kids should be spanked/yelled at while you are disciplining them. They will grow up having issues. My god people look at this case and some other cases with kids out murdering drugging sleeping around having babies at a very young age. If these kids were punished accordingly I think we wouldn't have this sort off problems in our society.
Bargo’s mother looks & sounds beaten down or she’s a fine actress, I’ve seen it many times I would suggest she would have been an outgoing popular & handsome woman until being broken down by an inadequate spouse and father. As for her son many more individuals have similar upbringings some much worse, there’s no way his actions can be mitigated against.
It seems dad and son were little buddies who lived to make people miserable including his mother. If anyone is to blame it’s good ok dad. Did he testify?
If Bargo's defense was that he wasn't present during the murder, why would his legal team have his mother testify that he had a poor and violent upbringing?
Does it look like they spent a lot of money on the lawyer? This is Florida my friend. Their attorney is probably same guy that cuts the grass. Door-to-door he's reaching for anything he can get. You got a couple sticks in the backyard. I'll bundle them up for you
RIP Seath Jackson. Sincere condolences to the family and friends. Motherhood/Fatherhood doesn't come with an instruction book. It's trial and error. Majority of parents slog out to provide a decent home/education for their children. Having said that Bargo wasn't a baby he KNEW right from wrong and he made the WRONG CHOICE (we all have free WILL how u use it is up to u)and the consequences are devastating for his family, as I'm sure they are for all families of these youngsters. We ALL make mistakes but WILLFUL MURDER is not a mistake, we all pay consequences for our actions.
This mother isn't making excuses about her son't murderous act she's simply being asked about his upbringing she was trying to be a good parent & give Michael discipline but his father was doing the complete opposite, If you have two parents like this then things like this are bound to happen & the end result isn't good especially In this case but lets not forget the real victim is Seth Jackson.
She looks like she hasn't slept in a couple of days. All of the parents suffered from this group murder. Imagine how the mother who lost her son feels. MIchael's mother probably can't sleep thinking that her son may get the death penalty.
Mike even testified that his dad was great and he could count on him for anything. His dad even gave him a ride the day Seath was murdered. Now they're trying to smear the father to explain why his son is a worthless, selfish, lazy, ignorant little shit. Convicted of 2 felonies already at a young age. He was 18 and sleeping with 13 y/o girls, abusing drugs, unemployed piece of shit. He was 18 hanging out with freshman kids in high school, a real winner. We're supposed to feel sorry for him now because his daddy used to drink? My life was pretty hellish when I was little I still never killed anyone.....
I am so glad I have such loving caring and strong parents, yes long ago they had issues and trauma, but they decided to push through every obstacle and bettered themselves, heck, weeks ago when i got sick with pans flair, My mom went out of her way to get me a Burger and fries from bru burger after my family went out to eat after church. I always thank her for the hard work she did for us. sadly, this mother worked so hard for her son, only for him to repay her by treating her badly, abusing her, verbally, and physically, Mike killed that 15yo boy and has no remorse for what he did. and devastated this poor woman and putting her through so much suffering, what's worse was that they didn't have a dad with them, my heart and best wishes goes out to her.
I was talking to my kids about this case before watching this video. I strongly believe children are a product of their environment. While his mom is not to physically blame for what happened, parents play a huge role is how their children turn out, who they become and the morals/values they are taught growing up will influence the choices they make. All it takes is one bad choice. I sleep well at night knowing I teach my kids right from wrong and so much more. I'm sure she wonders everyday where she went wrong in rasing him to be the person he became. As a parent we have to do so much more than provide basic necessities to our children.
I work with her lady that her son is a teen and possibly a future serial killer, he even pulls knives on her, yet she is a great mom. No psychiatric meds seem to work on this boy. I have worked with her for over 10 years since the kid was like 4. She has tried everything!! Some people are just born evil and even the best parents can't change that.
This kids had a 7x better childhood than I had and I didn’t viscously unlive an innocent kid when I was 18. NONE of these are valid excuses for his behavior. However, it sounds like these two parents spent more time being inconsistent with their parenting than coming together for the better good. I have no doubt that there were clear enough signs of his imbalances far prior to the incident…he needed psychological treatment-whether he wanted it or not.
His so called father was not a father, didn't teach him anything but to at like a loser to piss off the mother, the father signed his son death penalty....spare the rod and spoil the child....
Yet another victim of Bargo's crime's. No one can save Bargo for what he'd planned against Seath Jackson. R.I.P. Seath Jackson, justice has been served but nothing can bring you back.
so tragic. I feel really sorry for her, you can see the devastation but it seems the son wanted to be with his father and anger just built up but if he was spoilt, that creates monsters ?
I just heard of this murder and my sympathies go to Seath's mother but on the other hand Michael's mother seem to do everything she could do. When you have another parent doing exactly the opposite there is not much control you have over them. I know as I had issue's with my ex and my son. He undermine everything I did. I can feel for this woman her heart is broken for the son she couldn't save. This young man has made a victim out of her and obviously has no remorse for any of his actions. It's the Mothers who go down fighting and denying that their child has done nothing like Scott Peterson's mother.
Anyone who knows anything about Ssdi knows if the child turns 18 during the process of receiving it, it MOST DEFINITELY is sent to them directly or to their bank acct.
This poor lady did nothing wrong. She tried to do the right thing. She married a monster and I bet he encouraged the son to treat his mother horribly as well as behave like himself. I think all these boys who grow up to be killers were told they’re special because they’re male and, as such, they don’t receive any consequences for their bad behavior. So many of them act like they’re entitled to kill without conscience.
Oh My God!! I can not handle this sorry excuse for a woman setting there pretending to be on the edge of crying while pretending to be such a victim. Truly make me want to vomit...
When I see this....all I can do is Thank God that I am lucky enough to have a wonderful son....never gave me a problem, ever...he's 21 next week. I feel so fortunate...and so sad for this mother on the stand.

I can't imagine being a mother and one of my kids doing this...I'd be so devastated and heartbroken
Most of them were on pills or drunks
Imagine being his mother and he's innocent.
Boys will put their dad over their mother and if they lose their dad blame their mother. Something about wanting to be masculine.
Bargo's mother will be too busy basking in vindication to have space left for devastation, as for heartbreak it looks like she's got complete immunity to that.
Admittedly, I can't be sure about this, but that's the type of character she appears to have.
No human with a conscience does this. She failed miserably.
IN MY VIEW
My heart goes out to Michael Bargo's mother. People who commit crimes can't or don't grasp the suffering they put THIER loved ones through.
Her idiocy of having a son in that environment cintibuted heavily to this. She’s partially to blame.

Same with my dad. He's out of our lives now but the whole family is a mess because of him.
This woman has had a bad life. I hope she is doing better. No woman should be treated that way.
She probably not knowing her son will be put to death
I feel bad for her. . She seems sweet and like a good mom, she tried. You can tell she's completely gutted by everything with Michael and his father, not to mention being at trial for her son murdering a 15 year old kid. Praying for her strength

Weird, a crying voice but no tears.

lol pretty sure most parents instill that shit into their kids.

Clearly he's put her through hell.
He’s a psychopath, they have no feelings. He does not care

If course she is responsible

And perhaps there WAS some wisdom to the old rituals of a prolonged courtship, going steady, engagement and then finally marriage that was a LOT harder to divorce from than just dropping a few hundred bucks on a lawyer and being supported for the next 18 years.

My father was a violent alcoholic and I've never killed anybody, that excuse is bullshit

Perfect example of why parents need to be in their kids life as much as possible. You might even have to be nosy and go behind their backs without them knowing to see exactly what’s going on in their life.
I agree. However with a father like that..... makes it impossible for the mother to participate and discipline in a normal healthy fashion.
This poor woman doesn’t deserve any of this.
Yes, she does. She failed to protect her child from an abusive , drunk of a father
Wow Michael had a troubled childhood and that is sad BUT plenty of other people have the same or worse yet they don't go off and kill
In a way she's a victim too. I pity her because no mom deserves to endure that.

She is certainly somewhat responsible as these kids were totally unsupervised.
I see a version of survivors guilt that I haven't ever thought about. In a way, her son lost his life that day as well. I feel awful for her. 😢
I couldn't agree with you more!
Many prayers to the Jackson family and to the mom on the stand here. Just sad all the way around.
You raised a monster 👹
Let us NOT forget Seths Parents, they will never see their son again.
She seems to be afraid of them both. can't understand why so many tears. is she embarrassed or does she feels this is in part her fault?
Let one murderer away with it for Mental health then youd never get a conviction again.
She was young and I’m sure she’s devastated.
It's the Mothers who go down fighting and denying that their child has done nothing like Scott Peterson's mother.
or Chris Watts' mom...
17:02 Little Mikey doesn’t seem to recall receiving these funds. 😆
Senior gets drunk at the bar with his mom because he has no friends to get drunk with lol
You didn't do a good job raising your kid. Now the state will discipline him. All these kids are messed up because of mom and dads drugs and alcohol.
She’s so sad she loves her son it’s awful 😭
