  • This was originally gonna be chopped up and edited for a quick iG clip but why not post I haven’t vlogged in a while.
    I am no cosmetologist however I’m a licensed advanced esthetician of 7 years.
    In the past 2 years I changed my service menu from just waxing & makeup to actual skincare. Now im in love with seeing skin care transformations. Here’s a little clip of me having a bad hair day so I washed my hair and blow dried it now im trying out my high-frequency comb on my hair for the first time.
    If your a esthetician and you use this comb as a hair treatment, comment what you use in your hair I do know peppermint essential oils is a good incorporation with a scalp massage before the combing treatment! Anything different I should try?
    High frequency comb energizes hair follicles & promotes blood circulation which can diminish hair loss and reduce dryness/ dandruff.
    Ask your local Esthetician if this treatment is good for you.

    Omg I’m so happy to see this video.
    I went to a trichologist for my hair shedding. She used a high frequency device on my scalp and I want to buy one for home use.
    It’s hard to find videos with black hair so thank you!!

    The device lights up. You’d have to see it in the dark. Also the manual instructions say that if it doesn’t light up it still works and not too worry. Thought I’d share. ❤

    Is there an update for this? Are you seeing success? Obviously my hairs different but I had a lot of fall out from Covid a bunch of times, lots of stress, got fried and brittle too. I just won one of these high frequency wands and hoping it’ll do good things for the hair 😅

    Have lab work performed for any deficiencies. Vitamin d also affects many things

    Have you had labs drawn to see if you have an iron deficiency? There is a connection between low iron and hair loss.

      I have in the past and they’ve always told me I’m fine 🤔 but I’m gonna check my recent lads myself to see what my levels was another person asked me about my iron levels 😢

    I’m a license aesthetician, and I bought the high frequency wands I am wondering if they help with hyperpigmentation which I have and I also have 4C Hair that just breaks all the time and is thinning and I can’t seem to get it to grow.

      Yes! It works for both, For your hair, try training it to retain moisture meaning get a leave in conditioner (spray or not so heavy cream) and use a simple oil like olive oil every day and anytime your hair feels dry that will train it to thicken, grow & strengthen it. I would suggest leaving all heat alone as it will be a conflict with your goals

      Honestly I ended up doing a mini chop on my hair and really couldn't tell since I had cut it but I will be filming an update soon and it will have the before an after I will say as far as my edges it did boost some growth on my temple sides, that I was able to see because I didn't cut that low

    Do you have to wash hair before use. Can you have products in your hair?

    • @MaeBevella
      @MaeBevella  6 місяців тому

      yes I would recommend washing and drying your hair first. Do it on dry hair meaning if you use heat protectants to blow dry, that fine just as long and when you use HF its not touching wet scalp or hair

    How often can it be used?

    • @MaeBevella
      @MaeBevella  Рік тому

      I’d say every 3 weeks just to give the scalp time to generate new cells
